Apartment (T1) in a historic building that, in the past, was a cultural space of high importance in Funchal, having over a time functioned as a cinema. This building with three floors addresses a decoration with different themes of some of the great classics of the seventh art.
This flat is located on the 2nd floor of an old cultural space, now completely renovated, transformed and decorated with details that refer to Africa with emphasis on Morocco (White House).
The decoration has been thought out in detail and combines cultural elements with the most sought after in a travel context: practicality, modernity and comfort.
This property has capacity to accommodate 4 people. It offers a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom with shower, a living room with sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, in open space.
The building has a common entrance to all the properties and is located in Rua Ivens, behind the Funchal Municipal Garden, one of the main arteries of the city.

Building located in Rua Ivens, behind the Municipal Garden of Funchal and 1 minute walk from the Municipal Theatre Baltazar Dias. From this building you can get to know and visit on foot the main points of interest of the capital of Madeira Island. It is close to restaurants, shopping centres, bars, museums, the Cathedral of Funchal, Funchal Marina, Santa Catarina Park.
In the city centre there is plenty of information about all sorts of activities you can do during your holiday: cultural activities, radical activities, nature related activities... whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island!

The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.

You have access to all areas of the property.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.

Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

A nice and cozy, fully equipped apartment (the first Airbnb apartment where even plenty of dishcloths were provided in the kitchen).
The location is very central (yet very quiet), close to all of Funchal's attractions, cafes, and restaurants. The Plaza Madeira shopping center, located literally across the road, is very convenient for parking and has a Pingo Doce inside. Needless to say, it’s also great for general shopping if needed.
The check-in process and instructions provided by the hosts are very clear.
The only minor downside of the apartment is the water heater, which cannot provide hot water for long. So, if there are a few people who need to take a shower, you’ll need to do it quickly :)
But overall, it is an amazing place to stay on the island, and I would definitely recommend it. I would also love to stay here again when I visit Madeira next time.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié ce logement. L'intérieur est parfait, permet de cuisiner si on le souhaite. Le lit était très confortable, les armoires géantes. La salle de bain impeccable. La décoration est moderne et accueillante. Je n'ai pas utilisé la fonction "lit" du canapé lit, ni la TV. Localisation parfaite pour tout faire à pied. L'absence de clé aide à éviter le stress de la perdre. J'ai utilisé leur proposition de pick-up depuis l'aéroport et confirme que le prix est attractif. Les chauffeurs étaient adorables et à l'heure.

Zu aller erst die Lage, diese ist nämlich wirklich wunderbar. Das Apartment liegt so zentral, dass man wirklich sehr schnell überall hinkommt. Zudem war es tatsächlich sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer ist wie auf den Fotos gezeigt und relativ modern eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist auch ganz in Ordnung gewesen. Den Verwalter konnte man immer leicht kontaktieren, welcher auch sehr freundlich und schnell geantwortet hat. An Sauberkeit hat es ab manchen Verbesserungsbedarf, sowie das Sofa war leider kaputt.
Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft aber ganz gut, da die vor allem Lage wirklich hervorragend ist.

The apartment was extremely well located, next to the shopping mall, next to the bus station to catch the aerobus and very central at a walking from all the great places downtown.
Had some issues with the apartment: - it was missing some basic utils like the microwaves, dishes drying rack, place for putting used towels, more pans (only one small was available) - furniture could be of higher quality based on price paid (think the sofa is cracking down on the lower part) - it can get really hot during summer time and there is no AC, the 2 portable fans were just not powerful enough to make a difference - the kitchen chairs were not that comfortable
So based on my experience the apartment needs some smaller investments so it can match the price paid.
Other than that, the apartment was probably the best choice for me when booking my trip for that busy week (mid july), meeting my important criteria: safe, central, quite and with basics to cook and have a great time in Madeira.

The apartment was really centrally located making it really easy to go for a walk and explore on foot. It was clean, bright and stocked with the essentials. We were really pleasantly surprised by the amount of closet space that allowed us to unpack since we were there for a few days! We rented a car and did not struggle to find parking nearby. Checking in was really easy and we were greeted by the host when we initially had difficulties with getting into the building. We loved our stay and would happily come back one day when we return to Madeira.

Appartement super et très bien placé ! Le choix des matériaux et meubles moderne permet de se sentir chez soi, la salle de bain est très agréable ! A very pleasant & comfortable stay at this flat. Within steps of the gorgeous municipal garden and many super restaurants and cafes. Incredibly central to everything with the added bonus of zero noise from the busy streets or neighboring apartments. Impeccably clean & cozy with tasteful decor and tons of natural light. Very safe lobby environment with well maintained elevator and modern, fancy/secure lock mechanisms on main entry door and unit doors. Hosts were extremely helpful, generous, and kind. Le logement est très calme et bien agencé....Nous recommanderont cet airbnb à nos connaissances. Eine tolle Unterkunft im Herzen von Funchal. Das Bett ist sehr bequem! Ein einziger kleiner Minuspunkt gibt es: Ich war im November/Dezember dort und habe unterschätzt wie warm es ist. Die Wohnung hat keine Klimaanlage, lediglich Ventilatoren. Es wurde doch sehr heiß.

Lokalizacja mieszkania to ogromny plus, dobra baza wypadowa na całą wyspę, blisko sklep spożywczy i mnóstwo restauracji. Mieszkanie czyste i dobrze wyposażone. Minusem był problem z drzwiami, raz po raz drzwi do mieszkania się blokowały i trzeba było kilka razy je zamykać i otwierać żeby zaczęły działać. W drugim dniu pobytu zaczęło nam kapac z sufitu i mieliśmy garnek na środku pokoju, obsługa niekoniecznie paliła się do załatwienia sprawy - zaoferowali nam naprawę fachowców którzy będą z nami siedzieli 2 dni... Na sam koniec wyjazdu coś było nie tak z bojlerem do wody, zaczął buczeć/hałasować i trzeba było go wyłączyć i stąd mieliśmy problemy z ciepłą wodą. Obsluga hotelowa raz weszła do naszego pokoju i jak wróciliśmy z wycieczki zastaliśmy otwarte drzwi do mieszkania.

Such a cute apartment with everything we needed for our stay! There’s no AC which is common in Europe but the location of this apartment did not have good airflow despite having huge windows. They provided two fans which were lifesavers! The bathroom is incredibly nice and the bed is quite large. It was walking distance to everything in downtown Funchal, definitely recommend this stay!

Гарні сучасні апартаменти з приємним дизайном в самому центрі міста. Ідеальне розташування, поруч великий торговельний центр і сквер. В квартирі є все необхідне для життя. Тихо і затишно. Єдиний мінус це те, що в апартаментах було доволі спекотно. Там є переносні охолоджувачі повітря, але не вистачало стандартного кондиціонеру.

Very good location.
Nice apartement for two people.
It was cleaned but bed sheets were still stained.
Wrong information in the website description about dishwasher and microwave. It has been removed from the description and we got a discount after many call.

+ Tolle zentrale Lage in Funchal + Küche war modern
+ Es wurden paar Mängel am gleichen Tag noch behoben. - Sauberkeit war sehr schlecht - Flecken auf dem Boden, fleckige Kissenbezüge - Stehlampe war defekt und es hingen Kabel heraus - Im Badezimmer lief das Wasser im Waschbecken nicht ab und der Toilettendeckel war sehr lose. - Sofa hatte sehr viele dunkle flecken - Steckdose hang locker aus der Wand heraus - für Kinder Lebensgefährlich - Kühlschrank ist am ersten tag aus seiner Halterung gefallen
- das beste war, dass der Haupteingang sich nicht mehr öffnen lies mit dem Pin, wir mussten knapp eine Stunde im starken regen draußen warten. Niemand hat sich beim Support verantwortlich gefühlt, bis uns die Reinigungsdame die Türe aufgemacht hat.

The apartament looks exactly like in the pictures, it is located centrally and it is easy to get to shops/parkings etc. It was a bit hard to find the building as the address in the app is not 100% correct (we received another one on whats app and that one was correct). There are a few minuses such as: - they say there is a washing machine and a dryer (the laundry detergent box was empty) and even though the washing machine has a program to dry the clothes, when you get them out of the machine are still wet and there was no place to hang the clothes so we had to spread them through the chairs, sofa etc.; - there are a lot of mosquitoes and no mosquito nets at the windows and even though there was a device against mosquitoes, but there was no liquid in it; - the sink in the bathroom was constantly clogging so we could use the water with interruptions because we had to wait for the water to go; - the toilet seat was broken.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja oraz wyposażenie apartamentu. Super wyposażona kuchnia - wszystko czego potrzeba nawet wymagającym. Brak zmywarki. Ale największym utrudnieniem był brak klimatyzacji. Rezerwując apartament wybierałam lokal z tarasem - był to mój wymóg i kryterium. Dostałam bez i to duży minus dla mnie

A localização é, sem dúvida alguma, a melhor característica deste alojamento.
O apartamento é agradável, e está bem equipado.
Ter máquina de lavar, e secar roupa, ajudou a ultrapassar o facto de , num período de 7 noites (19 a 26), as toalhas não serem substituídas.
Houve um dia em que tive dificuldades com o televisor, e após envio de mensagem para o "host" veio alguém , de imediato, ajudar.
Simpático terem deixado sal, azeite, vinagre ....no móvel da cozinha. Lamento não haver troca/ substituição das toalhas, pelo menos, de 3 em 3 dias.
Os lençóis do quarto estavam manchados tanto no colchão como nas almofadas.
Acredito que estavam lavados, mas as manchas deram ( e dão sempre) má impressão.
Da listagem de equipamento, da cozinha, faz parte um micro-ondas, mas o mesmo não se encontra no apartamento.
Não me fez falta, mas se não existe não deveria constar do inventário.
Uma das críticas ,que li antes de conhecer o Cine Park Residence, foi a falta de máquina da louça.
Faz falta sim, pelo que, creio que seria interessante, o responsável pelo alojamento, analisar esta lacuna.
A tampa da sanita também está a precisar de um arranjo.
Nunca conto com os produtos de higiene pessoal dos alojamentos, visto levar sempre os meus, mas já que são mencionados, creio que seria simpático, ao chegar ao local, ter à nossa espera pequenas embalagens, de shampô e ou gel de banho, novas e não utilizadas.

Amazing apartment in a fantastic location! Right beside the old town, surrounded by fantastic restaurants and wine bars. No parking but there is lots of parking in La Vie shopping centre 1 minutes walk away. Very clean apartment with everything you could need for your stay. We had some difficulty finding the apartment on the first night but the hosts were very responsive and helped immediately. Would absolutely recommend this location. We will be back!

Wir durften uns 9 Tage im Apartment aufenthalten und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Apartment ist super gelegen, sodass wir vieles zu Fuß unternehmen konnten. Auch die Busstationen waren nur wenige Meter entfernt. Das Apartment war sehr sauber und wir haben alles notwendige Vorgefunden (Bade- und Küchenutensilien, Bettwäsche etc). Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! :)

Location was absolutely amazing. Within walking distance of everything touristy. The downsides were that the apartment didn’t smell very clean, the bed smelled like none of the linens had been washed. Everything else looked very clean. The apartment was very well stocked with almost all necessities we needed and the hosts were very very helpful and communicative the whole trip. The biggest downside is that there is no AC. The island is very hot and humid and it was much cooler outside than it ever was inside. We tried leaving the windows open to cool down but were attacked by mosquitos because there are no screens on the windows. It was too hot to ever relax in the apartment, we spent most of our time outside.

Perfect location. No parking in the property, but there is a big parking in a shopping mall nearby (3 Min. walking), so not a problem at all. Self check in and check out, no key needed. Good communication with a host via chat (cell phone number was also available), all questions could be answered. No AC, so it was sometimes pretty warm in the apartment, but with opened windows it’s ok.

Krásný, nově a moderně vybavený apartmán. Má vše potřebné. Super lokalita, blízko parkovacího domu, supermarketu, spousta restaurací v okolí, blízko na autobus a do přístavu. Check in samoobslužný. Dům klidný a tichý. Ocenili bychom v ložnici deku navíc.
Mohlo být lépe uklizeno. Odpad ve sprše byl plný vlasů, gauč umazaný, koberec nevysátý, deka na gauči nepraná. Každé ráno jsme pod pračkou utírali kaluž vody. Na týden 1 toaletní papír 😀
