Câmara de Lobos is a municipality located on the south shore of Madeira Island. This city is well known for its great locations, food, and a lovely bay that hosts Câmara de Lobo's fishers and is the inspiration for some of the paintings made by Sir Winston Churchill during his stay on Madeira Island. Câmara de Lobos it's also famous by the banana plantations and the vineyards, located in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos, one of the places where most of the grapes for Madeira Wine are harvested.
