AREA
The building has a common entrance to all the properties and is located in Rua da Carreira, one of the main arteries of Funchal. From this property you will be able to know and visit on foot the main points of interest of the capital of Madeira Island. It is close to restaurants, shopping centres, bars, museums, the Cathedral of Funchal, Funchal Municipal Garden, Marina of Funchal and Municipal Theatre.
In the city centre there is plenty of information about all kinds of activities you can do during your holidays: cultural activities, radical activities, nature related activities... whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island!
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.
INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Ottima posizione, a due passi dal centro.
L’appartamento è molto carino anche se manca qualche piccolo dettaglio (qualche porta asciugamano extra, stendino, zanzariere e qualche tenda alle finestre).
Abbiamo avuto una pulizia (gratuita) a metà soggiorno, molto apprezzata, e nonostante il disguido avuto per il giorno esatto in cui sarebbe avvenuta lo staff è stato disponibile.
Nella pulizia avvenuta durante il soggiorno, a nostro parere, sarebbe stato opportuno pulire il pavimento.
Mancanza di porta asciugamani sufficienti, stendino, tende per privacy e zanzariere.

Lokalizacja była dogodna do zwiedzania Funchal , zakupów i korzystania z knajpek. Kilka minut od apartamentu jest dogodny i tani patking, gdzie zawsze było miejsce do zaparkowania wynajętego auta.
W apartamencie była pralka ale nie odnaleźliśmy suszarki aby móc w pełni skorzystać z usługi. Inne dodatki były super!

Very comfortable and clean, close to everything. Make sure the door code works before closing the door behind you. Ours didn't work, it was dropping the last digit. But there was the key in the apartment, so we used it.

La posizione è ottimale, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro storico e anche dal porto. In generale quella zona di giorno è molto accogliente e movimentata mentre di sera è abbastanza spento lì intorno. La casa era molto bella e abbastanza curata nei dettagli ed è nuova la struttura, molto comodo il sistema di entrata con i codici per le varie porte. Un’altra cosa positiva è che è ben fornito con gli utensili da cucina.
Se devo dire qualcosa, lo staff non è stato eccellente al 100%: è finita la carta igienica dopo 2 giorni ed ho semplicemente chiesto se dovessero fornircela loro o se dovessimo comprarla noi, e per due giorni mi hanno tenuto sulle spine dicendo che l’avrebbero portata ma alla fine ho dovuto comprarla per ovvie necessità. A questo punto avrei decisamente preferito che ci dicessero che non era compresa e basta, senza creare “disagio” per due giorni. Il servizio di pulizie era a disposizione della struttura, ma non sono mai venuti a pulire il nostro appartamento o cambiare gli asciugamani in una settimana. Negli appartamenti normali non mi aspetto questi servizi, però in uno di questo tipo che assomiglia più ad un hotel e che comunque ha un prezzo elevato, queste accortezze fanno piacere.
Un ultimo appunto è che farebbe comodo uno stendino, o comunque qualcosa su cui stendere i panni bagnati. Ad ogni modo queste piccolezze non hanno intralciato la qualità del nostro soggiorno, che è stato comunque ottimo.

Die Unterkunft ist modern eingerichtet und sauber! Die Lage ist sehr zentral und perfekt, wenn man zu Fuß die Stadt Funchal erkunden möchte. Leider hat die Unterkunft keinen Balkon oder Terrasse. Jedoch gibt es in der Umgebung viele Restaurants und Cafés, um auswärts essen zu gehen.

Great apartment with excellent location close to everything e.g. harbor, restaurants, garden and shopping. All within less than 10 min walk. Fully equipped kitchen and everything was as the pictures promised. Love to come back!

Appena arrivata ho notato che c’erano dei capelli sui cuscini, aprendo il letto c’erano peli e macchie scure sulle lenzuola. Il divano aveva delle macchie così come il tavolino unto davanti al divano. Dal contatto di riferimento non ho mai ricevuto risposta.Ho provato a scrivere all’host che dopo un po’ mi ha risposto dicendomi che avrebbero mandato qualcuno per cambiare almeno le lenzuola. Dopo un paio d’ore, non avendo ricevuto aggiornamenti, sono tornata nell’alloggio ed ho notato che le lenzuola erano state cambiate, non c’erano più le macchie di prima, ma delle macchie differenti e ancora peli e capelli. Scrivo nuovamente all’host per segnalare il problema e, con una noncuranza mai vista, mi ha risposto che sarei potuta andare via tranquillamente. Il giorno successivo mi sveglio e trovo una pozza d’acqua nel corridoio che hanno pulito dopo circa 10 ore dalla segnalazione con uno degli asciugamani forniti, senza rimpiazzarlo. We've checked and indeed our teams were in the property several times, both cleaning and maintenance. Our teams are subject to availability, and we send them twice a day for the situations you mentioned. However, after a few visits, we found that the problems presented by the guest were not always problems. As stated before, these are subject to availability. We anticipate your return soon.

Great gem we discovered. Great layout and very well presented accommodation. One of the better Abnb's we have stayed in. Highly recommended but parking is a frustration and getting around is a necessity.

Die Lage ist super, man ist quasi direkt im Zentrum und zu Fuß ist einiges sehr gut erreichbar.
Wir haben das Zimmer sehr sauber aufgefunden und total liebevoll eingerichtet.
Auch der Verzicht auf Schlüssel und die Verwendung der Türcodes gibt einen Pluspunkt!

Прекрасные новые апартаменты в центре города.Легкое транспортное сообщение,магазины и рестораны рядом.Все заявленное было в наличии.Посуды и техники достаточно.Соль,перец,оливковое масло в наличии.Стиральная машина с сушкой и порошок.Не могли найти утюг,персол нас быстро соориентировал.Очень тихо,что важно для отдыха.Персонал отзывчивый,пошли навстречу о позднем выселении.Рекомендую.

good location, good facilities, kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook. didn't hear anyhting from the neighbours or outside, so very peaceful.

Apartment has all you need including washing and dryer machine
Please fix the elevator door, it gives you 0.005 seconds to enter and exit before doors try to kill you ( no system to automatic detect you)
Door lock (of the apartment) is amazingly dangerous as cannot be open manually and automatically locks and unlocks (wonder what would happen in case of an emergency if did not work for whatever reason)

The location of this place is perfect. Everything is walkable in Funchal and there are really good restaurants right on the same road. The place was a little crammed for 2 adults and 2 kids but we made it work. When we arrived everything was easy to check in and clean. The hardest part was the communication and cleaning. When we arrived their were no sheets for the pull out couch and had to ask for sheets for that. It should have been known that would be needed as we said we had 4 people. So the first night we slept on the blanket for the couch and pillows. It was not ideal but we were so tired we barley noticed. The day they were supposed to come and clean we were gone from 10am-6pm. We got back to get ready for dinner and they hadn't come yet. The cleaners came when we were trying to get ready for dinner and unfortunately weren't able to clean. We had to only get new towels and deal with nothing being clean for 10 days. 2 nights before we left my 6 year old got sick overnight all over the sheets and comforter. We needed new sheets and towels as we had one more night. I communicated at 930am and never heard back until 330pm and then no one came until 730pm. It was a little hard to get any answers and the times they showed up were very inconvenient. Overall I think the place worked for us with being close so we could walk around and not need taxis was very key for us (2 small children who would need car seats). I do wish the fridge was a little bigger and there was a microwave but we made it all work. We weren't in the place as much so it was good for sleeping and relaxing at night. I would stay again.

Замечательное месторасположение в старом городе. Было тихо и очень хорошо спалось. Порадовало наличие очень хороших кондиционеров. Вся мебель новая, чистая и светлая. Ощущение такое, что заехали в совершенно новые апартаменты. Холл и корридоры вне всяческих похвал.
Нет никого на рецепции, все вопросы только online. При заселении необходимо заполнить длинную форму check-in.

washing machine showed error -> absolutely not working. There was cold water one morning and we had to fix it ourselves. The windows have no net, so if you let it open (which you have to), a lot of mosquitos come inside. The lamp was placed SO BADLY that each one of the four of us hit his head by the lamp at least a couple of times. The frying pan needs a lid. Otherwise, the smell goes into the whole apartment. Check-in was a terrible experience ... one hour and a half of stress. And please do not choose this apartment if you are four people :) for two it would work as a last resort. And hella expensive as well for what it offers (but it was the cheapest we could find, so..).
Good points: cozy shower. New (if you care about this). Location is pretty central around the city part of Funchal (if you want this).
