A bedroom and modern decoration, this apartment is five minutes walk from the center of Funchal.

Getting out of the rut is a must on a vacation! In addition to the usual tours and leisure activities, your rest deserves a perfect location where a little touch of class and glamor are the icing on the cake! This apartment is part of a newly opened condominium, located in an excellent neighborhood, right next to the city center and with fantastic conditions to receive you.

The property has a comfortable bedroom with a lot of natural light, a feature that is visible throughout the area, thanks to the large windows that give you access to the balcony that surrounds the whole apartment.
In the outdoor area you can enjoy the space to have your meals with a great views of the city and part of the bay.
The living room is decorated with taste and detail, and it is noteworthy that the sofa also serves as a bed, with capacity for two people, giving all the comfort you deserve!
This property can accommodate up to four people.
The apartment is fully equipped with all facilities and has a free parking place.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Situated in one of the most prestigious areas of Funchal, this flat is close to supermarkets, pharmacies, shops, bars, theatres and the Casino of Madeira.
Next to the Casino you will find the lovely Santa Catarina Park, with large green areas for jogging, relaxing or picnicking overlooking the amazing bay of Funchal.
The location is ideal for exploring the city by foot (reaching within ten minutes walk the cathedral, the marina and the city centre) or by public transport (bus stop is within two minutes walk).

GETTING AROUND
Although a aerobus bus stop for airport arrivals and departures is within five minutes walk distance from the flat, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get there. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!

Guests have access to all areas of the flat.

We are always at your disposal to help or to answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. Gute und saubere Unterkunft in zentraler Lage. Alles was man braucht ist ohne Probleme zu Fuß erreichbar. Privater Parkplatz ist vorhanden, jedoch nur mit einem kleinen Auto nutzbar und mit entsprechenden Einparkskills. Die Unterkunft war gut ausgestattet und verfügt über zwei Toiletten und einen 360-Grad-Balkon. Ruhige Lage, derzeit in der Nähe nur eine Baustelle, die aber lärmtechnisch nicht sehr stört. Check-In und -Out verlief problemlos und flexibel via Schlüsselbox. Gutes WLAN vorhanden. Die Küche verfügt über alle notwendigen Gegenständen. Hatten insgesamt nichts auszusetzen und würden wiederkommen.

Lovely apartment with a wraparound balcony and view of the ocean in the distance. Very walkable to many restaurants and tourist attractions — we only used a taxi one time outside of our trips to and from the airport.

The property is exceptional (5*) with respect to the overall quality and comfort of the accommodation it provides (domestic, leisure, sleeping). Impressive aspects include its design & facilities, an expansive living space, certainly for two people, and impressive top-floor location with a 360 degree balcony. While the balcony is overlooked by other taller properties, the front still feels private, secure and provides a partial sea view. The property did lack information on certain minor but essential requirements, such as the location of waste & recycling bins in the basement and how to access hot water in the kitchen. Otherwise, an enjoyable and highly recommendable experience.

Volvería. Muy buena ubicación, la casa es muy amplia y cómoda. Cocina totalmente equipada. Plaza de parking en el edificio, algo que es de agradecer. Terraza y buenas vistas de la vivienda. Buena insonorización.

Como punto negativo diria que la limpieza puede mejorar y que estuvimos 4 dias y pedimos un juego de toallas mas y nos dijeron que teniamos que pagar por ellas.

Pese a esos pequeños detalles yo recomiendo la casa.

The great apartment in the center of Funchal. The location is perfect to go to different point in whole island. And there is perfect view from the windows.
They have a parking slot, that was so helpful for us (for small car).
The apartment is huge as for 2 person, with 2 bathroom, terrace, spacious leaving room, kitchen with all necessary staff.
The only one issue is the hood in the bathroom, that is not working appropriately
Also, we had a difficulties with check-in. All instructions was clear, but key locker worked bad and we can’t get our keys. Anyway, we got it and the rest of our stay was a pleasure for us.

The apartment was really nice, although as we entered it, the windows needed to be open for some fresh air. The host was very responsive and accommodating. There is construction happening which was not great but the apartment is lovely, light and got great utilities. Thank you!

Prinzipiell keine schlechte Wohnung im obersten Stockwerk mit schönem Ausblick und guter Lage nahe dem Fährhafen. Dennoch gibt es einige Unzulänglichkeiten. Derzeit ist unmittelbar gegenüber eine Baustelle, die permanent Lärm und Staub erzeugt, unerträglich. Der Vermieter gab auf unsere Beschwerde 10% Discount. Trotzdem trübte es unsere Urlaubsstimmung.
Das Appartement macht auf den ersten Eindruck einen hochwertigen Eindruck, viele Ausstattungsmerkmale (Grill, WM, Geschirrspüler, Toaster) sind i.O. Bei genauerem Hinschauen gibt es aber so einige Mängel, wie z.B. einen immens lärmenden Ventilator im Bad, eine unmöglich konstruierte Badtür (siehe Foto), sehr primitiver Wäscheständer, der jeden Moment auseinanderfallen könnte, keine Trockentücher in der Küche. Die zweite Schlafmöglichkeit konnten wir nicht nutzen, weil ein dazugehörenden Bettzeug fehlte !!! Für den Preis enttäuschend.

Could have been a nice stay minus the cleanliness or lack thereof. Housekeeping was late cleaning so I (unknowingly) checked in before they ever arrived. They showed up an hour and a half after check in and “cleaned” the place in 30 minutes. I ended up cleaning again myself after they left. Disappointed to say the least. Positives were safety and location.

Beautiful well furnished apartment. We were on the 3rd floor so had a partial view of the water.
It is a 10 min walk to the centre and the marina but there are restaurants and grocery stores nearby.The airport bus drop is 2 mins away.

We had a great stay here. The apartment was clean and spacious. We spend most of our time outside, but did enjoy the easy to use shades and temperature control when we were indoors. The only critique is that check in was a bit unclear - we had go into the apartment first to get the garage door opener to be able to park the car, which wasn't in the instructions. In terms of parking, definitely a tight spot but it was pretty easy as I had the passenger outside the car guiding me. For reference I rented a compact car, a Toyota Yaris.

Die Unterkunft liegt 15 Minuten zu Fuß von der Stadt entfernt. Blick auf den Hafen, das Casino. Tolle Bäckerei mit Kaffee gleich um die Ecke, ebenso viele leckere Lokale. Bushaltestelle keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.
War nicht schlimm, aber den Hinweis mit dem Kleinwagen und dem Parkplatz sollte man sich zu Herzen nehmen. Als wir dort waren, gab es 2 Baustellen, allerdings von 8-18 Uhr, was uns nicht weiter gestört hat.

We stayed 5 nights in the apartment.

The location is great, it's very close to the city center.

The parking spot in the garage is small, but after a day or so we learned how to manouver to park in and out.

The apartment was more or less clean, except for the bathroom, which had many dirty spots.

The instructions to the bin room were not clear. We reached out to the host about it, but they couldn't help us find the bin room, and instead, they entered the apartment without notifying us or asking for permission, and left another key on the table. I understand that they were trying to help, but we felt uncomfortable knowing that someone entered the apartment while we were not there. The new key didn't work either, because - as we found out later - the bin room wasn't in the garage (as per the description) but outside.

Overall, we had an okay experience, but there's some room for improvement regarding cleanliness and communication.

Fabulous location for us because we like to walk into town if at all possible and we are keen to attend cultural concerts and music events. The location of this apartment allowed all of the above, which we really liked about it. The apartment itself was clean, had fabulous views and had all of the basics one needs, toilet paper, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, small bottle of oil and vinegar. But no sugar. The only thing we found really tricky was parking the car in the garage. It is extremely difficult to get a small four door car into the parking space in the garage. We only used the garage for two nights and then decided to park the rental car, a small automatic 1.6L, 4 door Renault Megane, on the road. The garage space would probably fit a Fiat 500 or Smart car. Anything larger is a challenge.

This is a great, private apartment occupying the whole of the top floor of a small block. Being just off the main road means it is nice and peaceful but still close to everything you need. It’s great to have so many restaurants and cafes nearby so you don’t have to travel far after a day’s sightseeing. Or just sit on the wrap around balcony with a drink in hand and take in the view.

Lovely Airbnb, easy to walk around and park outside as we had large car, great cafes and restaurants around, amazing sea view, just like the photos. Very responsive hosts. We had our 4 yr old son with us and he loves having the parks and playground close by. Kitchen had everything we needed and very spacious apartment.

We loved the apartment. Its very spacious and the washing machine was helpful. We did laundry almost everyday. We ordered the breakfast and it was so much food it lasted us about 3 days. I recommend buying the breakfast if you want to eat quickly and get on with your day. We also bought the transportation service from the airport. Very helpful. The apt is walking distance to downtown in one direction and neighborhood restaurants in the other direction.

Anreise und Schlüsselübergabe per Code waren sehr unkompliziert, Kommunikation per Chat im Vorfeld war gut,
die Lage ist sehr gut, zentral, nah am Hafen und trotzdem ziemlich ruhig, wenig Lärm von der Straße, das Haus war sehr ruhig, direkte Nachbarn hat man nicht, man ist allein auf der Etage, der 4-Seiten-Balkon war großartig, jederzeit Sonnen- und Schattenplätze,
wir konnten die Garage nutzen, unser Mietwagen war zum Glück klein, kleiner Tipp: den Schlüssel für die Garage findet man erst im Appartement, man muss also bei Anreise zuerst an der Straße parken
Während unseres Aufenthaltes war die Klimaanlage defekt. Wir wurden aber im Vorfeld informiert und uns wurden 2 Ventilatoren zur Verfügung gestellt. Das fanden wir gut. Wir haben viele Fenster geöffnet, aber interessanterweise gab es trotz Atlantik die ganze Woche fast keinen Wind. Daher half das Lüften nicht viel. Es gab noch Außenjalousien, die wir genutzt haben. Insofern war es für uns auszuhalten, mit Klimaanlage wäre es perfekt gewesen.

The apartment was beautifully clean and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay! We also hired a car so it was very handy to have a secure parking space on site, hosts were very helpful, we didn’t need to ask for much as we already had more than enough information before check in! Room key obtained from the key safe outside as instructed, car park key fob is on a second set of keys inside the property.

The main outer door opens inward and the key turns clockwise. The appointment key does the same, but needs a little more effort on the final turn of the key.

The car parking does take some getting used to, but got the hang of it after a couple of attempts. I found it easier to turn the car around inside the car park and reverse into the space. We had a Renault Clio, but wouldn’t personally of fancied parking anything larger.

Apartment is spacious, modern and has a great view from the third floor. The bed mattress is firm, as mentioned in other reviews.

I would have no issues is staying again, should we ever return to Madeira.

Generally the apartment is not so expensive, but it is well equipped and close to all the relevant things in Funchal, and looks good, basically.
The balcony is not the best, very boring, maybe a roof could be good, and some better furniture.
It has an own parking plane on the -1 level, which is very convenient. But need to note that only a small car, for example a ( in our case) Fiat 500 can be able to park there, if it is longer and wider with approx 30 cm, than you have a headache how to park on the second place, where the slot is.
The bath had some molds in the corner, but i believe it is because there is no fan inside the bathroom, also on some corners the wall started to peel off, because of the water.

Anyway we can suggest it for two person in Madeira!
In our opinion it worth!

Wir waren von dieser Wohnung (Penthouse 3. Etage) absolut begeistert. Sehr zentral gelegen (gegenüber Casino) und fußläufig in die Stadt (10-15 Minuten, je nachdem wie gut man zu Fuss ist), mehrere Restaurants, Bäckerei, Supermarkt um die Ecke. Bäckerei mit Cafe und vielen Leckereien....
Wohnung sehr gut ausgestattet, tolle Küche! Waschmaschine auch vorhanden! Separate Toilette mit Waschbecken.
Wohnzimmer mit großem Bildschirm. Eine Seite total verglast mit großen Schiebetüren und automatischen Rolläden.
Aussicht Richtung Hafen, Lift und Tiefgarage. Mit einem kleinen Auto ist es etwas einfacher hineinzufahren. Mit einem größeren, muss man etwas mehr rangieren. Aber das ist auch nicht das wichtigste.
Natürlich stehen um das Penthouse auch Häuser (davon 2 hohe Gebäude, aber die haben nicht gestört).
Schöne Dachterrasse (um die ganze Wohnung herum). Was will man mehr....
Also absolut zu empfehlen.

- Modern looking. It looks like it was recently renovated. Really clean and the sent housekeeping over in the middle of the stay. The amazing balcony was the cherry on the cake

- amazing location. close to Funchal center, easy to get out of the city with a rental car. A lot of services in the neighborhood (Tip: just around the corner, in the street next to the fuel station are amazing food options, a bakkery, good restaurants, etc.)

- Staff responded fairly quick for questions
- We were with four persons, although advertised as suitable for 4. The apartment is a better fit for two persons. We didn't mind, but keep this in mind.

- Not enough ammenties. Things like toilet rolls, garbage bags, dishwasher tablets ran out extremely fast with four people.

- The spare duvet for the sleeping couch had stains. Luckily it was hot enough that we didn't needed it, but this was unfortunate.

- the balcony lights were not working and there was water leaking on the door frame of the toilet. Things like this prevents the stay to become perfect.

Petit bémol : le ménage n'était vraiment pas fait en profondeur. Autre bémol, indiqué certes, mais à prendre vraiment au sérieux : la place de parking n'est adaptée qu'aux petites voitures ET aux bons conducteurs qui savent manœuvrer. Je vous conseille d'aller y jeter un coup d'oeil avant de rentrer dans le parking avec la voiture. Nous avons réussi à nous y garer mais ce fut à chaque fois un moment assez stressant.

We had the most relaxing, wonderful holiday. The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped and very comfortable.

It really is I’m the perfect area, there are restaurants nearby but it’s less than 10 minutes into the old town and about 15 minutes into the newer, more built up area of the city. There is a great little bar about a 10 minute walk away (opposite the Pestana Carlton) called Pun Number 2 which is super friendly and does amazing sandwiches!

We walked for miles, all
the way down from Monte ( definitely wouldn’t recommend as it took our legs two days to fully recover). The walk back from Camara De Lobos is nice, there are plenty of little bars and restaurants to break up the journey.

We did a full day jeep safari of the West of the island, which was brilliant but for us the highlight was booking a local taxi driver to take us on a tour of the Num’s Valley, the North and East of the Island, we got to see things that you wouldn’t normally see if you
hired a car or tried to travel on public transport and his knowledge of the island and his obvious pride made it a very special trip.

If you’re shopping, avoid the Devine supermarket up the road, it’s prices are ridiculously expensive and the staff aren’t very helpful (a bottle of local beer over €2 but in a local bar €1), use Pingo Dolce or the smaller local (independent) shops instead, also avoid buying anything in the Farmers Market, it’s a total tourist trap with extortionate prices, uses local fruit shops.

The only minor things that weren’t perfect we that the internet was very slow and it would be great if the furniture on the balcony was updated but overall we absolutely loved the Island and the apartment and can’t wait to come back!

Had a great stay here. The apartment is huge, bright, well-equipped and clean – just as it appears in the photos.

This was my first time in Funchal and the location turned out to be perfect. In a quiet mainly residential area between the main centre and the lido areas.

Wi-Fi was not the fastest but reliable. I’d definitely stay here again.

Place is simply perfect! Location is very good, near to the very good cafeteria where you can have a breakfast, and few other restaurants. Funchal city center is like 10 minutes away by foot. Apartment has a great terrace around it, and all the things you need. Private parking place in the underground garage was also very nice addition. I had a very nice time, and recommend this place to everyone visiting Maderia :)

Lovely appartment central to all sights of funchal.
Modern and spacious.
Large wrap around balcony and all mod cons you need for living.
Only slight criticism is the out door furniture needs replacing
It is tired and worn.

Lovely appartment with fantastic surrounding balcony sun all day
Comfortable bed and all you need for appartment living for cooking,washing etc.
Left us few dishwasher and washing machine tablets.
Aslo coffee,salt pepper etc which was nice touch
We used the private transport with the company which was very efficien and reasonable.
Shops and restaurants near by.
Bit of a hill but their is bus stop near by and it is walking distance to everything.
Appartment very safe and secure
Funchal is a wonderful city .The local people are friendly and helpful.
As a piece of constructive criticism, the outside wooden furniture should be replaced. It has evident wear and tear with age unfortunately .
Also a sun recliner or sun lounger to make most of the beautiful weather would be wonderful.
We were afraid to use the umbrella incase it blew away!!

La situation à Funchal est idéal, proche du centre ville à pied, face au casino mais pour découvrir Madère en voiture c'est facile d'accès.
Commerces et restaurants proches. Vue sur la mer du balcon, reposante. Calme. Appartement très bien équipé. Bonne literie.Wifi au top.
Le garage est réellement un plus mais pour une petite voiture ( style panda par exemple).

Le garage en sous-sol est un plus, même s'il est petit. Vue magnifique. Espace. Très bien placé dans la ville, autant pour aller à pieds au centre que pour s'en échapper en voiture. Calme. Commerces et restaurant pas loin. Ménage fait au milieu de notre séjour avec changement de linge de toilette.
Nous y retournerons aisément.

Bij aankomst onduidelijk hoe te parkeren in de garage. Na telefonisch contact blijkt dat de sleutels hiervoor in het appartement liggen.

Upon arrival not clear how to open the garage. After contact by phone they explained that the remote was in the apartment. Share this with guests before they arrive. The garbage container was not easy to find.
The coffee machine is worthless. Water in the kitchen wasn’t getting warm. The shower wasn’t clean, mold every where. You need slippers to take a shower.

A wonderful and fully equipped apartment with everything you need for a short or long term stay in Madeira. We stayed for two weeks and loved the location and amenities it offered. The apartment is modern, well furbished and equipped (esp. the kitchen) and has a lovely view onto the ocean. The nearby park and the little cafe was our favourite spot to go to and other restaurants and an amazing bakery are right next door. The city centre of Funchal is in walkable distance and car parking is included so that you can park a rental car as well. We managed to fit a Citroen C3 into the parking spot but it is a rather narrow parking garage (mentioned in the description so this was no surprise). The airbnb is highly recommended for anyone interested in staying in the city and exploring the island into all directions. Check-in and out as well as all communication was very easy and all questions were answered immediately. Overall a very pleasant experience and positive recommendation, we would book again.

An ideal apartment for wishing to be located in town, with plenty restaurants , and an excellent bakery close at hand. Good views with the bonus of the all round balcony. The accommodation was furnished to a high standard and very clean. Only 2 small points. The outdoor furniture didn't meet the same standard as the indoors and if you have a car the garage is very difficult to get into. Our car was not big but we ended up parking outside which as its a busy area proved very difficult at times. Overall however we would strongly recommend this accommodation and hope to use it again.

Big, beautiful and well-equipped apartment with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The location is perfect. Walking distance to the hotel district and downtown.

Yes, the garage is on the small side. But we managed with a Citroen C4. Perhaps ask for a Fiat 500 or similar at the rental firm to make it easier for yourself.

Internet is a tad slow. Fast enough for your daily digital needs and to stream Netflix for sure. Too slow for digital nomads with bandwidth intense labour. I believe is was 13mbps down and 3mbps up.

Cleaning team comes every Sunday which was a welcome surprise.

We stayed here for 3 weeks and would have been glad to stay longer. It's a great place.

It's a nice apartment where we spent 4 weeks. The location is great, it's right in between the city centre and a nice Lido district. It also had facilities for the baby - a cot and a highchair which was super handy for us. On the downside, the communication was a bit slow when we had issues (e.g., we needed the keys for the parking, or were wondering why the cleaning service stopped all of a sudden). We also thought the price/value were not superb, as the apartment is relatively small and the cool balcony is not really equipped. Overall, it was a pleasant stay

Es ist eine traumhafte Wohnung mit einem sehr schönen Ausblick. Die Terrasse ist sensationell. Wir hatten sogar einen Stellplatz in der Tiefgarage und konnten mit dem Fahrstuhl direkt zur Wohnung fahren. Lichtdurchflutete Wohnung , offene Bauweise.
Die Ausstattung z.B . Es fehlen Sekt & Weingläser. Kein Salatbesteck, kein Besen und für diese riesige Terrasse zu wenige Sitzmöglichkeiten, Sonnenliege etc. Aber das jammern auf hohem Niveau.

This apartment is what you need if you want to be in the center of whole Madeira island.
All beautiful places of the city are close by.
All Madeira Island wonders are reachable in no more then 30-45 minutes if you have a car. Be sure you have a small size of car because parking spot is not big.
But you will get used to it quickly.

We are spent more then month in this apartment. No complaints at all!
Communication is top notch!
Our host Catarina is taking care of all needs in a few minutes.

Highly recommended place!

Lux is a wonderful apartment to stay in - modern and fresh with everything you need for any length of stay. The welcome was friendly and thorough and the view when you wake up the first morning was even better than hoped! The apartment is in a very good situation with the beautiful park nearby and only a 10 minute walk into Funchal centre. Funchal is full of wonderful restaurants - and the walk back up the hill to the apartment helps you feel you deserved that cake! There are some restaurants and a small supermarket plus an excellent cake shop 2 minutes from the apartment.

The car parking space is very tight but doable if you are patient and take it slowly. The hire car company gave us a Citroen C3 Aircrosser so if possible get something slightly smaller!

We would definitely recommend this apartment to any couple looking for accommodation in Funchal.

Our family had a great time in Funchal and really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Travel To Madeira went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Hospitality and communication were second to none. The location of the apartment was great, very central and was easy to walk to many restaurants and things to do. Would definitely recommend.

This apartment is exactly as the photos show. It is in a great location, spotlessly clean and Catarina who looked after our arrival and departure was lovely.
A small note of caution. Small car only means exactly that. Our very small car JUST fitted. If renting a car don’t allow yourself to be talked into a slightly larger car by the rental company!! Parking on the street is difficult.

The apartment is in a very handy location and the views from the balcony are beautiful.
The apartment was fitted with modern appliances throughout and was very clean. We give the apartment 5 stars for all amenities. The responses from our welcome host Karolina were quick and efficient. She made us feel very welcome.
There is a space in the garage for a car, but it needs to be fairly small as manoeuvring it into the space is a bit tricky. Our tip is to reverse the car in down the slope and into the garage/space. We had a Peugeot 308 and parked without much difficulty.
One point of caution is that the checkout time is restricted to latest 12 noon and at present cannot be extended. Neither is a there a place to leave your suitcases. Our flight was not until 2025hrs so we had to lug our cases around in the car, for several hours after leaving at midday.
We would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Funchal.

Loved our stay at this apartment.
Only five minutes walk from centre of Funchal.
The apartment was well equipped with washing machine, hairdryer, all cooking utensils you could want, plus a wrap around balcony with tables and chairs.
There is a lift up to the apartment as it is on the third floor.
There is a large supermarket about five minutes walk away which stays open till 10pm.
The bus stop is just across the road, and the view from the balcony is beautiful.
Loved this place and would definitely book it again.
The garage space which comes with the apartment is very small ,we hired a panda car and had enough problems trying to park that.
Got the hang of it in the end.

What a great apartment, 360degree balcony, with views of the sea and the hills. Well equipped kitchen, lovely living area. Bedroom with ensuite and aircon, very comfortable.
Short walk downhill to marina, and from there to old town, coming back the last 500m is uphill.
Area is very nice, with a lovely park nearby .
Bars and restaurants 50m from apartment.
Highly recommend this apartment, we could even watch the Atlantic Festival fireworks from the balcony.

Un appartement de toute beauté, bien mieux que sur les photos et une vue sur la mer magnifique. A 5 minutes du centre de Funchal à pied, vraiment l'endroit idéal pour un séjour à Madère.Je compte bien d'ailleurs y retourner dans quelques temps et dans le même appartement. Le seul défaut est la place de parking absolument inutilisable car impossible de s'y garer même avec une petite voiture.

This was an exceptional apartment. The wrap around balcony provided stunning views. Very central to all amenities and public transport. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Funchal Lux I. The flat is very modern top of the range with air conditioning so very convenient for Madeira's tropical weather. Joao was already waiting for us at the flat and check in couldn't have gone more smoothly.

Lovely apartment with an amazing view, top of the range flat with air con and a modern fully equipped kitchen. In an excellent location close to the city centre. The only negative points were the occasional ants and the walk-in shower in the bathroom which sometimes leaked water on to the floor. There isn't a bath tub.

Wir waren eine Woche im Februar da. Das Appartment ist in Realität noch besser als in der Beschreibung. Über 10 Meter Glas- und Balkonfront im Wohn- Esszimmer. Unverbauter Blick aufs Meer, großartig!
Das Appartment nimmt die ganze oberste Etage eines 3-stöckigen Neubaus ein. Der Balkon geht ums ganze Appartment.
Gut Kücheneinrichtung, gutes Bad, zweite Toilette, 2 Sofas und Balkonbestuhlung. dort kann man es lange aushalten..😎
Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit klasse Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
Einziger Wermutstropfen: die Tiefgarage ist nur für Kleinwagen geeignet, Einparken ist jedesmal eine Abenteuer gewesen. Man findet aber auch kostenlose Parkplätze auf der Strasse.

We loved the Funchal Lux 1 penthouse apartment. The location was ideal for us and we were able to very comfortably spend a three week holiday over the Christmas and New Year period. The apartment is fully equipped and the kitchen was ideal for a few simple home cooked meals, although there are so many excellent restaurants on your door step that it's tempting to eat out every night!
Franciso was excellent and we appreciated his fast response to a couple of plumbing and electrical issues we experienced while staying.
I'd certainly stay in this apartment again and highly recommend it.

Don't hesitate to stay in this apartment. It really is as good as it looks in the photos. We stayed for three weeks over Christmas and into the New Year so we were looking for something a bit special that would be essentially be a home from home for our extended stay. The location of the apartment is ideal - just a short stroll into central Funchal. There are coffee shops and lovely restaurants right on the doorstep and the bus stop for the local yellow Funchal bus service is right across the road. The view is excellent and we had a glorious view of the New Year fireworks from the apartment. It's spotlessly clean and with the fully eqippped kitchen we were able to keep up to date with laundry and even cook a few simple evening meals. A special thank you to Francisco who dealt with our delayed arrival graciously and who responded to a couple of small issues with plumbing and electrics very quickly.

This apartment is incredible, probably the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Francisco welcomed us and had plenty of recommendations around the island. The apartment was very luxurious, bed was comfortable, and the balcony had amazing panoramic views. Only downside was the tight parking space in the garage, so just make sure your rental vehicle is small. Don’t hesitate to book, we would certainly stay here again.
