Close to the beach and seafront promenade, this nice apartment is close to everything you need for your vacation.

Your holidays are already booked and Madeira was your choice to recharge your energy, with rest and good mood. Here you have the perfect choice for a calm and restful holiday, in a great location and with a nice decoration.

This friendly and modern apartment is in the center of the tourist area of Funchal, where there are several hotels, restaurants, shops, bathing/pool complexes and a fantastic promenade where you can end the day with a relaxing stroll.
The apartment has a simple and neat decoration, thinking in your comfort and well-being! With one bedroom, with double bed, living room with a bed sofa and a bathroom; the house can accommodate a maximum of four people.
Next to the living room has a balcony where you can dinner or continue reading the book you have chosen for these holidays.
The property has all the amenities and a parking place (depending on availability).

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
After a day touring the island, there is nothing better than return home for a rest. But not without first savoring the delicacies of Madeira, available in the various restaurants near the building.
The renovated Lido beach, restored in May 2016, is only in a ten minutes walk from the apartment. If you want to explore the another bathing complex, you can enjoy the Ponta Gorda (ten minutes walk). Both offer swimming pools, access to the sea and restaurant. Praia Formosa, typical for pebbles and black sand, is about 5 minutes by car.
In the surrounding area there is a supermarket of medium size and other services.

GETTING AROUND
A aerobus stop for airport arrivals and departures is within two minutes walk distance from the flat. Nevertheless, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to all areas of the flat.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We are always at your disposal to help or to answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.

ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

The apartment itself was nice. But lacking some cleaning: dirty floor and hairs on the sofa, in the bathroom. I contacted the host and he promised to make some cleaning on the next day. Nobody showed up and we had to stay the rest 3 days in the dirt.

Skvěle vybavený apartmán. V polovině pobytu jsme dostali čisté ručníky a byl vynesený odpad. Terasa velmi prostorná s výhledem na moře. Ideální místo na snídani, či večeři.
Parkování u apartmánu bylo pořád obsazené. Naštěstí v okolí bylo dost parkovacích míst.

My stay in Madeira was overall a pleasant experience and definitely a nice place to settle in while exploring the area. The accommodation was comfortable and met all my expectations. However, there was a slight hiccup with the neighbors being a bit noisy at times. Despite having to knock on their door a few times, I eventually found a humorous and effective solution: a few quick knocks on the floor seemed to do the trick! 😂

Lovely balcony with sea view and very large, comfortable bed. Location was also really convenient....2-3 minutes walk to sea and near lots of nice restaurants.
Shower is VERY small but just about doable. Unfortunately the neighbours upstairs have a very noisy toddler who stays up quite late (midnight) and is noisy all day long. If you plan to be out and about during the day and you are a night owl, then it may not bother you. But I like to go to bed around 10-10:30 so had to sleep with earplugs. The apartment is really nice other than that!

Die Größe des Apartments war toll,besonders der Große Balkon! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Auch dass gleich ein Supermarkt vor der Tür war, war mega praktisch.
Die Dusche ist sehr klein und schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen, die müsste wirklich erneuert werden!
Wir,als auch andere Gäste haben extra nochmal nachgefragt ob ein Ofen in der Küche ist. Das wurde mehrfach bejaht, aber es war kein Ofen vorhanden!
Die Parkplatzsituation ist eine Katastrophe! Die Parkplätze sind viel zu klein für die meisten Mietautos, außerdem war ständig alles besetzt.Auch außerhalb war abends oft nichts zu finden,so dass wir teilweise eine halbe stunde immer wieder im Kreis fahren mussten!Auch die Belieferung des Supermarkts läuft über den Parkplatz,so wie die Mitarbeiter die da auch noch parken.Es kam wie es kommen musste: am Abreisetag wurden wir zugeparkt! 6 Uhr morgens und wir mussten zum Flughafen! Wir hatten Glück die Mitarbeiterin noch rechtzeitig zu finden!

We take your comments regarding the shower and we apologise for the misunderstanding and the inconvenience however we are trying to discuss this issue to the owner. We are constantly working to improve our facilities and make the stay as pleasant as possible for our guests. About the oven.. the microwave also has an oven option. You should have checked the situation better or asked us for help.

Unfortunately, we cannot always influence the car park situation and we advertise at the property description that it's subject to availability. However, we take your criticism very seriously and will endeavour to communicate this better in future and find solutions.

Despite these points, we hope to welcome you back in the future and thank you again for your honest feedback.

With a 45 minute walk into central Funchal, this property is well situated and well connected to desirable locations. A short walk to nearby lido spots, as well as many bars and restaurants. Notably there is a large supermarket in the same building!
Very clean and nicely air conditioned. Well worth it.

Unser Aufenthalt in dem Apartment belief sich auf 7 Nächte. Wir möchten zukünftige Reisende gerne über folgendes informieren:

Vorteile:
- gute Infrastruktur (Supermarkt/Bus/viele Restaurants etc. in der Nähe)
- gute Ausstattung (Küche mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, Waschmaschine, schöner Balkon)
- Lage zur Innenstadt (ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß)
- Klimaanlage (ein Muss im Sommer)

Nachteile:
- marodes Badezimmer mit dringendem Sanierungsbedarf (Dusche mit wenig Wasserdruck, Abfluss des Waschbeckens riecht nach Kanalisation, Toilettendeckel nicht ordnungsgemäß montiert)
- extrem laute Nachbarn (der Nachbar in der Wohnung darüber schaut bis früh um 5 Uhr so laut Fernsehen als ob man im Kino sitzt, schlafen unmöglich)
- Geruch/Lärm auf dem Balkon (häufig riecht es nach Kanalisation, ganztägig befahrene Straßen darunter mit starken Abgasen)
- Tür zum Apartment lässt sich nur schwer öffnen

Unserer Ansicht nach ist das Preis-Leistungsniveau unter diesen Umständen nicht gerechtfertigt.

The apartment was really close to restaurants and supermarkets and had sea view from the terrace. The photos are accurate to reality. The apartment was clean and modern and was well equipped. The staff answered to all our queries nicely and quickly.

Muy bien ubicado, cerca de restaurantes y comercios y con vistas al mar desde la terraza.
Apartamento moderno y bien equipado. Aunque no conocimos en persona a los dueños, tanto por teléfono como por mensaje nos contestaban rápido y nos facilitaban toda la información y recomendaciones durante nuestra estancia
La presión del agua de la ducha no era muy fuerte y la ducha era un poco pequeña para nuestro gusto, por el resto todo perfecto

The rooms are bright and overall would be a nice place if not for all the bad experiences there...
The apartment was very dirty when we arrived. Which got kinda solved the next day, but beside the bed, every textil surface (couch, outdoor couch, chair) was very dirty with lot's os different spots on them.

The toilet had really heavy stains in there, the toilet lids were also not cleaned at all.

The shower is horrible, it is a very small box, with an extra glass shelf in there, I could barely turn around or pick up a bottle of shampoo from the floor. It is also very dirty...

The water pressure is a joke. If any other water is running in the apartment, the shower nearly does not even turn on. The pressure shower functions are completely unusable overall.

Even when only the shower is turned on, the water pressure is still a very frustrating experience.

The upper neighbors are constantly stomping around very loudly (which is not something you can do about), but you could at least notify us on booking beforehand that there is some autistic daycare or autistic person is living above you. (Literally! There is a sign on their door about it). This would not be a problem if we would know about it, so we would have a choice to accept it or look for another place!!!!!!

The balcony would be nice, but the dirtiness continues here with the old ultra dirty wooden table and chairs!
Also a lot of bird poop, which did not get cleaned up at all.

There is also in addition to all this, the balcony is really stinky, because there is a constant pee smell and lots of restaurant burnt oil smells coming up there.

In short, I would never recommend this place in it's current state.

Very good apartment for a couple share the bed. Very nice location.
The neighbours upstairs are a bit noisemakers. The shower is very poor. Needs to be replace urgently to become at the same level to the flat.

Wspaniały taras z wypoczynkiem i widokiem na ocean. Mieszkanie przestronne, łóżko bardzo wygodne. Duże szafy z wieszakami. Dodatkowy plus za rolety zaciemniające.

Квартира выглядела как на фотографии, - красивая, светлая, чистая, из окон видно море, большая терраса, на которой приятно позавтракать или поужинать.
В квартире имеется в рабочем состоянии бытовая техника (плита, стиральная машина, свч печь, посудомоечная печь), около дома есть парковка.
Расположение - вторая линия от моря, в шаговой доступности променад, рестораны, кафе, магазины.
Отзывчивые сотрудники, мы прилетели раньше времени заселения и смогли заселиться без ожидания.
Крайне негативный опыт использования душевой, напор очень маленький, горячей воды на двух человек хватает только если мыться очень-очень быстро, кроме того душевая кабина старая и очень-очень маленькая, мыться очень неудобно.
Центральное расположение дает не только преимущества, но и недостатки, очень большая шумность от людей, сидящих в кафе и ресторанах, и от мотоциклистов, гоняющих на дороге перед окнами.

a few issues at the start of our stay with wifi/tv, resolved quickly. Some neighbour noise from above. Resolved. The shower is usable but needs to be renewed. Otherwise, a great place to stay. We enjoyed the apartment, the balcony & the area. We particularly liked the kitchen as we like to cook .

The apartment is really newly renovated and it has the perfect size for a couple or a family with 1-2 kids. The main bed is really big and comfortable and the sofa bed is also quite comfortable. The balcony is big and exactly as shown in the pictures. It is nice to have a drink on it in the evening. The kitchen has everything needed and has a dishwasher as well as a washing machine. There is an elevator to the apartment so it is also ok with a stroller to be in the 2nd floor. There is a supermarket right below and nice restaurants around.
The apartment was really clean except for the shower glass. The shower was quite small and the water pressure low which could also be a building topic. There is a parking space next to the apartment building where only residents can enter. It is quite tight, we are no parking gurus so we were not able to park our seat leon. However the locals parked all kind of cars there. We can recommend the place.

We have lived in this building four times in different apartments - and this apartment is also nice. It’s light and have all the accessories you need. However the bathroom needs a makeover and the shower needs to be replaced. The noise outside in the night is very loud - but the most disturbing noise is the loud 24 hours every day from the apartment above.

We have now stayed at this property twice and HIGHLY recommend it for the cleanliness, the fact that the location absolutely cannot be beat and the fact that An Island is great to work with. And, if you have trouble sleeping when there is a fair amount of noise, this may not be the place for you. There is nothing An Island can do, but a local bar across the street is simply loud - late into the night. Also, one of the neighbors has small children and there is a fair amount of noise from them. That being said, if you can put up with a bit of noise, this is a great place that is comfortable, located near excellent restaurants and public transportation. Plus, there is a small grocery store downstairs that is incredibly convenient!

The flat is in a great location and quite easy to get to from the airport (Aerobus stop 16). There is Pingo Doce supermarket in the very same building, with its own self-service restaurant, which is a great option for travellers on a tight budget. The flat is spacious and clean and the terrace is absolutely superb. The only thing that could be changed in the flat is the shower unit, which is so tiny that you can barely move inside. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in the flat and would definitely come here again planning another trip to Madeira. However, one has to be aware that it's a block of flats, which sometimes might mean noises coming from surrounding flats (running children upstairs, loud TV downstairs in the flat belonging to an old deaf lady). But you can always go to your neighbour and ask him/her politely to keep quiet and it will surely be respected.

The shower is uncomfortable, too small and there is little water pressure. If you have long hair it will take forever to wash your hair. We were in appartement 203 and the neighbors in the appartement above are extremely loud till middle of the night. It is very annoying. We were there one week, but after 3 days we had to ask for clean towels. I believe the owner expect us to wash our towels or use them for a whole week. Then we got 2 clean ones for 4 people. There was not enough toilet paper so we bought our own. However it is a small thing, it is not what we expected. Overall I would not recommend this appartement.

We do not recommend this appartement, but there are a few plusses. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a big fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and water boiler. The beds are good and we enjoyed the balcony. The appartement is nearby the beach, supermarket is below the appartement, near shopping mall Forum and near lido tours that we highly recommend. The busstation is nearby too and takes you everywhere. We are a family of four of which 2 children of 15 and 13 years old.
The plusses do not outweigh the minusses so that is why we do not recommend this appartement.
The shower is very uncomfortable, too small and there is little water pressure. If you have long hair it will take forever to wash your hair. We were in appartement 203 and the neighbours in the appartement above are extremely loud till middle of the night. They have small children who seem to be awake and running through the house on all hours of the day.

So we texted him again.
The other 2 towels were brought very quickly but no message back from the owner. I find that a bit rude to not answer anything. One other small thing: There was not enough toilet paper so we bought our own. However it is a small thing, it is not what we expected. Overall I would not recommend this appartement.

Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit in Ihrer Unterkunft. Die Wohnung ließ uns wie zuhause fühlen. Sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es war alles da was man braucht.
Das einzige, das gestört hat, war die Hellhörigkeit der Wohnung. In den Wohnungen über uns wurde auch noch spät abends (23:00-24:00 Uhr) sehr laut getrampelt und teilweise gebrüllt - und das leider jeden Tag. Tagsüber hat uns dies nicht gestört, da wir immer unterwegs waren. Aber wer vollkommene Ruhe sucht, sollte sich weiter außerhalb eine Unterkunft suchen.
Ansonsten hatten wir eine ganz tolle Zeit in Ihrem Apartment und auf der wundervollen Insel Madeira!

An excellent choice if you are looking for a place to stay in Funchal! A couple of things about this location which made it ideal for us. It isn't located directly in the old town, but rather along the Lido Promenade area. We liked being close to town (7-8 minutes by bus), but also a 10 minute walk from the Forum shopping center, as well as surrounded by some great restaurants. The apartment itself was great and very comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and evening. In the interest of full disclosure, there are a couple of things you should know. First, this apartment is offered by a management company - not at all a problem and everything worked like clockwork, but if you are looking for a way to get to know someone personally, then this would not be for you. Also, there was a good bit of noise from the adjoining apartment. It didn't really both us, but if you are looking for quiet, it is something to consider. Finally, the water pressure in the shower was low. Probably a building issue, not the apartment, but something of which to be aware. All in all, a great place in a great area.

Beautiful flat, very clean and central with lots of restaurant very close, and walking distance to a beach. The ad says that there's a washing machine and dish washer in the flat, but to detergent or cleaning powder was to be found inside the flat so we either had to buy our own (waste of money for a short stay). I pointed this out but didn't get a good answer back. There was just basic soap and hand washing detergent included, and we didn't have enough toilet paper for our stay so had to purchase more in the middle of the week. But otherwise had a great stay in the flat and the hosts were responsive to our other queries.

O apartamento é exatamente como mostram as fotografias. Ficámos aqui por uma semana e foi ótimo. A localização é perfeita, com supermercado mesmo ao pé do edifício, além de restaurantes para todos os gostos, desde uma simples pizzaria até um restaurante com duas estrelas Michelin. Há também na zona um excelente complexo balnear, onde você pode nadar nas águas do Atlântico. Quando regressar a Madeira, voltarei a ficar neste apartamento. Recomendo.

Apartment was very nice, clean on arrival, had everything needed. Plenty of crockery if you are with family and wish to eat in. One thing I would say is shower cubical could be little bigger as hubby hit his head few times on small shelf inside. Great location for getting around Funchal, plenty of restaurants and bars around.
But overall had a very good experience would recommend to others and will stay again hopefully.

Great location, Supermarket in the building. Very nicely decorated and comfy. Plenty of restaurants in close proximity. Perfect terrace with dining table and seating area.
Shower was terrible, water pressure was bad and the shower was too small. There was a lot of noise but that didn't bother us but if you are looking for quiet appartment this isn't it.

Spent 2 weeks in Lido ll had a very enjoyable time there. This was or 9th time visiting Funchal & decided to try an apartment this time. The apartment had everything we needed as we went out to restaurants to eat. Balcony was great for sitting & relaxing in the sun with a glass of wine. We found the apartment to be clean & looked after. Some super restaurants nearby: Dona Nina, llhakaffa (stones throw away) & O Dragoeiro. All in all a relaxing holiday & at weather.

The apartment was immaculately presented, very clean, light, airy and stylish. There's aircon in the bedroom and the sitting room which is really handy. It was a lovely big balcony and the ideal space for breakfast, sun bathing or a cold beer. We were able to check in early which was really useful, Filipa checked us in and she showed us where everything was and explained anything we needed to know. There is limited parking in the apartment blocks car park and you need a fob to get in so we needed to park on the street when we first arrived as the fob is kept in the apartment.
The location is great, just a 40 minute walk into town or 15 minutes along the prom to Praia Formosa. There's a handy supermarket below the apartment as well as a post office and there are plenty of places to eat out along Estrada Monumental, we recommend Chalet Vicente for a great steak! We would definitely stay there again.
