Recently renovated, this apartment has been decorated with perfection and quality, to give you a calm and relaxing holiday experience with all that you deserve!
Modern and stylish, this apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, a living room with bed sofa, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, going to meet all your needs. The property can accommodate up to six people.
As a home is not only made from the interior space, you can take advantage of the balcony to relax in the hottest days, the taste of refreshing drink or have breakfast.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Guests have easy access to several restaurants in the surrounding area. There are several bars and cafés nearby the building. Most shops, shopping centres and supermarkets are a five to ten-minute walk away.
This flat is situated fifteen minutes away to the famous Farmers’ Market (Mercado dos Lavradores), the historic centre of Funchal (locally known as ‘Zona Velha’) and the Cathedral. From here you can explore by foot many of the main tourist attractions of our beautiful town. (e.g. The Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc ...)
GETTING AROUND
We recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport!

Guests have access to all areas of the flat.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We are always at your disposal to help or to answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Ein 90 m² großes Apartment, mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Eine helle, freundliche Und geschmackvoll Einrichtung runden alles ab.
Man war in 15 Minuten zu Fuß in der Altstadt. Kleine Supermärkte sind fußläufig erreichbar.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass die Agentur sofort reagiert hat, wenn man Hilfe benötigte!
Kleiner Wermutstropfen war, das ist kein deutsches Fernsehprogramm gibt. Das hätte uns einen Regentag ein bisschen angenehmer gemacht…

El apartamento es muy amplio y cómodo. 2 habitaciones amplias, 2 baños, un salón grande y una cocina enorme, además de dos terrazas y una despensa. Está situado a unos 15-20 minutos del centro de Funchal. Para moverse por la isla es perfecto y además tiene garaje incluido que es imprescindible.
La cama del cuarto principal hacia muchísimo ruido con un mínimo movimiento y las otras dos camas son pequeñas. Tuvimos un pequeño problema en el apartamento que no solucionaron de la mejor manera. Además, les pedimos que nos pusieran más aceite y papel higiénico (nos dijeron previamente que teníamos lo básico) y fueron muy tacaños.
La cama del cuarto principal hacia muchísimo ruido con un mínimo movimiento y las otras dos camas son pequeñas. Tuvimos un pequeño problema en el apartamento que no solucionaron de la mejor manera. L’appartement est bien situé ,
C’est un très bel appartement . Propre où il ne manque rien (ou un aspirateur peur être…)
Le parking souterrain avec sa place privative est très pratique !
Le seul problème a été le lit double : nous avions demandé avant d’arriver si il avait été changé par rapport aux précédents commentaires. On nous a dit qu’il avait été réparé. Mais il s’avère qu’il grinçait énormément. Au moindre mouvement , on entendait le lit grincer. Nous avons contacté l’hôte pendant notre séjour qui nous a tout de même proposé de venir le resserrer. Mais ce n’était pas pratique car nous étions à l’appartement que le soir.
Ça aura été le seul point négatif du séjour . Malgré le fait qu’il soit important quand même !

Amazing apartment in the centre of Funchal, it’s within walking distance to many restaurants and the port. You do have to open the lockbox and enter the apartment first to then access the parking garage which was tricky with how tight the Madeira streets are lack of street parking

Die Whg. liegt an einer vierspurigen Hauptstraße in zweiter Reihe. Der kostenlose Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage kann erst nach dem Einchecken benutzt werden. Die Whg. liegt im 2. OG und ist von der Tiefgarage gut zu erreichen. Die Mülltrennung in der Tiefgarage funktioniert nicht. Die Whg. hat eine eine große Küche mit einem Hochtisch und vier Hochstühlen. Eine Waschmaschine mit Wäschetrockenständer befindet sich an der Küche. Das Wohnzimmer hat ein Sofa für 3 Personen, sowie ein Sessel, ebenso wie ein Esszimmertisch mit 4 Stühlen (1 wackelig). Der Tisch auf dem Balkon ist wackelig, wenig Platz zum Frühstück. Ausblick gg. eine Hauserwand von anderen Wohnungen des Nachbarhauses. Wohnzimmer und die Schlafzimmer haben Klimaanlage. 1 SZ mit Ankleidebereich und Badezimmer mit Dusch-/Badewanne. 1 Badezimmer mit Dusche. Supermarkt 1 km bergauf, Bäckerei mit Vollkornbrötchen 600m bergab (Pharmacia, rechts rein, 50m). Kiosk mit hellen Brötchen 100m bergab.

Firstly Madeira is a lovely island to visit.
The accomodation was very central with your own private parking and within waking distance to restaurants and bars .

Great apartment, walking distance to Funchal. The master bathroom was leaking when we arrived. The plumber came quickly. A/C in all rooms, lovely balcony space, well equipped. Hard to figure out the entrance/garage so good to ask beforehand for detailed instructions

L’appartement était bien, tel que décrit sur les photos. Climatisation, quelques petits ingrédients de base pour cuisiner. Il était en revanche assez loin du centre ville à 20 minutes a pied ( en monté). Le parking était parfait.

Wir können die Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Es ist eine schöne große Wohnung mit tollem Parkplatz direkt am Gebäude. Check In klappt wunderbar und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ebenfalls. Auch die Ausstattung in der Wohnung ist top. Was ich aber anmerken muss, ist das große Bett im Schlafzimmer, welches bei jeder kleinen Bewegung knarrt und Geräusche macht. Ebenfalls ist es ziemlich hellhörig und in der Nachbarschaft öfter mal laut Abends.

Só tenho elogios para o An Island Apartment. A localização é fantástica, sendo perto do centro, 10 min a caminhar, mas ao mesmo tempo silencioso e fora da região mais agitada. O estacionamento é muito útil. O apartamento é extremamente confortável e bem equipado. Pude ter grandes momentos com meus amigos. Recomendo sem dúvidas!

Cons:
Due to the close proximity of the apartment across the street, it's a bit dim. But the main issue that needs to be addressed: the double bed in the bedroom will squeak. Every night when I turn from side to side, I wake up. For this reason, I didn't sleep well.
Pros:
The location is very good, with a large supermarket 800 meters up, a promenade 1km down, and many restaurants. There is parking available for cars. There is an oven where we cooked fish every day.
Overall, my experience is positive. I would return to this place again, but please do something about the bed so it doesn't squeak.

Die Wohnung entspricht exakt den veröffentlichten Fotos, ist schön, geräumig und hat eine super Ausstattung. Besonders die Klimaanlage hat bei heißen Temperaturen einen guten Dienst geleistet.
Bei einer unabsehbaren Unangenehmlichkeit bezüglich der Wohnung haben wir via Nachricht sofort eine Antwort bekommen und einen Lösungsvorschlag. Die Kommunikation funktioniert somit sehr gut.
Die Wohnung können wir alles in allem nur weiterempfehlen!

-Could provide newer towels. The provided ones are a little bit worn out. Extra towel - 10 EUR. Anyway, there is a washing machine.
-Shower gel. Not an allergic person but got an allergic reaction. Probably too many artificial ingredients since it had a very strong smell of perfume and an artificial colour.
-Could provide few bags of tea, coffee capsules for the arrival.
-A little bit dark. Difficult to apply mascara :)

Apartmán je prostorný, má dvě koupelny, plně vybavenou kuchyň, nic nám nechybělo. Využili jsme i pračku a sušák, parádní je i vlastní místo v garáži. Wifi jela bezvadně.

Jedyne co można poprawić to lepsza instrukcja jak i gdzie parkować samochode.. Parking podziemny więc dostać się można do niego po otrzymaniu dopiero kluczy.

Very large spacious apartment. It was very clean and well decorated. Although I didn’t cook at the apartment, the kitchen was well equipped. Housecleaning came in weekly and they did a excellent job.

Wszystko znakomicie. Wszystkie niezbędne sprzęty pralka, zmywarka, piekarnik, toster czyste i zadbane. Pościel i poduszki - bez zarzutu. W połowie pobytu odbyło się sprzątanie z wymianą pościeli. Przekazanie kluczy przez sejf, sprawnie z instrukcją filmową. Wygodnie i przestrzennie. Bardzo polecam.
Odległość do brzegu oceanu / portu to około 15-20 min pieszo- z górki. Gorszy jest powrót - pod górkę. Można kupić tanie bilety na komunikację miejską która działa sprawnie, a autobusy podjeżdżają często.

The apartment offers great value for money. It is spacious, well-equiped and conveniently located with the city-center being only a 15 minutes walk away. The check-in/out procedure was clearly described and we experienced no diffuculties. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We can definitely recommend this accomodation for a holiday in Madeira.

The apartment is big and beautiful. Convenient for access on foot to the center while being well located for access to the main axes of the island. The equipment and the cleanliness are top, the service with towel change during the week is a plus. Only the residence is a bit noisy during the day (dog barking).

Appartement très agréable et spacieux, conforme à l’annonce, dans un quartier proche du centre (10-15 mn à pieds) avec parking sous terrain très appréciable. Seul bémol : plusieurs chiens dans les immeubles alentours qui aboyaient en permanence.
Bonne communication avec le gérant immobilier qui a remplacé rapidement la plaque de cuisson défaillante

Toller Monatspreis für ein tolles grosses Appartement. Super schöne grosse Küche mit separatem Waschraum. Grosser Fernseher mit genialem Satelliten Empfang und Balkon mit Ausblick in schönen gepflegtem Innenhof. Ebenfalls war die Wohnung sehr stylisch eingerichtet, was uns super gut gefallen hatte. Wir hatten einige Mängel in der Wohnung die durch Fabio von Island Apart behoben werden konnten. Leider waren die Matratzen ( mit Metallfedern ) für uns sehr unbequem, was die Freude am Appartement jede Nacht trübte. Wäre toll gewesen wenn Island Apart uns da mit Matratzen- Topper hätte helfen können, laut Fabio war das nicht möglich.

Gostei imenso da localização, conforto e limpeza do apartamento.
Correspondeu às minhas expectativas e possivelmente no futuro voltarei a reservar este apartamento.
O suporte dos colaboradores foi sempre excelente.
Não gostei do facto de terem mudado a chave do apartamento e não terem avisado. Demorei imenso tempo a fazer o self Check-In, e fiquei até preocupado, pois como já foi a uma hora tardia, corri o risco de ficar sem acesso ao apartamento na primeira noite. Acabaram por atender e deram um código de acesso, que podia ter sido logo dado antes de chegar ao alojamento.
Os utensílios de cozinha podem ser melhorados, podem colocar mais coisas, pois tem imenso espaço, e para cozinhar para famílias seria ideal.
Correspondeu às minhas expectativas e possivelmente no futuro voltarei a reservar este apartamento.

Primeira o colchão de casal era muito mole o que originou muito mau dormir,
Segunda um dos predios vizinhos têm um cão que a partir das 6h da manhã começa a ladrar intensamente que para descansar é impossível.

A apartamento e as comodidades correspondem à descrição. É um apartamento bem decorado e moderno. O espaço é agradável e generoso. Adoramos a nossa estadia neste apartamento. A equipa de Travel To Madeira esteve sempre disponível e as comunicações foram quase imediatas. Muito obrigado.

Apartamento muito agradável para passar uns dias no Funchal. Um pouco afastado do centro para ir a pé, mas ainda é possível caminhar até lá. É um local ideal para quem aluga carro, acessos muito fáceis e tem garagem. Fomos muito bem recebidos e as dicas de restaurantes foram ótimas.

Wat een mooi verblijf! Paar dagen voor aankomst werd er gevraagd wanneer we ongeveer aan zouden komen, zodat er iemand op ons zou wachten. Omdat het appartementencomplex boven een ziekenhuis is stond de man voor de ingang te wachten en heeft ons wegwijs gemaakt. Het appartement voldoet aan alle verwachtingen. Het was super ingericht en je had alles wat je nodig had. Dit is echt een aanrader! Alles was super!

Wir haben eine Woche zu viert in einer super sauberen, schön eingerichteten Wohung verbracht. Die Dekoration und Möbel waren geschmackvoll, die Ausstattung (Geschirr etc.) besser als in vielen Wohnungen, wo wir schon waren. Sogar Toilettenpapier, Spülmittel... haben für die ganze Woche gereicht. Der Balkon ist nett, der Parkplatz sehr sinnvoll. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen.
Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder in dieser Wohnung Urlaub machen.
Madeira ist eine Reise wert!

Limpeza irrepreensível. Apartamento moderno e confortável. Todas as comodidades anunciadas estavam a funcionar. O lugar de garagem é uma mais valia preciosa. O nosso anfitrião esteve sempre contactável e disponível para responder a todas as nossas dúvidas e muito atencioso na disponibilização de todas as informações solicitadas (v.g. aluguer de carro, transporte para aeroporto). Recomendo vivamente!

Sea, Sun and « Travel To Madeira » !!!!!
Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Francisco qui a su être patient malgré notre arrivée tardive.
L’appartement d’André est parfaitement conforme aux photos. Il est d’une grande propreté et est équipé et décoré avec grand soin. Il offre également une place de parking, ce qui est un grand avantage lorsque vous louez une voiture.
Lors de notre séjour (plus d’une semaine), l’équipe du ménage est passé nous rendre visite : nos draps ont été changés, les serviettes de toilette ont été remplacées,... Un service haut de gamme chez « Travel To Madeira ».
Concernant l’emplacement, l’appartement est très bien situé : tout près de toutes les commodités (hypermarché, pharmacies, clinique, et bien sûr un quartier rempli de restaurants en tout genre !).
Nous recommandons cet appartement sans hésiter et remercions André pour sa réactivité et la confiance qu’il nous a accordée.

O apartamento é bonito, moderno e “leve”. Foram muito flexíveis para nos receberem tarde, perdemos o avião e chegámos bastante mais tarde do que era suposto. Assim como aquando da saída, se prestaram a deixar-nos fazer late check-out e a ficar-nos com a bagagem para podermos aproveitar a nossa estadia ao máximo. A localização também é muito boa, central no Funchal.
