This apartment is in the center of Funchal, just a 10-15 minute walk from the traditional market and the marina. It features two spacious bedrooms with queen-size beds, two bathrooms, and a fantastic, ample outdoor space perfect for enjoying the good weather, sunbathing, or sharing a meal with friends and family. If you wish to rent a car, the building offers a garage for parking. The apartment is large and fully equipped with all amenities. THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW Located right in the city center, you’ll find points of interest everywhere. Funchal Cathedral and the Old Town are just 10 minutes away. Nearby, there are supermarkets, shops, bakeries, restaurants for all tastes, terraces, museums, gardens, and the city bay and promenade—ideal for ending the day. GETTING AROUND The best way to reach the apartment is by transfer. We can book one with our local partners, which is cheaper than airport taxis. For an eco-friendly and stylish option, you can book a transfer in a TESLA MODEL S “Full Electric.” GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the property. GUEST INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer your questions via mobile or email and will do our best to accommodate all requests. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests must present a valid ID (passport or identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 48 hours before arrival, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability. - Bed linen and towels are provided. A cot, high chair, and baby bath can be arranged if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and blanket in all properties. ATTENTION A Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in Funchal: €2.00 per person/night (aged 13+), up to 7 nights (€14.00 max per person/stay). Upon arrival, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Please be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee. Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
