Situated in a quiet residential street in Garajau, this apartment is ideal to relax in with a nice garden and sea view. It is just about 10 minutes by car from Funchal centre and it is also conveniently located for visiting other parts of the Island. This apartment is located in Garajau, 10 minutes by car to city centre of Funchal and accommodates 4 people. It has 2 bedrooms, one with 1 double bed and the other with 2 single beds. It has 1 bathroom and a garden with hammock chairs to relax in the sun. The apartment is big and fully equipped with all modcons - dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, TV plus free wireless internet and a free-parking space. THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW Renting a car at the airport is probably the best option to enjoy the freedom of discovering the Island on your own and returning to a quiet apartment with a private garden at the end of the day. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (e.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior to arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All necessary linens and towels are provided. A cot, high chair and baby's tub can be arranged if necessary. We have a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and an anti-fire blanket on all properties. ATTENTION We inform that a Municipal Tourist Ecotax will be charged for persons staying overnight in the municipality of Santa Cruz. All guests staying in tourist developments and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum 7 nights stay (€14 per person). Close to your arrival, you will receive the link to pay this fee. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee. Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
