This comfortable one-bedroom flat, located at the entrance to the Port of Funchal, is ideal for up to four people. With one bedroom, two single beds and a sofa bed, it guarantees enough space for all guests. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and offers all the practicality and comfort needed for your stay. From the balcony you can take in the breathtaking sea views. This area includes a seating area, making it perfect for enjoying moments outdoors. The living room is cosy and functional, equipped with a dining area and cable TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dining table. The flat is located in a building with a lift and has Wi-Fi available in all areas. This one-bedroom flat is the ideal choice for those who want to enjoy a city holiday, given its proximity to the centre of Funchal. It offers all the necessary facilities for a pleasant and relaxing stay. AREA The Princesa Dona Amélia flat is located in the same building as the Cristiano Ronaldo Museum, 850 metres from the Funchal Marina and a 15-minute walk from the city's Old Town. Guests have easy access to various restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets, including a nearby beach and seafront promenade. Perfect location for exploring the city on foot (within a 5-15 minute walk of the cathedral, the marina, Santa Catarina Park, Funchal Municipal Garden, Baltazar Dias Theatre, Electricity Museum). There's a Pingo Doce supermarket in Plaza Shopping. Madeira International Airport is about 23 kilometres away by car. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. There are bus stops near the apartment. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (passport or identity card). - Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee. Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
