This studio is located on floor 1 of a former cultural space, now fully renovated and transformed with Scandinavian/Avant-garde (Dogville) style details. The decoration combines cultural elements with practicality, modernity, and comfort—ideal for travelers. The property accommodates up to 2 people and features an open-plan area with a double bed, a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a bathroom with shower. The building has a common entrance, lift access, and is situated on Rua Ivens, behind the Funchal Municipal Garden, close to the city’s main attractions, restaurants, shops, and parks. Wi-Fi is available throughout. No private parking. AREA Located in Rua Ivens, behind the Municipal Garden and a 1-minute walk from the Municipal Theatre Baltazar Dias, you can explore Funchal’s main points of interest on foot, including the Cathedral, Marina, Santa Catarina Park, museums, and more. GETTING AROUND Transfers can be arranged with local partners (cheaper than airport taxis). If renting a car, navigation apps easily find the address. ACCESS TO PROPERTY Full access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. Guests also have access to an app with important property and local information. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - All guests must present valid ID (passport or identity card) as per Portuguese law. - Check-in must be scheduled in advance (at least 48 hours prior). - Bed linen and towels provided. Baby cot, high chair, and baby bath available on request. - First aid kit, extinguishers, and fire blanket on site. ATTENTION A municipal tourist tax of €2.00 per person/night (ages 13+), up to 7 nights (€14 max per person/stay), will be charged. A payment link will be provided upon arrival. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee. Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
