Quiet, good views, and a swimming pool are great reasons to spend a holiday with a direct connection to the countryside. Set on a plot with two twin houses, this property offers comfort and well-being for you and your companions. With three bedrooms—two with double beds and one with two single beds—the house accommodates up to 8 people, thanks to a double sofa bed in the living room. The spacious living area is thoughtfully decorated for both functionality and comfort. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils needed to prepare your meals. Outside, the highlight is a fantastic swimming pool set in a large lawn area, perfect for fun and relaxation. The space is ideal for long lunches and barbecues with family or friends, featuring an excellent indoor barbecue area for grill enthusiasts. If you rent a car, private parking is available on the property. NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW Located in the west of Madeira Island, in the parish of Ponta do Pargo (Calheta municipality), the property is in a secluded area with no commerce nearby. Porto Moniz’s famous swimming pools are a 40-minute drive away. The Ponta do Pargo lighthouse is just 8 minutes by car. In Prazeres, you’ll find a market and restaurants. In Calheta, you can visit the Casa das Mudas museum or enjoy the sandy beach, supermarket, and various restaurants. GETTING AROUND The best way to reach the property is by transfer—ask us to arrange one with our local partners for a better rate than airport taxis. If you rent a car, any navigation app will easily find the address. GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the house. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We are always available to help or answer your questions via mobile or email and will do our best to meet your requests. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - All guests must present valid ID (passport or identity card) as required by Portuguese law. - Check-in must be scheduled in advance; if not scheduled at least 48 hours before arrival, it will be subject to team availability. - Bed linen and towels are provided. A crib, high chair, and baby bathtub are available on request. First aid kit, fire extinguisher, and fire blanket are provided. ATTENTION A Tourist Fee of €2.00 per person/night (aged 13 or over), up to 7 nights (€14 max per person/stay), will be charged for all guests staying in Calheta. You will receive a link to pay this municipal tax upon arrival. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Please be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. If abnormal levels are detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee. Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee. By making a booking, the guest accepts the house rules and terms of stay.
