O edifício tem uma entrada comum a todas as propriedades e está localizado na Rua da Carreira, uma das artérias principais do Funchal. A partir desta propriedade, poderá conhecer e visitar a pé os principais pontos de interesse da capital da Ilha da Madeira. Está próximo de restaurantes, centros comerciais, bares, museus, da Sé Catedral do Funchal, Jardim Municipal do Funchal, Marina do Funchal e Teatro Municipal.
No centro da cidade há muita informação sobre todo o tipo de atividades que pode fazer durante as suas férias: atividades culturais, atividades radicais, atividades ligadas à natureza… seja qual for o objetivo da visita à Ilha da Madeira!
COMO CHEGAR
A melhor opção para chegar ao apartamento será o transfer. Peça-nos para marcar um com os nossos parceiros locais. É mais barato do que os táxis que encontra no aeroporto. Se alugar carro, qualquer aplicação de navegação encontra facilmente a morada.

Estamos sempre disponíveis para ajudar ou para tirar dúvidas. Faremos os possíveis para acorrer a todas as solicitações. Temos também uma aplicação para os hóspedes com todas as informações importantes sobre a propriedade e outras informações úteis para a sua estadia.
OUTRAS OBSERVAÇÕES
- Conforme a lei portuguesa, todos os hóspedes são obrigados a apresentar um documento de identificação válido. (ex. passaporte, bilhete de identidade).
- O check-in deve ser agendado antecipadamente. Caso não seja agendado num máximo de 48 horas, os hóspedes estarão sujeitos à disponibilidade da nossa equipa.
- São fornecidas todas as roupas de cama e atoalhados. Podemos também colocar um berço, uma cadeira alta e uma banheira de bebé, se necessário. Existe kit de primeiros socorros, extintores e manta de fogo em todas as propriedades.
ATENÇÃO
Informamos que será cobrada uma Taxa Turística a todas as pessoas que pernoitem no concelho do Funchal. Assim, a todos os clientes alojados em empreendimentos turísticos e/ou estabelecimentos de alojamento, com 13 anos ou mais, será cobrado 2,00€ por pessoa/noite, até um máximo de 7 noites no máximo de 14,00€ por pessoa/estadia. Perto da sua chegada, receberá um link para pagamento desta taxa municipal.

If you’re sensitive to noise it’s not the place for you (AA 1). It’s right on the street and you can listen to peoples conversations.
The apartment itself is spectacular with high ceiling and lots of character. Occasionally there is a bad smell in the lobby because that’s were the garbage room is. Ask the great people at An Island Apart about other apartments in the building that are less noisy.Travel safe.

Bathroom door was not closing, no privacy at all, parking is impossible to find

When booking accommodation in the middle of the city, you must be prepared that parking will not be very easy, especially if the accommodation does not have parking included in the facilities. But in the vicinity of the accommodation you will find at least 3 parking houses.

Cons: towels had makeup stains on them. When we asked for more towels, they said it was $15 each (do we get to keep them?!?!) There were no beach towels either which for an island, seems like a necessity. We felt the place lacked homeliness- it was sparse, in a building that clearly is all vacay rentals. Not really any personal touches or things like coffee, small bfast items, etc. The company who owns it pushes their tours and rides.
The parking was kind of a mess- do not park in the closest garage that you pass on the way to the apt! (25E). If you need to get to the airport in the early morning, be mindful that the garage needs to be 24h. We found one across from the mall “La Vie” that was only 4.5E per day! Wish we found it sooner.

There was nothing not to like unless you are not an independent traveler. In that case, a full-service hotel would be a better option. If you have a car, you will have to find a garage - and be mindful - some garages close on Sundays and holidays, and also some may close as early as 20:00.

Die Ausstattung war sehr gut. Lediglich das "Gemeinschaftsbügeleisen" ist nicht ganz optimal. Wir gingen davon aus, das uns ein Bügeleisen als Ausstattung der Wohnung ständig zur Verfügung steht. Die Kommunikation diesbezüglich war hervorragend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
