A propriedade possui um quintal com espaço para solário e para tomar um café ou um chá, enquanto desfruta da tranquilidade envolvente ou lê um livro.
Esta casa destaca-se pelo seu estilo antigo e decoração clássica, bem como por privilegiar a luz natural, no seu interior. Com 3 quartos de dormir e 1 casa de banho, esta habitação tem capacidade para um máximo de 6 pessoas.
No exterior, o quintal de tijoleira é uma referência das casas madeirenses, bem como as flores e plantas que circundam todos os cantinhos da casa.
O acesso à casa é por uma vereda e demora cerca de um minuto a pé.

A casa está localizada na Costa Norte da Ilha da Madeira, mais concretamente na freguesia da Ponta Delgada, concelho de São Vicente. Aproveite a estadia para explorar esta localidade! Contemple as vistas sobre a Costa Norte da Ilha visitando os miradouros mais próximos do alojamento. Visite o Miradouro da Ponta Delgada e o Miradouro da Ponta Delgada (Este) que está a 3 minutos de carro ou a 6 minutos a pé da propriedade. A apenas 4 minutos de carro vai, também, encontrar as Piscinas de Ponta Delgada, a Igreja e o Monte Mar Palace Hotel. Existe ainda uma farmácia nas proximidades do alojamento, mini mercados, uma bomba de gasolina e alguns bares. Nos arredores vai encontrar outros pontos de interesse turísticos como o Miradouro da Ladeira, o Miradouro da Roca e o Miradouro do Bom Jesus.
São Vicente está a 10 minutos de carro da freguesia da Ponta Delgada. Existem alguns pontos a visitar como a Levada da Fajã do Rodrigues, para fazer uma caminha pela Natureza, ou a Quinta do Barbusano, para desfrutar de uma visita guiada pelas vinhas e uma prova de vinhos.
A cidade do Funchal está a cerca de 40 minutos de distância de carro.

To reach the house you need to drive through a narrow road (after a few days on the island you won't find it narrow anymore;) ).
There were some insects in the room, like ants. But after contacting Linda, the girls from the cleaning team came and cleaned it up quickly.
The double bed is indeed small and would be comfortable for just one person.

Het is een prachtig huisje, met een geweldige tuin,.heerlijke balkons. Verwacht niet perse luxe, maar wel een hele fijne sfeer. De douche is goed, er is een wasmachine, alles wat je nodig hebt om een maaltijd te bereiden, een gezellige inrichting.
De bedden liggen lekker, al zijn ze wel erg smal.
Je loopt in een paar minuten naar de zee, alwaar ook een zwembad is. Ook een klein supermarktje is niet ver, is te belopen.
Er was douchegel, zeep, zout, peper, olie, thee, koffie, suiker aanwezig. Douchegel, wasmiddel, enz enz. Als we weer naar Madeira gaan, dan zouden we heel graag weer hier verblijven.

Difficulté à trouver l'endroit++. La personne contactée a été très réactive et nous a rejoint en 10 min pour nous emmener. C'est indispensable, et plus simple, d'envoyer un plan ou des explications pour trouver l'endroit.

Mindegyik ágy nagyon kicsi és kényelmetlen, nem európai emberekre lett méretezve. Két 180 centis ember nem fér el az ágyban, egyszerre kell fordulni, a lábam lelógott. Nincs kinti sütögető, ami jól jött volna esténként. A konyhai serpenyők már elavultak. Nincs a ház előtt közvetlen parkolóhely, fel kell sétálni a fix parkoló helyről kb 50m, ez minket nem zavart, hátha másnak fontos.

The house is spacious and has a very nice seasoned, lived-in, and somehow British touch, dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, where the family of the landlady had lived in for many decades and really made it a very comfortable home. It is well equipped, with plenty of dishes, plates and glasses, etc. as you can only find in a house that was really lived in, and not just done up on a small budget for rental.
The house is airy and dry, which is not an easy accomplishment on this island, especially in autumn.
There is plenty of space in the kitchen, the dining area, the sitting room, and very importantly also on the various terraces all around the house. The house is situated in a nice garden with interesting plants and which is still nicely maintained.
The location is beautiful. Not easy to find on your own, so you should take the offer of the landlady to lead you there. Once found, access is easy, also the parking. It is very quiet all around, just a few animals in the early morning, no noise from neighbors or any traffic. Also, there is a nice view down onto the ocean, so you immediately get the feeling that this is a wonderful location for a holiday.
Ponta Delgada is not the hub of activity on the island, but it is not very touristy, so nice and calm. Access to most parts of the island are vey easy and quick from here. Therefore an ideal base for all kinds of tours.
Don't trust google maps to guide you there, it is impossible. Ask Linda, who is very kind and will help directly.
Very tall people might find the bed in one of the bedrooms a bit short, but the other 2 double beds are long enough.

We liked that there was a choice of locations to chose from, dining/living room, breakfast room, different terrace spots and garden. All nice for reading a book or having a drink and cards in the evening.
Restaurants and snack bars nearby were good (just need to work out opening hours!). Fab outdoor pool in Ponta Delgada which the kids loved.
Super quiet and relaxing, very little traffic in Ponta Delgada
Loved the character of the house and furnishings, felt authentic, well equipped and restful.
Saw comments about electricity and hot water but we had no issues, the shower was great and plenty of hot water for all the family.
We didn't have a car the first two days and just enjoyed the village pool and local places to eat and drink. The cafe at the pool does good food and great coffee. Food at As Pedras on the hill was really tasty, great value and stunning views. Good burgers and pizza at Kare's Cafe and Baixos also did lovely food.
The supermarket is a short walk and well stocked.
We had a hire car delivered to the property by This is Madeira for part of our stay and loved the rock pools at Porto Moniz and the beach at Seixal. It's easy to get around the island from Ponta Delgada and the roads were good. We did 2 nights in Funchal before arriving and while Funchal is amazing this house in Ponta Delgada was much more relaxing and peaceful.
The weather even in November was lovely and warm and the house was always a really pleasant temperature even without aircon.
Would highly recommend!
Loved everything, beds are a small double but didn't bother us. Hard to find at first make sure you get the instructions from Linda!

The gardens are stunning and the views from every terrace and window are unreal. Mountains on one side, sea on another all framed by bananas and palms.
We are a family of 4 with 6&9 year old who loved the local swimming pool which has a fantastic cafe. We also are at Kare's, As Pedras and Baixas and enjoyed coffee in Bom Jesus and snack bar London.
The supermarket is well stocked and the kitchen is well equipped if you prefer to eat in.
We had a hire car for part of our stay and loved seeing the rest of the North, especially Ponta Moniz and Seixal.
Would love to come back in the future.

Apart from that, I would recommend it
The only thing that marred our stay was the host's manner of communication. We were two hours late from the planned arrival time - it's an island, and unexpected things can happen on an island. Nevertheless, this circumstance irritated the host the most, which couldn't help but affect our interaction. She responded condescendingly and impatiently to some of our questions.

Het had schoner gekund en de tweepersoonsbedden waren veel te smal voor 2 personen. Het huis staat vol met meubels en accessoires waardoor je het idee hebt dat je bij iemand op visite zit. De keuken is erg verouderd maar alles wat je nodig hebt, is wel aanwezig. Door de luiken voor de ramen en door hoe het huis gelegen is, is het binnen lekker koel.

The rooms have furniture that can be removed to give more space.
The beds could be bigger and more comfortable
A better description on how to get to property especially of checking in late as we did as its not easy to find, maybe more signs as it is a remote area and we checked in late but apart from that the house is really beautiful cannot complain as its worth the value of property.

The huge problem was the water pressure. It was almost impossible to have hot water in the shower (maybe one person out of 4 could have one warm shower during a 3-nights stay). Also the cold water pressure in the shower was very very bad. Similarly in the kitchen - usually no hot water (and if it was available it was boiling hot) although the pressure of cold water was a bit better than in the shower. Another problem is that the bedrooms are very small - if you travel with a big suitcase there is no space to open it in the bedroom.

The interior of the house is very old fashioned. The funitures are elegant but you still get a vibe of stuffy smelling and especially the carpet could use a replacement. The kitchen needs cleaning and renovation!
We were however very happy to find that there were essential product one need around the house such as soap, toiletpaper and washing powder etc.
All in all a good house especially outdoor. Indside is fine but could use some modern renewal and a cleaner kitchen.
The communication was good, however we started up driving to the wrong adress that we were following from our rbnb information.. Luckly we had some neighborhood helpers that located the place for us.
We have had a good stay there.. and we especially enjoyed the space of the house, the location, the neighborhood and the colorful terrace. The inside needs renewal, but it can work if you are not expecting or promising too much of the place.
