Vivez l'histoire centenaire de la broderie de Madère dans un appartement au design excellent et aux souvenirs de la culture régionale.

En plein centre de Funchal, juste à côté du Farmers Market, ce fantastique appartement vous offre toutes les commodités.

Situé dans un bâtiment qui abritait une ancienne usine de broderie de Madère, cette propriété est divisée en six fractions indépendantes, chacune portant le nom d'une broderie de Madère bien connue.
Avec une architecture moderne et fonctionnelle, ces studios ont des petites notes qui vous ramènent dans le passé et vous font connaître un peu de la broderie de l'île. Avec une chambre à coucher avec un lit double, une salle de bain et une cuisine entièrement équipée, l'appartement peut accueillir deux personnes.
Pour ceux qui aiment passer un bon moment de détente, vous pouvez profiter de l'agréable terrasse commune, disponible sur le toit de l'immeuble, qui dispose d'une cuisine, afin que vous puissiez préparer vos repas.
Sur la même terrasse, il y a une buanderie commune à l'immeuble.

VUE D'ENSEMBLE DU QUARTIER
Drapes est situé dans un quartier central privilégié, en plein cœur de Funchal. À quelques pas du célèbre marché des fermiers (Mercado dos Lavradores) et du centre historique de Funchal (connu localement sous le nom de "Zona Velha"), vous pouvez explorer à pied la plupart des principales attractions touristiques de notre belle ville (par exemple, le téléphérique). (par exemple, le téléphérique, la marina de Funchal, le musée CR7, la cathédrale, le Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...)
Juste en face de l'immeuble, vous disposez d'une excellente connexion au réseau de bus local et interurbain, vous reliant à tous les endroits de l'île et couvrant les régions est et ouest, de sorte qu'il ne sera pas nécessaire d'aller loin si vous souhaitez bénéficier de ces services. En plus de ces facilités, le bâtiment dispose d'un centre commercial avec plusieurs magasins, cafés, restaurants et un supermarché de taille moyenne.

SE DÉPLACER
Avec un arrêt de bus pratiquement à la porte, le transport ne sera pas un problème pour nos hôtes.
Bien qu'un arrêt d'aérobus pour les arrivées et les départs de l'aéroport se trouve à 2 minutes à pied de l'appartement, nous recommandons le service de transfert privé comme meilleure option pour se rendre à l'appartement. Contactez-nous à l'avance pour réserver une voiture de transfert privé auprès de nos partenaires locaux. C'est moins cher que de prendre un taxi tout seul à l'aéroport !

- Tous les draps et les serviettes sont fournis. Nous pouvons également fournir un berceau, une chaise haute et une baignoire pour bébé si nécessaire. Une trousse de premiers secours, un extincteur et une couverture anti-feu sont disponibles dans toutes les propriétés.

ATTENTION
Veuillez noter qu'une taxe touristique sera facturée à toutes les personnes passant la nuit dans la municipalité de Funchal. Ainsi, tous les clients séjournant dans des stations touristiques et/ou des établissements d'hébergement, âgés de 13 ans ou plus, devront payer 2,00 € par personne/nuit, jusqu'à un maximum de 7 nuits et un maximum de 14,00 € par personne/séjour. Lors de votre arrivée, vous recevrez un lien pour payer cette taxe municipale.

Výborné ubytovanie v centre Funchalu so všetkým vybavením, ktoré človek očakáva a primeranou kvalitou. K dispozícii je terasa s výhľadom na ulicu a oceán. Veľmi sme si pobyt užili. Autobusy smerujúce na východné pobrežie a k letisku stoja pár metrov od apartmánu.

Das Appartement ist schön eingerichtet und großzügig und liegt sehr zentral alles ist fußläufig erreichbar.
Leider gibt es Punktabzug:
- Matratze schlecht
- unangenehmer Geruch in der Küche
- laute Straße (und schlechte Fenster)
- Auffindbarkeit.

Positiv:
Sehr freundliches Personal hat bei allem sofort geholfen

Im Detail:
- die Matratze ist sehr alt, die Federn sind bereits mit der Hand fühlbar. Nach zwei schlechten Nächten, meldeten wir uns und bekamen einen neuen Matratzentopper, das half.
- die Küche und somit das Zimmer hatte einen schlechten Geruch und die Aircon war verstaubt. Es kam jemand und hat geholfen.
- nicht leicht zu finden, da das Haus keine Nummer hat und kein erkennbares Logo vorhanden war. Die automatische Übersetzung hat zudem auch die Zimmerbezeichnung übersetzt, wodurch wir ratlos im Treppenhaus gesucht haben.

Really wanted to love this space but it needs maintenance. Stayed for 1 week and would not stay here again.

Pros:
- great central location, walkable
- close to grocery store
- spacious, modern aesthetic, good storage
- great kitchen setup
-most surfaces were generally clean
-easy check-in and access

Cons:
- no parking, budget for $15/per day at paid lot
- mold throughout the bathroom
- very bad smell coming from under the sink that filled the entire apartment (mold/or sewer gasses) had to keep windows open at all times
- noise from street was very loud with windows open
- shower door did not seal properly, resulting in a wet floor
- washing machine is finicky
- bed was uncomfortable for two people (very springy/transfers movement)
- bedding was sub-par (inner comforter was stained and pillows were very lumpy)

Hope the mold/maintenance issues can be resolved as this place has great potential.

Am Anreisetag gab es Probleme mit dem Türschloss und wir kamen nicht rein. Die Vermieterin haben wir direkt erreicht und sie hat versucht uns zu helfen. In der Wohnung angekommen hat es leider sehr unangenehm gerochen, was weder durch Lüften, noch durch eine Duftkerze weg ging. Außerdem war unsere Dusche leider undicht und es ist immer wieder Wasser ausgelaufen. Ansprechpartner waren allerdings sehr freundlich, die Wohnung war schick und hatte definitiv eine gute Lage. Im großen und ganzen hat es uns gut gefallen.

Świetnie ulokowany apartament w ścisłym centrum Funchal. Dobra baza to pieszego zwiedzania miejscowości. Brak miejsc parkingowych, ale w okolicy (ok. 10 min pieszo) dostępne bezpłatne miejsca parkingowe lub nieco bliżej płatne miejsca.

Logement très bien situé, à l’entrée de la ville, à 5min à pied du centre-ville. Supermarché à moins de 5 min à pied. Accessible par transport en commun. Stationnement Auto Silo do Campo da Barca à moins de 5min à pied, où nous avons pu garer la voiture pour €4,50 par jour. Très belle terrasse, cuisine équipée, accès laveuse et sécheuse. Arrivée autonome s’est très bien déroulé. Logement toutefois bruyant (rue passante, beaucoup d’autobus de la ville).

Boutique location - everything inside is new, 5 stars hotel level. Perfect place to explore the old city center of Funchal. Some noise during the evening from the cars (the apartment is near a main road) but nothing really disturbing from my point of view.

Das Apartment war schön und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Ein paar Sachen gibt es allerdings, welche mich dazu gebracht haben nur 4 von 5 Sternen zu vergeben:
• Klobrille nur an einer Seite angeschraubt (rutscht)!
• Ständig Leute im Stiegenhaus
• Wohnung war um 16:00 Uhr nicht fertig
• Check In Assistenten und Check-Out Assistenten sind unnötige wenn man auf AirBnB eh alle Daten eingegeben hat.
• Code mit der unteren Haustüre war Ident zur Wohnungtüre, was auch nicht sehr intelligent ist weil jede Person die in Haus kann dann auch in unsere Wohnung kann.
• Klimaanlage hat sich in der Nacht eingeschaltet (obwohl abgedreht und bin leicht krank geworden)

This is a great apartment. It is spacious and bright. Everything you need is there. The location is right in the centre of town. The only negative thing about the location was that it was loud as the cars and buses drive right next to the windows so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs. You also don’t need a key as there are key pads on the doors but they aren’t numbered so it wasn’t clear form the intriguing which door is which. Some other guests had the same issue while we were there and had to try all of the doors until they found one that opened with their code.

We were very happy with the apartment. It was really good equipped and very comfortable.
The communication with AIA was great as well.
The only thing that bothered us a bit, was the noise at night due to the main street at which the apartment is located.

We had a nice stay at Funchal and the apartment was located very well in terms of local busses, restaurants, Cafés, the cable car, harbor and supermarket. Everything could be reached by a max. 15min walk. The apartment was clean and the kitchen well equipped. Also the terrace is nice to have breakfast or dinner outside. The check-in was flexible via a code. First we thought we get a key, but it was accessible with a code. Be aware that the apartment is directly located at a main street with bus stops. Thanks for having us, we will come back to Madeira :)

The apartment is well located and really nice. It looks very stylish. Unfortunately, there were some ants in the toilet, which probably came from the wall behind the toilet. We had to fetch plates from above and the light switch system can be a bit confusing at first. Overall, it is a great place to stay on a great island

Everything was perfect. The dishwasher was clogged, but the team quickly handled this. They were easy to reach and quick to respond.

I had a wonderful stay in the lovely city of Funchal, and it was easy to get everywhere on foot.

Perfect location, next to loads of great bars and restaurants and very close to the cable car. Great balcony with a lovely view. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped.

The apartment was entirely equipt, the location was perfect. We really enjoyed the design ideas of the whole place, especially the hanging irons above the entrance.
There were many ants in the kitchen even though it was clean.

Everything worked without problems and we enjoyed our stay there. Since the accommodation is in the city center it’s a bit loud during the night, but that’s what you expect staying in the middle of Funchal. Everything we needed was there and the Appartement was very nice

A very nice place in the very heart of Funchal - we were able to visit many sights and night life by foot. The shared rooftop was a real highlight - I would've loved to cook up there if there was more time.

The place was clean and everything functioned well.

Good place in a alright area. Short walking distance from the coastal area and the market. Bus stop right outside the place so keep that in mind however they have GREAT noice cancelling windows, toodles.

The apartment and rooftop facilities are just perfect. We had a very enjoyable stay, with a mix of active days and relaxed evenings, sometimes cooking dinner at home. The apartment has everything you need, so you can travel light.
We love the apartment, the location and the friendly nature of the staff. We was left alone to be independent with the knowledge that staff are there to provide assistance or guidance where necessary.

Great apartment! Very modern looking, perfect location (near the water, near shops/restaurants, beside a grocery store), and very helpful host. It is a little loud at night and in the morning due to traffic, but that is true of any city.

The apartment was very clean upon arrival and check-in was a breeze. There is a supermarket downstairs and many other stores and cafes nearby as well. I definitely recommend staying here if you plan on coming to Madeira. The location is perfect and it is very spacious !

Super Unterkunft in sehr zentraler Lage. An der Unterkunft gibt es nichts auszusetzen außer, dass es ziemlich laut ist weil die Wohnung direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße liegt und direkt vor der Haustür eine Bushaltestelle ist. Ausstattung ansonsten genau wie angegeben.

The location is awesome, directly in the heart of Funchal. Access was easy, the room was even nicer than on the pictures and the rooftop was amazing to take a break in the sun ☺️

We really like the place. It's a lovely apartment fully equipped. We traveled with baby and she got used to it quickly. The baby cot, bath and chair provided. Terrace is perfect and we enjoyed it often. Washing machine and dryer are on the terrace floor. Apartment and main door work with code, there's no key. We found it useful. The main door were hidden for us for the first time as there is bus stop in front of apartment building and people lean in the door or sit in the doorway all the time. Fabio or Núria assist on the phone they are not in place. Bus stops, supermarkets , Mercades Dos Lavradores, streets with good food for dinner, historic town and sea, all very close from apartment. If you also travel with baby I recommend baby carrier better than trolley. No elevator in apartment and also better in town and levada walks. Madeira is so beautiful place. And you can all see it from apartment terrace.

Geen aanrader. Een aantal punten waar ik niet blij mee was.
Aankomst verkeerde code gekregen waardoor ik niet naar binnen kon. En langsmoest wachten op de eigenaar.
Vaatwasser met borden en bestek helemaal onder de schimmel stonk echt.
Kraan helemaal los en slecht warm water. Blij de slaapkamer vol met kleine mieren, je ziet ze bijna niet. Maar de laatste dagen kreeg ik rare rode bultjes op me been, en toen zag ik er paar lopen in de slaapkamer.
Kom je voor je rust en wil je goed slapen. Moet je al helemaal niet daar
Slapen. Precies voor de bushalte en 20 man staat voor je portiek altijd tewachten op de bus. Herrie en geen fijne sfeer

The apartment is very modern and looks just like in the pictures. The wifi connection is good and there are all the kitchen utilities that you need. The location is great! The communication with the hosting company was quite weak. In the apartment there was an ant problem and there was no information about the poisoning of the apartment during our stay until like 5 mins prior. Also we suspect that there was theft in the apartment during our stay. We would have wished to get better response and support from the host in this kind of situation.

Great location in the heart of bustling downtown Funchal. The apartment is amazing value for what it is -- a beautiful, sleek, modern apartment with a fully kitted-out kitchen, good air con, and a shared outdoor roof space with comfy seats. Only complaints were that we were only provided with one towel, and we had a bit of an ant problem!

Amazing flat in central Funchal - literally minutes from the main market and old town! The flat was really well equipped including blender for my morning shakes and 4 different types of wine glasses! Everything was exactly as in the pictures including the rooftop terrace which was great for chilling in the afternoon. There were plenty of restaurants and eateries around. Also there was a huge and well stocked supermarket just 2 minutes away.

My 7 night stay went without a fault. The hosting company was always on hand to answer all my questions. Overall the place and location were topnotch and would happily stay again!

We had a very nice apartment on 3rd floor with a view to the moutains & sea. Next to the mall and rihht in the centre. Modern, clean, cosy. Only disadvantage - above the main road, u hear lots of cars. Nice common terrace. Kitchen fully furnished. I would come again.

The apartment was lovely - new and modern design. However, the entrance is literally at a bus stop, so we were always navigating people sitting on the front step on our way in and out.
Unfortunately we had some issues communicating with the host, and there were no pillows/sheets/bedding/linens available resulting in a nice sleep on a bare mattress. We checked out the next day and went to a hotel.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, die Wohnung liegt im dritten Stockwerk und ist nur über die Treppe erreichbar. Der Eingangsbereich und die Wohnung sind sehr schön dekoriert. Die Dachterrasse ist perfekt fürs Frühstück ausgestattet. Den Abend kann man auch auf der Schaukel geniessen. Das Bett ist bequem, das Badezimmer sehr gross und mit zwei Waschbecken ausgestattet was am Morgen zeit sparen kann.

Die Kommunikation schon vor der Ankunft war super schnell und hilfsbereit. Die Umbuchung in dieses Appartement war ohne Probleme und Aufpreis möglich. Auch eine Frühanreise wurde ermöglicht und der Empfang war sehr freundlich und informativ. Travel to Madeira ist ein toller Gastgeber. … und die Wohnung? Genauso wie beschrieben! Man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause. Das Appartement ist sehr modern und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung und Technik ist mega komfortabel, es fehlt an nichts! Viele kleine Details, die einen immer wieder erfreuen und dem Appartement viel Gemütlichkeit geben, machen diesen Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Auch das Bad und die offene Küche lassen keine Wünsche offen. Der Wohn- und Schlafbereich sowie das Bad sind mehr als ausreichend groß, komfortabel eingerichtet und super (Nein: suuuuper!) sauber. Die Dachterrasse toppt das Ganze noch einmal! Die Wohnung liegt in einer belebten Straße. Das Meer, die Promenade und Old Town sind in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Restaurants, Cafés sowie Pubs ebenfalls. Eine Bushaltestelle (mit toller Anbindung!) findet sich direkt vor der Haustür. Die Lage ist genial! 200 % Weiterempfehlung! Travel to Madeira, danke für die tollen neun Tage! Ich komme wieder …

This has been one of the BEST airbnb apartments we have been to! It is equipped with absolutely everything you could think of, the interior is designed with excellent taste, it was super clean when we arrived and if you like being right in the middle of everything the location is just perfect. Everything you need such as restaurants or a big supermarket are in walking distance. Next time on Madeira we would stay here again, absolut recommendation!
P.S. The only thing which is a little problematic is parking your rental car. Check out Av. Santiago Menor for free parking at any time. The cheapest public parking garage is € 4,50 a day which is a fair price. If you can stand 5 minutes walking though it's perfect to park in Av. Santiago Menor :-)
