Situé dans un bâtiment qui abritait une ancienne usine de broderie de Madère, cette propriété est divisée en six fractions indépendantes, chacune portant le nom d'une broderie de Madère bien connue.
Avec une architecture moderne et fonctionnelle, ces studios ont des petites notes qui vous ramènent dans le passé et vous font connaître un peu de la broderie de l'île. Avec une chambre à coucher avec un lit double, une salle de bain et une cuisine entièrement équipée, l'appartement a la capacité d'accueillir deux personnes.
Pour ceux qui aiment profiter d'un bon moment de détente, vous pouvez profiter de l'agréable terrasse commune, disponible sur le toit de l'immeuble, qui dispose d'une cuisine, afin que vous puissiez préparer vos repas.
Sur la même terrasse, il y a une buanderie commune à l'immeuble.
VUE D'ENSEMBLE DU QUARTIER
Drapes est situé dans une zone centrale privilégiée, en plein cœur de Funchal. À quelques pas du célèbre marché des fermiers (Mercado dos Lavradores) et du centre historique de Funchal (connu localement sous le nom de "Zona Velha"), vous pouvez explorer à pied la plupart des principales attractions touristiques de notre belle ville (par exemple, le téléphérique). (par exemple, le téléphérique, la marina de Funchal, le musée CR7, la cathédrale, le Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...)
Juste en face de l'immeuble, vous disposez d'une excellente connexion au réseau de bus local et interurbain, vous reliant à tous les endroits de l'île et couvrant les régions est et ouest, de sorte qu'il ne sera pas nécessaire d'aller loin si vous souhaitez bénéficier de ces services. Avec un arrêt de bus pratiquement à la porte, le transport ne sera pas un problème pour nos hôtes.
Bien qu'un arrêt d'aérobus pour les arrivées et les départs de l'aéroport se trouve à 2 minutes à pied de l'appartement, nous recommandons le service de transfert privé comme meilleure option pour se rendre à l'appartement. Contactez-nous à l'avance pour réserver une voiture de transfert privé auprès de nos partenaires locaux. C'est moins cher que de prendre un taxi tout seul à l'aéroport !

We really enjoyed our stay, it was a good location and the place was really clean and big. It was equipped with what we needed. We were worried about the noise that other people were talking about but in our opinion it wasn’t that noisy just the sound of cars. I would reccomend!

I had a great stay at this apartment! The apartment was bigger than I thought and was very well equipped.
I once made use of the washing machine which is shared with the other guest apartments in the building. That came in handy especially when only travelling with hand luggage.
The location. Well it is excellently located in the city, very easy to get anywhere and also to the cable car area where a lot of tours depart from. But the building is situated by a very busy road, and the entrance is by a very busy bus stop. So the surroundings are noisy, it has to be said. But I quickly got used to that.
I really liked having the big supermarket Pingo Doce just steps away. They had everything! Even an café and an eatery.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wishes to be centrally located, and not in the main hotel/tourist area. Perfect for exploring Madeira!

Dieses 50qm- Appartment bot alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt als Selbstersorger benötigt. Es war sehr großzügig und stilistisch eine Meisterleistung. Die Küche bot genug Platz und außerordentlich viel Geschirr. Lediglich der Wasserkocher fehlte. So wurde eben Wasser auf dem Herd erwärmt. Ganz klassisch. Ich hätte mir jedoch bei der Größe der Küche ein grossrs Kochfeld (4 Platten) gewünscht. Nespresso-Maschine, easy zu bedienen!
Toll ist bei "AIA", dass Dinge wie Salz, Pfeffer, Öl, Kaffee, Tee (ggf. Filtertüten) gestellt werden.
Das Bett war groß und sehr bequem. Das Bad praktisch und funktional.
Die liebevollen Details hinter Glas (Bügeleisen, Nähmaschine &Co.) versprühten viel Charme und Gemütlichkeit.
Man muss sich aufgrund der direkten, zentralen Lage auf einen hohen Geräuschpegel einstellen. Schlafen mit Ohropax war aber ok. Alles super!

Very nice apartment, spacious, bright, with well equipped kitchen. There are double curtains on the windows, however, the house is located on the busy and noisy street. Another thing I didn't like was a thick door to other apartment, but my neighbors weren't very noisy. Host was very welcoming. Overall great stay, definetely can recommend

Our stay in Madeira was made that much better by the location of this apartment. There is a large grocery store next-door, we were across the street from the old town, including the old market and the bus stop right in front was really handy, especially since we booked the yellow bus tour that stopped there as well.
The apartment is larger in person than it shows in the photos, we enjoyed the extra space. The apartment was clean and we appreciated the change of linens and towels partway through our stay.
We would stay again.

Abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà con il self check-in ma sono stati subito disponibili. L’appartamento era come in foto: ampio, luminoso, comodo e accogliente, inoltre offre un terrazzo meraviglioso con cucina attrezzata, tavoli ecc! Ottimo soggiorno, confortevole e appartamento dotato di tutto! Centralissimo e per questo motivo caotico la mattina presto (vicino c’è una fermata dell’autobus e ed stato fastidioso, ogni giorno, chiedere di spostare le persone da davanti alla porta per passare) ! Però se si vuole rimanere in centro questo è il prezzo da pagare . Pulito, bellissima terrazza . Ci torneremmo sicuramente!

De accomodatie is ideaal om Funchal en als je een huurauto hebt de rest van het eiland te verkennen. Parkeren in de omgeving van het appartement is wel wat prijzig (10-15 eu per dag). De accomodatie was netjes, opgeruimd en goed bereikbaar, wel is de ruimte vrij gehorig, zowel binnen het gebouw als de straat waar het appartement aan grenst. We hadden vrij luide buren in het nabijgelegen appartement waar we de kinderen woordelijk van konden verstaan door de tussendeur. Prima als je vaak buiten het appartement bent, maar even relaxen in het appartement is dan wat lastig. 's Nachts hoor je de weg waaraan het gebouw ligt wel, maar heel storend is dat niet als je het afweegt tegen hoe centraal gelegen het appartement is.

Magnifique appartement, mais pas de stationnement. Je recommande de se garer au parking de Santa Luzia à environ 10min de marche de l’appartement afin de payer un prix raisonnable pour le parking. Aussi, la porte d’entrée au logement se trouve devant un arrêt de bus très achanlandé, alors il peut être difficile de la trouver à l’arrivée. Autre que cela, le logement est impeccable, avec une super belle terrasse!

Wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Sie ist sehr zentral in Funchal gelegen, weshalb man gut zu Fuß die Stadt erkunden kann. Die in der Beschreibung beschriebenen kostenlosen Parkplätze auf dem Grundstück gibt es nicht. Mit einem Mietwagen muss in Parkhäusern in der Stadt geparkt werden, wodurch noch weitere Kosten entstehen. Ansonsten eine angenehme Unterkunft für zwei Personen.

Schönes & zentral gelegenes Airbnb. Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt 100 % zufrieden. Zu beachten ist allerdings, dass die Wände sehr dünn sind. Wir konnten die Nachbarn deutlich beim reden hören. Ebenfalls knarzt & wackelt das Bett beim bewegen.

Really nice stay for a week. Check in was fairly smooth but we did take a while to figure out which apartament was ours on our floor as there were no house numbers.
Some reviews said it was noisy by the main road, I wouldnt say it was not a problem especially when you're tired! Nice, clean and modern apartment with some quirky madeiran themed style.
The kitchen was very well equipt and the terrace was often lovely to eat our dinners at!
Overall great stay especially considering the price we paid.

Sehr schöne zentrale Unterkunft in Funchal. Vorallem super, wenn man kein Mietauto hat und viel zu Fuß unterwegs ist. Direkt unter dem Zimmer bei der Eingangstür befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle.
Einzig etwas störend fanden wir den Straßenlärm, aber der legt sich um ca. 23:00 Uhr.

Très belle expérience. logement propre, moderne ... et central, ce qui nous a permis de sortir le soir sans devoir prendre la voiture. le petit bémol, c l'isolation qui est moyenne alors que l'appartement est situé sur une rue très passante ... et le prix des parkings

Pros: 1. Great location - very central 2. Spacious apartment 3. Access code 4. Comprehensively equipped kitchen 5. Nice rooftop (public space) and other useful public amenities
Cons: 1. Cleanliness - wasn't the best. Sheets and pillow cases were stained, and the floor was dirty 2. Noise - despite double glazed windows the noise from the street downstairs and especially the bus stop is clearly heard in the apartment 3. Comfort - bed is old and lumpy, pillows are cheap and of a poor quality, couch is uncomfortable, TV is in an awkward place, rocking chair is redundant, cushions are cheap and of a poor quality - it wasn't a place that I wanted to relax in

Pros:
1. Very central location to everywhere and every service you will need
2. Very spacious apartment
3. Kitchen comprehensively equipped
4. Access code - very handy
Cons:
1. Cleanliness - the floors, in particular, were not properly vacuumed or swept, and the bed sheets and pillow cases were stained
2. Noise - I know this is something that was mentioned by some previous reviewers, and although we weren't too perturbed by it, I am mentioning it for other guests. This is because of the busy street in front of the hotel and specifically the bus stop, neither of which can be helped, I presume. The double glazing on the windows is not helpful either
3. Cleaning ladies were noisy and oblivious to other guests as they made a huge racket while cleaning. Unprofessional
4. Comfort - the couch is uncomfortable, the rocking chair is purely for aesthetics, the cushions on the couch have seen better days, the pillows on the bed were old, worn and of a cheap and poor quality, the mattress is old and lumpy
5. Subjective opinion perhaps, but those curtains!! - aside from being unattractive in their current configuration, we couldn't actually use them - they were mostly stuck

Pros: - good location - well equipped kitchen - very friendly and responsive hosts - spacious - clean - rooftop - easy self checking in/out
Cons: - noisy from the outside activities - lack of parking, but options in the nearby area are available ( I recommend the min 3 entry fee at the Anadia Commercial Center) - not necessarily a con, but the washing machine was in a common space upstairs on the rooftop

Overall we had a good stay here. There were some feedback points we had which we fed back on half way throughout our stay - all constructive things we felt could improve the overall stay but nothing that should put anyone off staying here. Location is good (instructions could be clearer on name of app) as we had to keep trying different ones until we found right one - there was also a smell throughout out stay coming from under the sink. All things and the additional DIY needed that will only enhance a good stay! Nice roof Terrace, central location 😀

Loved my stay in this apartment, will book again soon! The area is also great and very walkable. I always had something to and is very close to many nice restaurants. I also spent some time in the rooftop and the view at night is very pretty.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dem Apartment - die Ausstattung war super und die Lage sehr zentral! Wir konnten alles in Funchal zu Fuß erreichen. Late Checkout war gegen eine geringe Gebühr problemlos möglich.

Krásná čisté a prostorné ubytování s velmi dobře vybavenou kuchyní v těsné blízkosti centra. Nákupní centrum ve vedlejším domě s možností parkování. Tržnice naproti. Vstup do domu je přímo z autobusové zastávky, která bývá ve špičkách hustě zaplněná.

The place was spacious and spotless. The host was very responsive and went the extra mile to make the stay comfortable. We had some trouble finding the entrance as it's right next to a bus stop, but you can't hear anything once in the room.

Amazing stay! Everything was great, the apartment is very spacious and a walking distance away from the city center. The apartment was also cleaned once during our 9-night stay. The terrace is also amazing, and offers an outdoor kitchen and a service area.

Das Apartment liegt sehr zentral und alle Buslinien, sowie der Strand, sind bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung des Apartments war sehr gut. Das Personal von an island apart war bei Fragen und Problemen super lieb und hilfsbereit :) Vielen Dank

Great bright apartment, very well equipped. Perfectly located in the city center, near the bus stop, near the beach, a lot of restaurants and shops around. And, obviously, the common area (terrace) is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay in this place.

Heel erg fijn verblijf gehad! Locatie was geweldig, midden in het centrum. De gedeelde rooftop maakte het appartement helemaal af! Daarbij waren wij erg te spreken over wat het appartement allemaal te bieden had, veel kookgerei, goede airco en faciliteiten! Top!

We loved our stay at Drapes Design, the apartment looks very new, is clean and spacious, and the kitchen has everything you could need for your stay. The location is ideal, just by the Mercado dos Lavradores in downtown Funchal, with a supermarket 1 minute away and bus stops just downstairs. The team was super responsive too.
The rooftop is the cherry on top with a super nice view over the city :)

Krásné ubytování, čisté, vřele doporučujeme!!! Nádherná terasa s výhledem. Na hlavní ulici, mnoho barů a restaurací, ale přesto je zde v noci klid. Parkování je možné na placených parkovištích hned vedle a nebo do 10 min pěšky zdarma v v přilehlých ulicích.

It’s a good place in a central location. The proprietor offered us good tips and responded quickly when we had questions about, say, parking, and where a good place to park overnight was.
It is on a busy street, but the windows block out the sound pretty well and the powered blinds and shutters did a good job of blocking the light. The exception is on Saturday and Sunday nights when the sound from the discotheque across the street is pretty loud into the night, but that didn’t bother us.
We let the proprietor know that the shelf in the bathroom had broken about a week into our stay, and while they promptly replied to say that they would let their maintenance person know, they never came and fixed it or otherwise got back to us.
The check-in process was a little weird because the owner uses an app separate from the AirBnB app and we had to figure out how to navigate that one - which worked better on a laptop than a phone, in my view. That said, when we had questions, they responded quickly.
Was a good base for our vacation. Would recommend.

Very nice location, the flat is nice and clean. Everything you might need for cooking is also provided. Would recommend taking your own shampoo as the one provided is extremely watery. Overall really nice stay - would recommend!

I have enjoyed my stay very much.
The central downtown location makes it a good starting point for all activities. Bus stop at the building entrance, shopping and parking in the building, beautiful common area roof-top terrace, market, harbour.....all within quick walking distance. This incluces the expected dowtown noise level, you easily get used to. Do not expect a quiet place near the water or beach. The modern windows-fassade cannot block the street's noise. I have made suggestions for easily possible improvements of the single-pane-fassade above the windows up to the same top quality the rest of fassade and windows already have. With these improvements, I would give it 5-stars.
The well equipt apartment is modern and bright with all amanities including air conditioning, easy to use. Internet works perfectly. TV-programs are restricted, but not necessary for an outside vacation. The pictures on the webside show reality. You quickly feel at home. On- and offline-services works very well and are quickly responsive.
