Les amoureux du mouvement et de la vie urbaine aimeront ce penthouse convivial et raffiné, situé au cœur de la ville de Funchal.
Son espace intérieur a été utilisé au mieux, afin d'offrir le confort associé à une décoration moderne et soignée, qui répondra à vos attentes. L'appartement dispose d'une chambre à coucher avec lit double, d'une salle de bains avec douche et d'une petite cuisine équipée. Depuis le petit balcon, vous avez une vue privilégiée sur l'architecture du centre-ville et la Tour de la Cathédrale.
La propriété est entièrement préparée pour que vous vous sentiez comme chez vous !
VUE D'ENSEMBLE DU QUARTIER
Les clients ont un accès facile à plusieurs restaurants (il y a un petit café juste à l'extérieur de l'immeuble), boutiques, centre commercial et supermarché.
Cet appartement est situé très près du célèbre marché des fermiers (Mercado dos Lavradores), du centre historique de Funchal (connu localement sous le nom de "Zona Velha") et de la cathédrale. De là, vous pourrez explorer à pied la plupart des principales attractions touristiques de notre belle ville. (par exemple, le téléphérique, la marina de Funchal, le musée CR7, le Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...)
La plage de Barreirinha se trouve à environ vingt minutes de marche, où vous pourrez vous détendre et plonger dans les eaux cristallines de l'île.
SE DÉPLACER
Bien qu'un arrêt d'aérobus pour les arrivées et les départs de l'aéroport se trouve à quatre minutes de marche de l'appartement, nous recommandons le service de transfert privé comme la meilleure option pour s'y rendre. Contactez-nous à l'avance pour réserver une voiture de transfert privé auprès de nos partenaires locaux. C'est moins cher que de prendre un taxi tout seul à l'aéroport !

ATTENTION
Veuillez noter qu'une taxe touristique sera facturée à toutes les personnes qui passent la nuit dans la municipalité de Funchal. Ainsi, tous les clients séjournant dans des stations touristiques et/ou des établissements d'hébergement, âgés de 13 ans ou plus, devront payer 2,00 € par personne/nuit, jusqu'à un maximum de 7 nuits et un maximum de 14,00 € par personne/séjour. Lors de votre arrivée, vous recevrez un lien pour payer cette taxe municipale.

Der Kontakt mit An Island war sehr unkompliziert, schnell und freundlich.
Was uns sehr positiv aufgefallen ist, war der Service während unserem Aufenthalt. Nach fünf Tagen Aufenthalt wurde unsere Wohnung geputzt, das Bett neu bezogen und so weiter.
Das einzige Manko ist die Dusche, die schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aussieht.

Er kwam een onwijs vieze lucht uit de badkamer (riool/schimmel lucht), schimmel was ook te zien bij de kabine wanden. We hebben dit gemeld en ze kwamen schoonmaken. Hierna rook het enkele uren naar schoonmaakmiddel, maar daarna kwam de geur weer terug.. ook vroegen we halverwege ons verblijf (na 4 dagen) om schone handdoeken. Hier moesten we echter 15 euro voor betalen.

Fiz toda programação de Funchal caminhando.
Apartamento muito limpo e arrumado.
Tínhamos todos os utensílios de cozinha necessários para preparação de refeições.
O secador de cabelo não funcionou.
A persiana não fecha completamente, isso deixa o quarto bem claro logo nos primeiros raios de sol.
Como sugestão: Colocar mais duas almofadas nas camas, ficaríamos mais confortáveis.

El chico que nos atendió por el chat fue simpático, atento a lo que necesitábamos.
El agua caliente en ciertas horas era inexistente, varios días nos tuvimos que duchar con el agua casi fría. Además la limpieza del primer día dejó bastante que desear, había trozos de comida en la cocina y el baño no estaba muy limpio. En el baño las tuberías tenían un olor un tanto desagradable

Die Sauberkeit war okay, es waren Reste wie Haare und Seife in Bad und Schlafbereich zu finden. Wir hatten nicht das Gefühl, dass dort jemand geputzt hat, sondern nur grob durchgefegt hat. Staub auf sämtlichen Oberflächen. Der starke Raumduft bei Ankunft, diente dazu den übel riechenden Kanalgeruch aus dem Bad zu übertönen. Die gläserne Duschtür hat geklemmt und schloss nicht richtig wodurch Wasser auslief. Dies sorgt zusätzlich für einen Geruch der Feuchtigkeit. In der kleinen Küche hatte man alles da was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt, diese haben wir sauber vorgefunden.

The apartment is ideally located with everything on your doorstep. Kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and had everything I needed. Highly recommend and would use again.

The key was not where it was supposed to be, someone had to come bring it after we called them.
But there was a lot of noise from the other apartments in the building. You could hear the toilet flushing in the room above us. That was not so pleasant.
Also the shower could use more cleaning.
Overall it was okay

La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de restaurantes y del mercado de los labradores.
El trato ha sido excelente. Tuvimos un problema personal por el que tuvimos que cancelar la reserva. Posteriormente pudimos finalmente hacer el viaje y no dudaron en aplicarnos el precio de la reserva inicial.
Lo recomendaría sin ninguna duda.

On booking.com we advertise photos of the building in general, including photos of the balcony of the penthouse flat. However when you proceed with the booking, it only shows the specific photos of each flat and in this specific case, it does not indicate that the 4B is a penthouse, but only shows a photo with a small balcony.

We were misled by the advertising photos. We booked a penthouse with a terrace overlooking Funchal. Instead, they put us in a tiny place with no terrace and no views. We are really disappointed. We would have never booked this place if we knew what we are getting at. This was our worst accommodation experience in Madeira.

Thanks for hosting me! Overall the service was very good, staff was super nice and responsive when contacted and internet is fast.
The apartment has all the amenities needed, however the bed is extremely uncomfortable, especially the pillows.
On a less positive note, the building needs to be checked. The smoke alarm flashes red every few seconds and there are weird noises coming from the entrance area on the 4th floor that are ongoing and made me feel uneasy.

Le bruit de la rue, même en étage élevé et les voisins dont un chien qui jappe sans cesse le soir, Les bars et restaurants en contrebas sont souvent bruyants, sans oublier les clochards qui se querellent et enfin les nombreux clients de passage deux ou trois jours au plus qui se fouttent des règles internes de la résidence. On entend absolument tout et j'ai très mal dormi. Comme il n'y a prsonne de permanence sur place, on doit appeler la police si on veut le calme après 22 heures. De plus, l'appartement que j'avais était orienté en plein soleil toute la journée. Du coup, on est ébloui sauf à utiliser le pare soleil transparent noir ce qui est plutôt désagréable. Enfin, les horaires de ménage inadéquats (dimanche fin d'après-midi) pour ceux qui comme moi restent un mois voire plus. J'ai regretté d'avoir payé d'avance si longtemps.

Manque de transparence sur l'appartement qui vous est attribué. Vous pouvez tomber sur le 1er étage comme sur le 5ieme, vous pouvez avoir une terasse ou non, avoir un lit double ou deux lits simples... vous n'en savez rien avant d'arriver!

Ausência de estacionamento à porta, o que dificulta o processo de check in e check out. Fomos devidamente informados que só existia estacionamento pago nas imediações. Só tivemos contacto com uma pessoa que nos entregou a chave na recepção, e a nossa impressão deste momento não foi positiva.

Pokój świetnie wyposażony. Na parterze pralnia z suszarka, można więc zapakować się w bagaż podręczny i zrobić pranie.
Niczego nie brakowało. Świetne miejsce na wakacyjny pobyt, warte polecenia. Widok z okna ale z 4 lub 5 piętra! Poniżej raczej nie ciekawy.
Brakowało kosmetyków w łazience, mimo że Pani na powitaniu to zauważyła, nie zostały to uzupelnione!
Zapach z odpływu w łazience, wystarczyło uzupełnić wodą aby odór z rur nie wychodził do pomieszczenia.
Pozycja dla serwisu aby do prania ręczników dodawać vanish, nie będą pachniał stęchlizną.
Może się czepiam, ale to jedyne minusy miejsca.

The room was modern and very clean, but a bit small than our expectations and did not have a sea view (unlile what i saw in pictures).
Kitchen was fully equiped including also salt, coffee powder and oil.
The toilet was modern looking but was less maintained. The door lock did not work, the shower door was defective and the toilet seat flap was unstable.
Apart from these small hickups, I would come back.
