Ce bel appartement douillet se distingue par sa décoration soignée, pleine de détails, son confort et ses vues fantastiques sur la baie de Funchal.
Récemment rénové, cet élégant appartement dispose de trois chambres : une suite avec un lit double et une salle de bain privée, deux chambres avec deux lits simples chacune, une salle de bain commune et une cuisine entièrement équipée. La propriété peut accueillir un maximum de six personnes.
En plus de l'espace intérieur, vous pouvez profiter de la terrasse de la copropriété, pour admirer la vue ou préparer un savoureux barbecue, qui est à la disposition de tous les résidents.

VUE D'ENSEMBLE DU QUARTIER
Les clients ont un accès facile à plusieurs restaurants dans les environs. Il y a plusieurs bars et cafés à proximité du bâtiment. La plupart des magasins, centres commerciaux et supermarchés se trouvent à cinq ou dix minutes de marche.
L'appartement est situé à vingt minutes du célèbre marché des fermiers (Mercado dos Lavradores), du centre historique de Funchal (connu localement sous le nom de "Zona Velha") et de la cathédrale. De là, vous pourrez explorer à pied la plupart des principales attractions touristiques de notre belle ville. (par exemple, le téléphérique, la marina de Funchal, le musée CR7, le Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...)

Nous recommandons le service de transfert privé comme meilleure option pour se rendre à l'appartement. Contactez-nous à l'avance pour réserver une voiture de transfert privé auprès de nos partenaires locaux. C'est moins cher que de prendre un taxi seul à l'aéroport !

Veuillez noter qu'une taxe touristique sera facturée à toutes les personnes qui passent la nuit dans la municipalité de Funchal. Ainsi, tous les clients séjournant dans des stations touristiques et/ou des établissements d'hébergement, âgés de 13 ans ou plus, devront payer 2,00 € par personne/nuit, jusqu'à un maximum de 7 nuits et un maximum de 14,00 € par personne/séjour. Lors de votre arrivée, vous recevrez un lien pour payer cette taxe municipale.

We stayed in this apartment in Funchal in early February. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the Old Town — going down was easy, but the return uphill was a bit challenging as the apartment is on a hill.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. The only thing to note is that in reality, it looks slightly less idealized than in the photos. However, this didn’t affect our satisfaction.
The hosts (a company) were responsive and quickly addressed any issues via chat. The view from the window and the rooftop was stunning, and free parking behind a barrier was a real plus in Funchal.
Amenities included two toilets and showers, a washing machine, iron, ironing board, extra linens and towels, and enough dishes. The kitchen had a fridge and electric kettle. The Continente supermarket was a short drive away.
The floors were cold, so we bought slippers. Also the lighting in the living area was a bit dim.
We would recommend this apartment for its comfort, great location, and amazing views.

Location was very good, apartment was spacious and the view wonderful
Traumatic experience when our 2nd booking (starting 27 December at the same property) got canceled short notice (on 24 Dec) by booking.com. Even after being fully paid on 23 Nov. Although it seemed like a booking.com error the hosts did nothing to support us and only gave us deadlines to book again on their site. Completely unsympathetic and unhelpful. After a very stressful Christmas trying to resolve it ourselves between booking.com and An Island Apart we were forced to check out on 27 Dec. Booking.com customer service was helpful in finding us another place but this was not the outcome we wanted and we even had to spend time "on the street". I'll think twice before using An Island Apart again. Unfortunately, after using booking.com for more than 12 years I'll also look for an alternative now.

Bel appartement spacieux et très propre, avec une vue magnifique sur Funchal et une localisation idéale, à seulement 10-15 minutes du centre, des restaurants et des activités. La remontée vers l’appartement demande un peu d’effort, mais cela reste raisonnable. Gros point positif : l’accès à un parking privé, très pratique si vous louez une voiture.
Quelques petits inconvénients toutefois : une des toilettes fuyait et faisait du bruit, mais cela n’a pas été réparé pendant notre séjour malgré un signalement à l’agence. Le lave-vaisselle ne fonctionnait pas, et il serait utile de prévoir des torchons, car il n’y en avait pas dans l’appartement.
Quelques petits inconvénients toutefois : une des toilettes fuyait et faisait du bruit, mais cela n’a pas été réparé pendant notre séjour malgré un signalement à l’agence. Le lave-vaisselle ne fonctionnait pas, et il serait utile de prévoir des torchons, car il n’y en avait pas dans l’appartement.

Clean and comfortable apartment. 15 min walk to down town. Bit of a hill to climb back. Not bad if you are fit. On the eighth floor and living room window sills are too low to be deemed safe especially for kids. Apt is surrounded by hills and can be noisy with vehicles, dogs and a rooster that seems to crow for most of the morning. With ear plugs things were fine. Overall we were happy with the space and An Island were especially attentive

Sehr schöne Wohnung, welche zentral gelegen in Funchal liegt. Die Parkplatzsituation ist super, da ein privater Parkplatz im eigen Hof vor dem Hochhaus vorhanden ist.
Die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche wurden während unseres Aufenthalts 1x gewechselt. Die Handtücher haben wir selber aber auch mehrmals in der eigenen Waschmaschine in der Küche gewaschen.
Die Küche war ganz ok ausgestattet. Nur die Messer zum Schneiden für Obst, Gemüse und Fleisch waren sehr stumpf und haben ein schneiden fast unmöglich gemacht. Ein paar Küchen Basics wie Salz und Pfeffer waren da aber eine richtige Grundausstattung wie in der Beschreibung mit Gewürzen und co. waren nicht vorhanden.
Der Blick der Wohnung runter auf Funchal und das Meer ist super schön - egal bei welcher Tageszeit. Die Dachterrasse hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen.
Der Gastgeber war immer super schnell zu errichten und war bei Problemen auch immer sofort vor Ort - die Schranke zum Parkplatz hatte eine Störung.

Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Leider hatte sie keine Klimaanlage wodurch es in der Wohnung sehr warm werden kann. Mückengitter sind leider auch nicht vorhanden. Ansonsten ist an dem Apartment aber nichts auszusetzen.

The flat is in a really nice location, the views during the day and night are lovely. The free parking at the apartment and it’s close proximity (15 mins walk) to Funchal centre makes it easy to explore the city and Madeira in general. The kitchen is a little small but it’s functional for a holiday.

Schöne und saubere Wohnung, wie auf den Bildern abgebildet mit guter Ausstattung. Im Sommer kann es ohne Klimaanlage recht warm werden, dafür gibt es Ventilatoren in den Schränken. Direkt am Gebäude gibt es Parkplätze die durch eine Schranke gut abgesichert sind, trotzdem ist man zu Fuß schnell in der Innenstadt. An Island war gut erreichbar bei Fragen oder Problemen. Insgesamt ein super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Great apartment and view. Check in was a little confusing as the instructions weren’t sent on Airbnb but through a different link and site. Free parking was a plus and it was a 15 min walk for us to get to the water front. Definitely a great place and we enjoyed our stay. The only negative was the windows in the sunroom didn’t lock so it made me a bit nervous with my son.

We were very happy with the place we stayed. The location is about 15mins walk to Funchal city centre and there are a couple of small shops across the street to get essentials. The host is very responsive and instructions are clear. We will definitely go back again.

Der Aufenthalt war rundum gelungen, die Erreichbarkeit der Wohnung war gut und das Innerstädtischen war zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Wir waren sechs Personen und hatten genügend Platz. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Als Anmerkung muss gesagt werden, dass es in den Schlafzimmern zu wenig Steckdosen gibt (um in der Nacht das Handy zu laden). Die Einrichtung ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen aber hat keinen gravierenden Mangel aufgewiesen. Leider gab es kein Balkon, es gab die Möglichkeit aber auf die Dachterrasse zu fahren. Wir würden die Unterkunft mit 4,5 von 5 Sternen bewerten.

È stato un soggiorno fantastico,
lo staff ci ha assistito tutto il tempo della prenotazione e anche in seguito.
Beatrice ci ha accolti ed è stata molto amichevole e disponibile.
La posizione era fantastica con vista sul mare, il luogo molto tranquillo e l'appartamento molto ben arredato.
Se torneremo a Funchal, li contatteremo di sicuro!

We stayed for almost 10 weeks and enjoyed it incredibly much! The view is unmatched with almost a 180° view of the whole Funchal bay. We watched the New Year fireworks show from there and it was incredible....
The overall stay was really great and we were all the time 4 x guests, with 2 x extra guests joining occasionally. Everyone enjoyed the calm, peaceful space.
I would be more than happy to stay there again and would recommend it.
The overall stay was really great and we were all the time 4 x guests, with 2 x extra guests joining occasionally. Everyone enjoyed the calm, peaceful space.
I would be more than happy to stay there again and would recommend it.

Overall rating would be a 3.5 as it is neither a 3 nor a 4. That said the apartment is pretty comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.
There are however a number of things in the apartment requiring some love and care, but we had a long stay so I guess you get used to it. Had we only been here a few days it might have been a bigger irritation.
We were here over New Years and the view was absolutely 1st class for the fireworks. Having a coffee in the sunny 'viewing spot' is also very nice and you can see the ships coming and going. Getting from the apartment to Funchal 'city' is approx a 10 minute walk, but Taxi's are easy to get as well. It is close to the freeway which does make access pretty easy.
All things considered I think a 3.5 out of 5 is a fair rating looking at overall value for money. That said it could easily be a 4/5 fixing the small niggles.

We have been staying here for the past 5 weeks already and generally have been enjoying our stay. The support staff is friendly and helpful and support very quickly. The apartment itself is pretty comfortable and generally nicely equipped and appear as per pics advertised.
The entrance to the buildings is not so perfect, but the amazing view makes up for it!

The apartment is located in a very good spot and the living room is amazing proving sunrise views.
The check in wasn’t the best since we didn’t have information about the floor the apartment is located. The bathroom was not cleaned properly and most of the cups in the kitchen were dirty. There was no apologize for the situation of the bathroom. Although it was cleaned the same afternoon.

This apartment is wonderful, it is very clean and spacious. The view from the living room is beautiful, in the morning and at night. The location is close to everything you need for your stay. Nous étions 4 adultes et nous avons passé une semaine dans cet appartement. Il est très bien, meublé avec goût. Une des salles de bain est de bonnes dimensions et l'autre beaucoup plus petite. Les chambres sont belles et possèdent beaucoup de rangements ainsi que des ventilateurs et des radiateurs d'appoint. Beaucoup de linge de toilette à notre disposition. La cuisine est bien équipée. Il y avait même des produits de base : café, filtres, sucre, huile, vinaigre. La vaisselle est suffisante. Le mobilier est moderne et confortable. Du salon on voit la mer. Le parking réservé à la résidence est à l'extérieur. L'immeuble est à une quinzaine de minutes à pied du centre historique. Une petite épicerie se trouve en bas de l'immeuble. Pas de restaurants à proximité, il faut aller en ville. A notre arrivée un jeune homme nous a accueillis pour nous expliquer le fonctionnement de l'appartement. Il n'y avait pas de machine à café, il nous en a procuré une très rapidement. Très bon accompagnement de An Island Apart. Seul désagrément de notre séjour, il y a plusieurs chiens à proximité qui aboient jour et nuit et ont perturbé notre sommeil. Boules Quies indispensables pour les personnes qui ont le sommeil léger.

The flat is bright and big. At the 8th floor with a lift, the view over the city and the ocean is just magnificent.
Everything needed was here, salt pepper oil and vinegar which seems rare nowadays was present for us.
Overall it was perfect just be ready to walk uphill for 7-10minutes to reach the flat from the city center.

Die Wohnung ist in einer super Lage 15 Gehminuten vom Hafen und Zentrum entfernt . Es gibt genügend kostenfreie Parkplätze und einen Lift zur Wohnung.
Es war sehr sauer und die Aussicht ist der absolute Wahnsinn ! Die Wohnung ist voll ausgestattet und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Sie ist für 6 Personen groß genug und die Betten sind sehr bequem.

The apartment on the 8th floor (with lift), offers views over Funchal to the Harbour. The Apartment is well fitted out, spacious, clean, quiet location and a pleasurable short walk into the centre of Funchal. I can highly recommend.

We absolutely LOVED this apartment. The view is just incredible, the bedrooms were all really comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. We also liked the local neighbourhood. The greengrocers across the road had fantastic fruit and vegetables, as well as fresh bread + all the basic groceries you'd need for a short stay (milk, butter, eggs, bacon, beer). The An Island Apart team was super helpful, quick to respond to any request and generous with suggestions and recommendations. We look forward to staying here again.

Our stay at Quinta Deão was good. The check in and check out were easy and conveniente and the platform is quite helpful providing all the necessary information about the apartment. The space is nice and clean, the view over Funchal is amazing, the rooms are comfortable. Overall the apartment has everything you need for a stay in Funchal. The only thing that the group has complained about are the shower heads that are quite broken and used. As well as the sealants in the shower base that could be replaced. The kitchen is nice and well equipped.

My partner and I decided to stay in Madeira for the UK lockdown. Quinta Deao was a very convenient location, a spacious clean apartment, and well serviced by Fabio. The living room furniture could do with upgrading - not very comfortable - otherwise a great little place to be to enjoy the sights and tastes of Funchal and Madeira. Thank you to Islands Apart for allowing us to extend our stay with minimum fuss.

This apartment has beyond spectacular views of Funchal. It’s an easy walk down the hill into town, but a tough walk back in the heat and humidity. There are busses though if one is inclined. The apartment is comfortable although space was a bit tight for 6 grown people. 5 would have been perfect, but either way 4 people need to share a bathroom, so important that you are comfortable with the people you stay with. The hosts were amazing and organized airport transfers and offered great tips on what to do. We love Funchal and went for lovely morning runs and ate far too much spectacular food. I would stay in this apartment again if they fix a couple of the basic amenities and install an aircon.

The space is lovely and the view is breathtaking! My family and I woke up every day and just gazed out the giant windows at how beautiful it was!
Location was great, it’s just a short walk to the city center, there is a small coffee shop and market near by to grab any little things you might need.

This beautiful flat is in a great location in Funchal. Great views on the city and the ocean. Nicely decorated, very comfortable beds and all amenities included. Within walking distance to the nice areas of Funchal. Private parking available. Last but not least, the staff of Travel to Madeira are communicative and extremely helpful. Thank you all for your nice welcome, we enjoyed our stay.

We can highly recommend staying at this apartment for a stay in Madeira. It‘s beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you need. The view from the living room is fantastic.
There’s a private parking and you can walk to the old town of Funchal within 15 minutes.

Great unit that was very clean and well located. View was outstanding and the space is newly renovated. The Mgmt company was also very helpful with finding baby sitters and communicating. I would certainly recommend this place to friends and family.

Fantastisch appartement. Ruim, schoon en prachtig uitzicht. Bij vragen snel antwoord. Parkeerplaats voor de deur. Mooie uitvalsbasis voor Funchal maar ook met auto makkelijk op pad.
