À côté, un jacuzzi pour se détendre. Si vous louez une voiture, la maison dispose d'un parking privé.

VUE D'ENSEMBLE DU QUARTIER
Insérée sur une route peu fréquentée, cette propriété n'est qu'à dix minutes du centre de Funchal, de ses services et de ses multiples restaurants. Ce quartier est assez calme. A proximité de la maison se trouvent une boulangerie, des cafés et des supermarchés. En trois minutes (en voiture), vous êtes au centre commercial Forum Madeira, où vous trouverez une grande variété de magasins, de supermarchés, de restaurants et de cinémas.

La meilleure option pour se rendre à la propriété est le transfert. Demandez-nous d'en organiser un avec nos partenaires locaux. C'est moins cher que les taxis que vous trouverez à l'aéroport. Si vous louez une voiture, n'importe quelle application de navigation trouvera facilement l'adresse.
Pour se rendre au centre de Funchal, il y a des arrêts de bus à proximité.

This is a great place. One of my favorite parts of our whole week in Madeira was arriving and exploring this property.

We were blessed with a sunny week in January and the views are stunning. There were nine of us and there was plenty of space. We loved the hot tub, used the kitchen, and dining room.

The property is about a half hour walk from the beach (all downhill), and an hour walk to the center of Funchal although I'm sure most people would opt for a short inexpensive Uber .

We really enjoyed our time.

The property was lovely. The view was spectacular. The pool was lovely other than that the underwater lights didn’t work and are never going to. Big disappointment with the hot tub. It was clear that although they were telling us they were going to fix it that it’s been broken for a while and it’s not going to be fixed. They gave us a pittance back to try to make us happy, but it wasn’t enough to make anyone happy. Two of the bathrooms had absolutely foul smells coming from the drains. We reported that and they said they would send someone but never did. We had to stuff toilet paper in the drains and unstuff them every time we wanted to use that fixture. Otherwise, the smell was unbearable.

This is a very spacious and wonderful property with fabulous panoramic sea views but which just needs some minor upgrades/attention to detail. As an example the shower in our bathroom did not work well, there was no bath plug (which we requested but was not addressed) and the rugs in the lounge were tired.

Having partly selected the property due to the fabulous hot tub, we were particularly disappointed to be informed shortly before we arrived that it would not be working during our stay. A refund was provided.

Despite having ordered an infant cot for our 7 month old granddaughter and high chair months prior, these had not been provided when we arrived at 8 pm. This was rectified same evening when we spoke to the host.

The surrounding area is very steep so a car hire is pretty essential. We also used Bolt taxis who were very efficient and would come right up to the property whereas we found other taxi companies would not.

All in all we had a very enjoyable family holiday

Jättefint hus med alla bekvämligheter. väluttrustad köksredskap. Inget i huset saknades. Allting var rent och fint. Poolen är supperfint, skönt och rent vatten, likaså i Jacuzzi. Vi älskade att kunna sitta ute och äta frukost och middag. Vi hade lite svårt att ta in oss i huset , men vi borde ha ringt innan, som det står på meddelandet . Kunde öppna dorrporten utan problem men inte den stora för att gå in med bilen. Men vi ringde ,( även om det var Söndag kväll och vår flygg blev lite sent ) , personalen svarade på en gång och vi fick alla instruktioner. Det gick bra . Vi uppskatade att bli informerade när poolexperten och trädgårdmästare skulle gå till huset för att utföra sitt jobb. Du bor själv i huset , men personalen svarar snabbt när du behöver kontakta dem, både via meddelande och telefon. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka till det huset❤️ Rekommenderar stark. ❤

Great Villa. Fantastic size. We were 2 families with 5 teenage kids. Pool is wonderful and the view is stunning. There is a villa currently being built below so a little construction noise, but nothing that 5 teens in a pool couldn’t drown out! The entrance to the villa is tricky to deal with at first as we had a mini van and it has a very steep ridge to get through the gates. Whatever vehicle you hire (and you WILL NEED one to be at this villa) take the option of full insurance. The islands roads are narrow and I’m sorry to say you are almost guaranteed to bump something.

There is no connected air conditioning so AC fans are provided, good but at night gets muggy.

Communication with Island Apart was perfection from start of booking to the end. Brilliant team.

Despite being a very big house, the mattresses were too soft or too hard. Some of the shutters did not open therefore not much natural light could enter the bedrooms. There were don’t lights fittings with no working globes leaving the rooms dark. There were no towels for the pool and the garden was not maintained at all. Tall grass was left at the front of the pool.
Some of the cutlery was dirty and bathrooms floor were not really clean. We had to wait for the property manager to meet us at the property to give us access. This, considering, we arrived at 7pm and we had two kids, it was not acceptable. The location was quite remote and not close to any decent amenities.

The villa is very spacious the rooms are big. The whole villa is great there was 6 adults and 1baby plenty of room. The views were spectacular. The pool and jacuzzi were used every day. The location is high up and you do have an incline to get into the villa which is in the corner. You can walk down to funchal about 30/50 minutes going down hill.recomend taxi back about 11euros.lovely bakery at the end of the road. The star of the villa is the peaceful location. The space and the views
They did have a travel cot which i know doesn't come with a matress which is rather hard for a baby to sleep on.it didn't stop the 14months from sleeping though but maybe a safe sleep matress just a suggestion

Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay at this house. It is massive with room for everyone to spread out. The kids loved having room to run around outside and were thrilled with the trampoline and pool table. The pool is not heated, so it was a bit chilly during our stay in early May, but the kids still took a dip. The hot tub was lovely. The view was the best part. Absolutely stunning view of the ocean.

Management was responsive and helpful when we reached out to fix a couple things. Everything was resolved quickly.

The only drawback of the property is that is a bit remote. High up on a hill and not walking distance to much. It was easy enough to get a Bolt to take us where we needed to go though. And of course, the view was spectacular.

Spacious with beautiful pool and a jacuzzi. Greate for large family holiday. Friendly staff who are responsive. Great views over the sea and stunning sunset.
Maintenance and upstaging is needed. Some main issues
1. Bedrooms with en suite had a sewer smell intermittently
2. Only one remote for gate and with large group need two cars so adds logistical difficulty
3. Several jets in jacuzzi do not work

It’s a stunning house, views are exceptional. It is a very spacious house, much more beautiful and bigger than in pictures. Really beautiful, great clean pool and jacuzzi.
We were a group that rented a house for a week. This is a house with a pool. We received one shower towel each, there were no hand towels or pool towels, toiletries were missing. House is massive and can accommodate many people,with that you need more glassware and it was also minimal. 1 room wasn’t cleaned properly. It’s an amazing house and I would come back but this little things also matter.

Really recommend staying here, such a beautiful location and plenty of space. Short drive away from lots of local amenities, is walkable too but some areas are quite hilly. The hosts were really responsive and able to sort out any issues we had quickly. Only problem was that the house got quite damp inside when it’s raining but other than that, we enjoyed our stay :) hot tub was great!

Such a fantastic Villa, it really is exactly like the pictures show. The beds are comfy with high quality mattresses and linen. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and of good size. The check in process was very smooth and flexible and the communication with the staff made things very easy. Plenty of areas to relax and sit and lots of sun beds in the garden. Spent a lot of time chilling on the terrace and in the pool with the fantastic view to the ocean. We will definitely be back in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at Vila Eucalypto. The villa is beautiful and the An Island team were responsive in every way and accommodated our needs completely. The pool and Jacuzzi are maintained in great condition and the pool is nice and deep at one end. The beds were very comfy and the quality of the linen was good. It was an awesome place to stay with friends, I hope we will be able to return one day. Would highly recommend staying here.

I highly recommend this vila for everyone who wants to have a wonderful time in Madeira. Very good equiped, it has even to much space for our group of 9 colleagues. When arrived we did not even managed find the fifth bedroom, how big it is!

Great place, so spacious and comfortable. Amazing views to the sea. Very peaceful spot. Location requires a car (but useful for exploring the Island in any case). Shame the hot tub wasn't working, but otherwise an amazing stay!

Absolutely beautiful view, with a lovely pool and hot tub. Really spacious and comfy beds. Location was a bit mixed, very tranquil, but not much nearby in terms of restaurants or anything and the walk down to the waterfront was very steep and not very pleasant, so basically you need to drive or take a taxi everywhere. Little bit of noise during weekdays from building work directly in front (but below and out of sight) of the villa - hopefully this will be over soon?
Great for groups of friends.

It was amazing to stay here with my family with a beautiful view, although we feel there needs to be a little bit of money spent on improvements in the villa for it to be completely worth the cost.
We also didn’t appreciate the ‘pool specialists’ turning up unannounced and jumping the gate when we were in the pool or sunbathing.

Fantastic ocean view from the large private and beautiful garden. Very good beds. Great location in a usually quiet area, with short distance by car to central parts of Madeira.
We really enjoy the spacious feeling this property gives and the peace and rest you get.
With some small adjustments in follow up of details this house is fully recommended to all semi large groups. We were 7 adults this time and 6 adults + a larger group of children three years ago.
Building noise from the closest property, but this will obviously finish soon.
The first floor balconies were not clean, and broken glass on the floor in the kitchen. The lovely garden was not maintained in same shape as three years back. A bit dry. Some of this might be due to frost damages due to harder winter than usual.

What a fantastic location. We managed without a car for a week. If you are fairly fit you can walk down the hill to the Levada, dos Piornais which takes you to Camara de Lobos in one direction and Funchal City in the other. Taxis back home are easily found and are good value. We also walked down to the Forum Shopping Centre and the Lido.

Evenings were spent on the terrace in the peace and quiet. A very relaxing and comfortable villa.

I am very picky when it comes to choosing accommodation for our trips. This was one of the best places we've ever stayed at. The location is perfect - quiet street, very safe and the view is amazing. You can rent a car or use taxi - 10Euro will get you to Funchal center. The house is very clean and well maintained. Kitchen is very well equipped. The property is very spacious. We were a party of 6 (with 3 kids) and sometimes I couldn't even find my kids in the house. The staff is amazing - always there to answer any questions, provide suggestions and help out. They also gave us suggestions for where to eat and where to go. There is a bakery, small grocery store and few restaurants within walking distance. Don't overthink it - book this place and you won't regret it.

Very beautiful spacious Villa with lots of rooms and amenities.
Some maintenance issues with Pool Lights and Dryer not spinning.
The entrance for a car is not that easy as it is very steep and you have to make a sharp turn. Bit after a few times, you will get use to it.
Apart from that, all is perfect for a big group.

The house is beautifully located-- amazing views, not too far from Funchal proper. Most of the rooms are bright. All are spacious. The house is well designed, and well-equiped.

One room was on the dark side, because if you open up the ground floor French doors, then bugs come in. But it's a minor point.

The points of improvement:
- The cleaning people were still in the house when we checked in, even though we checked in after the check-in time. We were fine with that, but the cleaners themselves told me they didn't have enough time to do a good job, as the house is so big. Accordingly some of the floors were still a bit dirty.
- The property manager is hard to reach. They asked us to contact them the day before or day of to see if we could check in early. Fabio didn't respond to my text or pick up his phone. When we had an issue with the water, again no one picked up the phone. We had to contact them via VRBO. That said, when they did call us back, they took care of the issue as well as we could have hoped.
- There was an ant infestation. (kitchen, and entrance to 2 of the bedrooms). When we pointed it out, they took care of it, which was great. But I gather it's a recurring issue.

The above is not to dissuade people from the house. On the contrary, the setting is superb, we loved the jacuzzi, and the location, and the house itself was spacious and beautifully designed. Also, enclosed garden so you don't worry about the kids getting lost. We were very happy there.

The house is about 4 km from downtown Funchal and has a nice view. There is a big Supermarket in the near. The car entrance is a little bit complicated.
To sit in the whirlpool in the evening is great.
The house is very big. 3 living rooms. One with a billard table.
All is clean.
Unfortunately there was not 1 bottle of water or a few bananas there (we arrived after midnight) and we had nothing to eat and to drink until the next day.

The villa was even nice than the pictures and description suggested: the location and views are outstanding, the pool and jacuzzi were excellent and the villa is very generously proportioned. Supermarket was 5 minutes away, the sea and tennis courts 7 minutes and access to the main highway on the island is very convenient too.
In summary, a great place to stay and we would certainly consider coming back.

You won’t be disappointed with the property and the appointments.
Drop off your bags and do an inventory before going to the Supermarket.
You may need to buy some sundry items eg a corkscrew and wine glasses.
We would be happy to book the facility and use Travel to Madeira again.

Perfect villa - responsive hosts! My family loved the private villa, not overlooked by anyone so we could really treat this as a home from home.

Some days, all we did was walk 10 minutes to the local supermarket and stay in all day.

Well, it is a beautiful villa. All generous bedroom sizes, large communal areas. Stunning outlook from pool area. And Madeira is a very special place to visit!

Two small downsides: the incredibly steep road to access the villa. We scraped our hire cars on the bottom of the front bumper every time coming in and out of the driveway. Just make sure to either get a larger car (4x4) or the extra insurance to reduce your excess to zero. The second: it’s not in easy walking distance to any amenities. Primarily due to the steep roads without pavements. It is not a far drive though, many supermarkets/shops within five/ ten minutes.

I was also really impressed with the travel to Madeira team who communicated well, and were very helpful and friendly. And the villa was very clean upon arrival. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

It’s been a great experience to be in the Villa. It is an amazing place for families with kids. We loved it! Everything went smoothly and communication with Andre and Filipa has been wonderful. We had a minor issue with the gate, but they sorted it out so quickly and even offered us to pay for the taxis, which eventually we didn’t need it. They truly have provided the best experience for us. Amazing place and people! Thank you very much!
