Pina I est un appartement moderne à la décoration originale et artistique.

Une bonne décoration aide à choisir l'espace où vous passerez vos prochaines vacances ! Le confort et une subtile touche artistique personnalisée, créés pour cet appartement, vous feront passer des vacances qui vous rempliront le cœur de bonnes sensations.

Avec deux chambres et beaucoup de lumière naturelle, cet appartement a été récemment rénové pour donner un maximum de confort à tous ceux qui profiteront de cette magnifique propriété.
L'ensemble de l'appartement vous invite à passer un bon moment, dans une combinaison de la merveilleuse vue sur la baie de la ville et de l'intervention créative de l'artiste, Carla Cabral.
La propriété est proche du centre ville (cinq minutes à pied), et des accès routiers qui vous permettent de vous déplacer rapidement vers l'est ou l'ouest de l'île.
Avec une capacité maximale de quatre personnes, la maison est entièrement équipée de tous les équipements de base.

VUE D'ENSEMBLE DU QUARTIER
Les clients ont un accès facile à plusieurs restaurants dans les environs. La plupart des magasins, centres commerciaux et supermarchés se trouvent à quinze minutes de marche.
Cet appartement est situé à proximité du célèbre marché des fermiers (Mercado dos Lavradores), du centre historique de Funchal (connu localement sous le nom de "Zona Velha") et de la cathédrale. De là, vous pourrez explorer à pied la plupart des principales attractions touristiques de notre belle ville. (par exemple, le téléphérique, la marina de Funchal, le musée CR7, le Madeira Wine Lodge, etc...)

SE RENDRE
Bien qu'un arrêt d'aérobus pour les arrivées et les départs de l'aéroport se trouve à 20 minutes à pied de l'appartement, nous recommandons le service de transfert privé comme la meilleure option pour se rendre à l'appartement. Contactez-nous à l'avance pour réserver une voiture de transfert privé auprès de nos partenaires locaux. C'est moins cher que de prendre un taxi tout seul à l'aéroport !

Veuillez noter qu'une taxe touristique sera facturée à toutes les personnes qui passent la nuit dans la municipalité de Funchal. Ainsi, tous les clients séjournant dans des stations touristiques et/ou des établissements d'hébergement, âgés de 13 ans ou plus, devront payer 2,00 € par personne/nuit, jusqu'à un maximum de 7 nuits et un maximum de 14,00 € par personne/séjour. Lors de votre arrivée, vous recevrez un lien pour payer cette taxe municipale.

Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Das Apartment ist geräumig und gut geeignet für mehrere Personen. Besonders die Aussicht auf Meer hat uns gut gefallen. Außerdem haben wir immer einen Parkplatz vor der Tür gefunden.

Leider war das Rollo bei unserer Ankunft im Wohnbereich kaputt. Wir mussten uns selbst um eine Lösung kümmern und von den Betreiber*innen gab es leider nach einer Beschwerde keine Hilfe.
Ansonsten hat die Kommunikation gut funktioniert.

Die Unterkunft war größtenteils sauber, doch hatten wir teilweise dunkle Flecken auf der Bettdecke.

Was nicht in der Verantwortung der Betreiber*innen liegt, aber trotzdem anzumerken ist: Vor dem Haus wird ein Hund in einem sehr kleinen Zwinger gehalten. Der Hund wirkt vernachlässigt, was sehr traurig mitanzusehen ist.

Top locatie, dichtbij parkeergarage Santa Luzia en supermarkt. Op korte loopafstand kan je je bagage kwijt om tijd te overbruggen. Ruim appartement, frisse uitstraling en prachtig uitzicht..Aan veel is gedacht zoals keukentools, maar ook een fohn etc. Bedden liggrn heerlijk.

Great location and views of the city. The apartment had basic necessities - kettle, filtered coffee maker (American style), washing machine, stove etc. Cheap travel with Bolt/taxi and 15 minutes to downtown/shopping by foot (downhill, we opted for Bolt for the way back).
Coffee machine. My personal preference is the Nespresso machine.
A small bottle of shampoo would have been great.

Der Service von An Island war super. Die Wohnung war bei Ankunft sehr sauber und es gibt jede Woche eine kleine Reinigung inkl. Neuer Handtücher und Bettwäsche nach Wunsch. Bei Problemen wurde sofort unterstütz.

Unserer Meinung nach Stimmt bei der Wohnung leider das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Die Möbel haben teils deutliche Nutzungsspuren. Das Bad hat anfänglich sehr intensiv nach Chlor gerochen, als der Geruch verflogen war, kam ein sehr unangenehmer Geruch aus dem Abfluss. Bei unserer Ankunft waren ein Fenster, der Ofen und die Mikrowelle defekt, wurden auf Nachfrage zügig zumindest anteilig repariert.
Der Hängestuhl war bei uns wohl leider gerade defekt und die Neubestellung war wohl exakt in den drei Wochen unseres Urlaubs.
Letztlich, wofür der Anbieter nicht kann: direkt unter dem Fenster der Wohnung haben die Nachbarn einen Hund in einem sehr kleinen Zwinger. Das hat uns persönlich die schöne Aussicht leider verdorben.

The apartment has a spacious living area and offers a beautiful view of the city and the sea. It is located in a multi-family building, about 10-15 minutes away from the city center. However, the walk uphill is quite steep, and parking can be challenging at times. The apartment and its amenities show some signs of wear and tear. Unfortunately, on our last day, there was no water (without prior notice), and the host took some time to respond. Overall, I would recommend the apartment.

Airbnb bien placé avec une super vue ! Attention, belle montée pour arriver à l’appartement et matériel dans la cuisinière assez long (plaque et fours prennent du temps à se mettre en route).
Pas de climatiseur, et un seul ventilateur donc prévoir si besoin !

Wir 4 Mädels waren super zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Super großräumiges Appartement mit allem was man braucht. Sehr sauber, bequeme Betten und schnelle Rückmeldung bei Fragen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit atemberaubenden Ausblick über die Stadt in Richtung Ozean. Die Wohnung war sauber und entsprach der Beschreibung. Wir haben immer einen Parkplatz im Umkreis von 200m gefunden. Check-In und Check-Out haben tadellos funktioniert, genau wie die freundliche Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und tolle Restaurants sind in der Nähe. In 15-20 Minuten ist man auch am Hafen. Zum Apartment führt eine recht steile Straße. Mit Koffern und ohne Auto kann es sehr mühsam sein, das Apartment zu erreichen. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.

Appartement sur les hauteurs de Funchal, avec une très belle vue vers le port. Le centre est facilement accessible à pied, en 20 minutes on est au port. L'appartement est lumineux et bien situé. Le hamac a fait le bonheur des enfants. Seul bémol, les aboiements des chiens la nuit, mais c'est valable pour tout Funchal apparemment...

We spent 3 days here and loved every minute of it! The view of the city is beautiful, and the swinging seat looking out over the city is just the cherry on top. The beds were very comfortable, the place was tidy, and overall the apartment was very spacious. We were able to find parking on the street everyday, although some days/times were trickier than others. This apartment is located at the top of a hill and on the top floor of the apartment building, so may not be suitable for the elderly or those with mobility issues.

Beautiful apartment!! The view was amazing and the house was nicely furnished. The kitchen is very modern and clean. The hosts were very kind and responsive to our questions. There were some issues with the sink that they immediately fixed. We even got a midweek clean as well as clean sheets and towels. However, the bathroom sometimes smelled a bit.
The view does come at the price of driving up a steep road, but this seems inevitable in a city like Funchal. And we were always able to find a parking spot either in front of the door or just around the corner.
We would definitely recommend this airbnb!

I overall enjoyed my 5 week stay here. Beautiful view and it felt cozy. Because I stayed so long they did have the apartment cleaned every week which was very nice. One thing that was very difficult for my sensitive nose was the smell of the bathroom. Could be simply because it’s an older building but it was bothersome. I bought air fresheners but still the smell was strong and unpleasant. Not sure this is fixable or not, but regardless I would stay here again. Thank you for the stay!

Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, der Ausblick super und die Schlüsselübergabe lief perfekt ab.
Es war nicht so gut geputzt, wir fanden einige Haarbüschel von Vormietern auf dem Boden und die Toilette roch nicht gut.
Die Wohnung liegt sehr am Berg und es gibt keine Supermärkte in der Nähe. Eignet sich eher für Wanderer.

We had a good time in this appartment with a group of 4 friends. There’s a nice kitchen and a washing machine and the view from the appartment is amazing. The appartment is just a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre (beware, the road is very steep). Would recommend!

The apartment was clean, bright and had everything we needed. The view from the living room and the master bedroom was stunning, we liked to watch cruise ships docking or leaving the port.
The location is great too, 15 mins walk to the city centre, the return is a bit challenging as the apartment is up on a steep hill but it was no problem for us. We prefer a bit of an effort for the amazing views.
The contact free check in and check out were very easy and the recommendations for restaurants were great.

Danke für die schöne Zeit auf Madeira! Wohnung in guter Lage, sehr steil zum täglichen hochlaufen, das ist aber überall auf Madeira so . Hat alles reibungslos geklappt auch der Abholservice war super. Leider hatten wir hier und da Probleme mit dem Strom und es hat an einem Nachmittag von der Decke getropft, der Vermieter war aber da und konnte das Problem in kurzer Zeit lösen.

The apartment is well equipped with everything you need it is very close to the city center. I really liked the friendly neighbours, on the first day they helped us to carry up our luggages and bags. Everyone around was very friendly, we borrowed the scales at the last of our stay to weigh our luggages before the fly and she was happy to lend it. We've been in Madeira for 2 weeks with a 7 months baby. The only inconvenience is a steep uphill going back to the apratment from the ciry centre. But it's Madeira and almost all apartments are at the steep uphills.

The flat has everything one needs however there are some issues that still need improvement (e.g. house's smells, celling dreaping, ...). Unfortunately we also experienced some other issues (hot water outage) and miscommunication from the host, however we allways saw the host wanted us to have a nice stay and tried to solve all issues. I spend 6 weeks in the apartment and enjoyed it a lot. WiFi speed is totally fine for working. The street up to the apartment is very steep but that‘s just how it is in Funchal. Walking up can be exhausting though so you should be reasonably fit. The location is pretty good it takes around 15 minutes to the oldtown. It can happen that there are no free parking spots directly next to the apartment. But finding one in general wasn’t a problem at all. The apartment itself is very clean and modern. The view from the big window is amazing. Cleaning staff came once a week. The agency is very responsive and ready to help. I would definitely book this property again.

Die Lage ist fantastisch. Man sieht über ganz Funchal, was am Morgen und am Abend toll ist. Man ist zu Fuss in 10-15 min im Stadtzentrum. Der Weg ist eher steil, aber es ist gut machbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern eingerichtet.
Manchmal hat es etwas komisch gerochen in der Unterkunft. Der Wasserdruck bei der Dusche ist sehr schlecht.

A great place to stay in Funchal for a group of friends!
The apartment has a stunning view of the ocean and everything you may need for even for a longer stay. It's spacious and easily accommodates a group of four. The location is really nice, being in the more quiet part of Funchal while still within comfortable walking distance to the centre and beach. The return home is uphill, but that is just how Funchal is; nothing a couple of ponchas or great Madeira wine won't help you overcome!
In our experience, the place is superior to apartments in the centre, as it is really easy to find a free place to park your rented car and easily start your every trip around the beautiful island of Maderia with its many wonders.
Last but not the least, the communication with the hosts is great - they are very helpful, responsive and even can provide some extra services, like arranging a pickup from the airport.
We strongly recommend this Airbnb.

The view from the apartment was absolutely amazing. It was a real joy to watch the cruise ships come and go. The apartment building was quiet and situated close-ish to the main part of Funchal. There was a smaller supermarket close by (but with limited opening hours) and a snack bar/café just at the end of the street. It was extremely well appointed for a family with kids with almost everything you'd need to self-cater. A bonus: Uber Eats delivers to the address!
Funchal is extremely hilly, so although the apartment is not too far from the main town and an easy walk down the hill, it is an absolute slog to walk back to. It is, however, easy enough to reach by public transport (Bus 22) but BE WARNED, this bus has a fairly irregular timetable past 6pm. At the time of writing this review (Feb 2020) the last 22 on weekends was 8:30pm and weekdays 8:45pm. There is another bus that has a closer stop (Bus 70) but it's timetable is so sporadic we didn't use it once. FYI, Bus 22 leaves from the bus station closer to the teleferico end of town, not the market end.

As I mentioned above, this apartment has almost everything you need, but I would add one small critique: if you have younger children (mine are 2 and 4), there was no child friendly crockery so there was a constant fear of breaking the plates/glasses etc. This is a very minor point, however, and really only applies in my situation.

A few extra things worth mentioning (but not deal-breakers, in my opinion): the water pressure in the shower is almost non-existent and the mattress in the main bedroom is extremely (read "rock") firm. I was not aware of a vacuum cleaner either, which is a pity, because the apartment (especially the rug in the main room) could have done with a very good vacuum.

Appartement très agréable, l'accueil était rapide et efficace. Nous étions 6 jeunes et l'appartement est assez spacieux pour ne pas avoir l'impression de se marcher dessus. La cuisine est très pratique et fonctionnelle. La vue est sublime et les chambres confortables. La salle de bain est propre mais manque un peu d'aération donc il y a parfois des odeurs mais ce n'est pas très dérangeant.

The view was perfect for the new years fireworks. It was so nice to have this view. Because it's outside of the center there was free parking for our rental car. Going to the center was a not too long walk down and we took an Uber back up (about 4 euros) since busses dont go often, cost 2 euro per person and you still need to walk on the very steep roads. It was nice and spacious for 2 people. And there were not a lot of restaurants nearby but bringeat brought food right to the door or we cooked ourselves of course. We stayed here over a week and had a great time, we would definitely come back!
The bed was so hard we decided to sleep the last nights on the sofa. The bathroom didn't have space to put things and the water pressure in the shower was really low. Also some other minor issues that need to be fixed like the lock on the window or the smell from the bathroom drains. The hanging rope chair is broken so doesn't sit comfortably anymore.

We stayed one week and enjoyed our stay very much. The view over the ocean is great. The Appartement is sunny and even in winter it’s warm and does not need heating. There is no private parking and looking for a parking space can be annoying. We liked the appartement except for the bathroom, that had bad smell and got a bit old.

Die Lage war sehr zentral. Toller Ausblick auf den Hafen. Ausreichend öffentliche Parkplätze auf der Straße. Wir konnten den Mietwagen immer gut abstellen nach unseren Ausflügen.

The Airbnb has beautiful views of the coast! Highly recommend staying here! The town of Madeira is very hilly, however it is a close walk to the center of the town. It’s super easy to check in/out of and communication was very quick!

Nothing is perfect and this apartment is no exception. It's placed on a steep and narrow street, with limited parking (as the rest of Funchal for that matter) and with two flights of stairs with no elevator.
But the accommodations are pretty sweet. It's got an open living and dining room, with a large enough sofa and table to seat everybody. Two bed rooms, one with a double bed, the other with two singles. Sure, it's all furnished with Ikea but everything is functional.
The kitchen is fully equipped, only lacking in those small items one can't share with other guests: tables cloths, napkins, those sort of things.The refrigerator is somewhat noisy. Bothersome during the night.
The only bathroom is roomy but a little poor on furniture, making it somewhat uncomfortable for a small family. The shower is on a tub and age starting to settle. And it tends to smell somewhat like a sewer sometimes. Keeping the windows open throughout the day solved that.
But the best part is the view you get over the city. That was pretty sweet. We even got to see a Saturday night fireworks show from the "balcony". That was lovely.
Finally, my kids and wife thought it was great and one of the best we've encountered on our holidays. That says something, right?

We had a great 3 night stay here. We had a rental car so we drove everywhere and only made the trek back to the place one time. It's not a bad walk though if you don't have a car (I'm 6 months pregnant). The place itself is nice & check in was easy. Don't forget to pack your shampoo like we did ! The views are great and it's very spacious. Shower stays hot for a while and the beds were comfy. There's a good breeze when you leave the doors open for sleeping but the outside noises can be a bit loud. I'd definitely stay here again. Madeira is a wonderful place!

Great apartment with amazing view! Awesome value and great standard of cleanliness. The only thing to mention is that if you don’t have a car during your stay, be prepared to walk up a steep road to get to te flat. We didn’t mind because of the reward (view!) at the end and the great workout it gave us :D

We spent a week in this apartment over New Year. The views are amazing and provided us with the perfect place to watch the incredible New Year firework display.

The apartment is located only 10min walk from the seafront down a steep hill. Walking up again can be a challenge, but taxis are plentiful and cheap.
Funchal is a lovely place to visit.

The apartment itself is clean and spacious with many basic amenities. The hosts were easy to communicate with and accomodating, organising a pick up from the airport.

I would recommend this place for a week away in Madeira.

Vue fantastique comme devant un tableau. Equipement simple avec cependant tout le nécessaire. Bon confort d'ensemble dans un appartement au beau volume. Le quartier est très calme quoique légèrement excentrée mais "facilement" accessible à pieds (attention, ça monte!). Staff compétent et très cordial (merci Francisco).

Beautiful apartment with fantastic views over the town and harbour of Funchal. (But the fantastic views do mean that it's a steep walk back from town. Taxis are cheap though).

We were so impressed with the size and cleanliness of the apartment and the view from the window was fabulous !
The representative who gave us the keys could not have been more helpful and had good English.
On arrival home we tried to book again for next year but there was no availability for the dates we wanted. Proof that it's a good place to stay.
( The dates we wanted were 30th May to 13th June 2018 )

Très bon séjour à Funchal dans cet appartement.
Une vue de malade sur la ville et un appartement propre et conforme à l'annonce.
Le check in s'est bien passé avec Filippa qui parle très bien anglais.
L'appartement est bien placé à 15 minutes à pied du centre de Funchal. Mais attention, gardez de la force pour remonter la côte au retour.
Des commerces alimentaires de proximité facilite le séjour.

O apartamento era lindissímo, tal e qual como nas fotos! Vista absolutamente incrível, decoração muito bonita e as camas eram bastante confortáveis! Para quem quiser aceder a pé sentirá alguma dificuldade porque este fica numa colina muito inclinada, mas para quem tem carro a localização é perfeita porque fica perto do centro. A comunicação tanto com o André como com a Sofia, que nos recebeu, foi rápida e impecável!! Quanto a sugestões, o wi-fi era um pouco fraco, apesar de ter servido para o que precisámos... e a água do chuveiro corria pouquíssimo. Fora estes dois minúsculos pormenores, foi uma estadia 5 estrelas! Recomendamos!! Obrigada

Wow what a view!!! We had a fabulous time. As a family of 5, we stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks.

Francisco opened up and showed us around the apartment. He was very helpful.

Andre was always very quick to respond. He also organised to have a crib set up for my 19 month old. This was a very lovely thought. There was also a special towel for her too. Very cute

We also hired a car and we always had a spot to park right in front of the apartment.

The walk in to town was closer then l thought. The walk up was definitely a work out, but nothing wrong with burning off a few calories after lunch/dinner :)

Andre also organised our private itransfers from/to the airport.

The kitchen had everything we needed. The washing machine was also very handy.

I will definitely be recommending this apartment to family and friends.

Andre's place is as described - very stylish, clean and comfortable. The place has all the amenities needed for a restful stay. It is in a quite neighborhood with parking space available. We even used the washing machine and all went well. Well located in Funchal close to downtown and the marina

Appartement superbe. La déco est sympa, on se croirait dans un appartement témoin Ikea :-) Vue sur l'océan et le port, c'est sympa quand les énormes bateaux accostent. La cuisine est plutôt bien équipée pour se faire des petits plats et les chambres sont confortables. C'est conforme aux photos et à la description.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im PINA Appartement sehr genossen. Besonders der Blick über ganz Funchal hat es uns angetan. Die Küche hatte alles, was man brauchte um sich morgens ein Frühstück zu zaubern. Check- IN, Kommunikation und Sauberkeit war alles reibungslos und perfekt. In ca. 10min (sehr steile Straße) ist man direkt im Zentrum von Funchal....was jedoch insbesondere für mich (schwanger) doch etwas anstrengend war besonders beim Aufstieg. Die Parksituation für das Mietauto ist etwas schwierig in der Umgebung aber mit ein wenig Glück findet man einen Parkplatz. Ingesamt war für uns die Wohnung für drei Tage aber dennoch wirklich schön und wir können sie nur weiterempfehlen.

Notre séjour à l appartement à été superbe. La vue est juste splendide les levers de soleil sublime. L appartement est bien conçu et cosy et impeccablement propre. Le seul point négatif est l odeur d égout très désagréable dans la salle de bain mais en laissant la fenêtre ouverte cela passe.....
L appartement est situé au 3eme étage sans ascenseur mais cela ne nous a pas déranger dans une petite rue très calme. Carolina qui nous a accueillie était très aimable et nous a donner de bonnes adresses.... Dans la cuisine il manque quelques ustensiles à mon goût comme des bols une essoreuse à salade des plats de services mais on s adapté avec ce que l on avait... Dans la salle de bains un manque évident de rangement pour poser nos affaires de toilettes qui sont rester par terre.....
Avons appréciez le hamac face à la mer la télévision et les lits très confortables. Nous reviendrons à Funchal c est sur car nous sommes rentrés depuis jours et mes pensées se trouvent encore là bas....
