This beautiful house is located 15 minutes by car from the center of Calheta, more precisely in the upper area of the municipality, where the stunning sea view and beautiful sunshine delight our visitors. The view of the vast ocean, together with the swimming pool, give character and personality to this pleasant cottage, which offers: two bedrooms (one with a double bed, another with twin beds), two bathrooms, a living room with plenty of natural light and access to the balcony, a mezzanine, and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition to the outdoor pool, you can enjoy leisure time playing ping-pong or improving your darts skills. To gather friends or family, the house has a barbecue area, perfect for your favorite dishes. In this area of the island, you will find various activities, from guided walks to diving in the crystal-clear waters of Calheta. The property has all necessary amenities, including private parking inside the property. THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW Situated in the west, this house is in the most sun-exposed area of Madeira Island. About 15 minutes’ drive away is the center of Calheta, where you will find the yellow sand beach, several restaurants, and a supermarket. Calheta also has the Museum of Contemporary Art, a fantastic architectural masterpiece. Jardim do Mar and Paúl do Mar are a 20-minute drive away—these two small villages offer beach, entertainment, and unique beauty. Nearby, you will find small bars/restaurants and grocery stores. GETTING AROUND We recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the house. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi on your own from the airport! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the house. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We are always at your disposal to help or answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (e.g., passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior to arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair, and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher, and fire blanket are available in all properties. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee. Check-out: by 10:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
