This comfortable one-bedroom flat, located at the entrance to the Port of Funchal, is ideal for up to four people. With one bedroom, two single beds and a sofa bed, it guarantees enough space for all guests. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and offers all the practicality and comfort needed for your stay.
From the balcony you can take in the breathtaking sea views. This area includes a seating area, making it perfect for enjoying moments outdoors. The living room is cosy and functional, equipped with a dining area and cable TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dining table.
The flat is located in a building with a lift and has Wi-Fi available in all areas.
This one-bedroom flat is the ideal choice for those who want to enjoy a city holiday, given its proximity to the centre of Funchal. It offers all the necessary facilities for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
AREA
The Princesa Dona Amélia flat is located in the same building as the Cristiano Ronaldo Museum, 850 metres from the Funchal Marina and a 15-minute walk from the city's Old Town.

Guests have easy access to various restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets, including a nearby beach and seafront promenade. Perfect location for exploring the city on foot (within a 5-15 minute walk of the cathedral, the marina, Santa Catarina Park, Funchal Municipal Garden, Baltazar Dias Theatre, Electricity Museum). There's a Pingo Doce supermarket in Plaza Shopping.
Don't miss the experience of taking a cable car to Monte or the Botanical Gardens. You can also walk to the starting point (10 minutes).
You should also be aware that in the centre of Funchal there are various tourist attractions and information on cultural activities, extreme activities and nature activities, whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island.
Madeira International Airport is about 23 kilometres away by car.
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
There are bus stops near the apartment.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.
INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

After that, guests may cancel up to 5 days prior to check-in and receive a refund of the price per night and the cleaning fee, but not of the service fee.

-apartament jest zlokalizowany w porcie i trzeba mieć świadomość ewentualnego hałasu spowodowanego załadunkiem statku pływającego do Porto Santo i statkami pasażerskim które cumują w poblizu
-przed apartamentem budowana jest sala koncertowa i jeżeli ktoś chce spędzać czas na balkonie musi się liczyć z ewentualnym hałasem.
nie było taki rzeczy które mi się nie podobały bo świadomie podjąłem decyzję.

Und der Tiefgaragen Stellplatz.
Es ist alles Vorhanden.
Die Baustelle direkt vor der Tür.
Und die klospülung war defekt, haben von uns aus das Wasser abgedreht.
Vermieter bescheid gegeben, leider keine Antwort bekommen.
Müll entsorgung, außerhalb der Wohnung leider nicht beschrieben, nur mit
"5 Minuten entfernt"
Haben denn Müll nach Vorschrift sortiert und in der Wohnung stehen gelassen.

Як ми приїхали, нам довелось довго чекати, щоб нам відкрили і ми могли поставити свої речі. Потім нам не сказали, де знаходиться гараж, ми не одразу зрозуміли де він. Вдень може бути гучно, тому що зараз навпроти квартири будується дім, але ввечері, вночі та зранку тихо.

Jeśli chodzi o samo mieszkanie bardzo duże i przestronne jak dla dwóch osób. W kuchni dostępne najważniejsze rzeczy oraz takie rzeczy jak sól, olej, herbaty. Dostępny był również toster :). W mieszkaniu jest również pralka oraz proszek do prania. W sypialni są 2 oddzielne łóżka na których mi zależało co ciężko było znaleźć. Wszystkie okna mają widok na morze. W czasie kiedy przebywałam w obiekcie był remont za oknem o którym zostałam wcześniej poinformowana ale nie wpływa to na ocenę ponieważ ani trochę nie był uciążliwy, a był atrakcja. Z balkonu wieczorem można obserwować przypływający statek z Porto Santo.
Mieszkanie wygląda dokładnie tak jak na zdjęciach. Dostępne są ręczniki oraz suszarka.
Nie było niczego takiego :)

We're glad you sent us your review of our property and that you liked the apartment and its location.
Regarding the renovations noise, I'm sorry you had to go through that as it's something we can't control in a building with several residents in different apartments. As for the air conditioning, it is not one of the amenities included in this property as you can see from the property description.
The problems of mold and stench will be resolved as soon as possible so that future guests don't have to go through the same experience.

Although this is only a temporary issue - the current building work directly outside and beneath the apartment was extremely noisy from very early in the morning, to 7pm each evening. This really impacted our holiday and was at times very uncomfortable. There should have been information about this in advance. The building work is extensive and will be going on for a long time, so be warned!
