Luxurious apartment for vacations in Madeira, with three suites, balcony and communal pool on the rooftop of a recently built building in one of the most central areas of Funchal.

AREA
The property is located in the center of Funchal, Madeira Island. Take advantage of your stay to explore this town, which offers countless possibilities! Take advantage of the apartment's proximity to the Mercado dos Lavradores. Guests have easy access to various restaurants, bars, stores and supermarkets, including a nearby beach and promenade.
Perfect location for exploring the city on foot (within a 5-15 minute walk of the cathedral, marina, CR7 Museum, Santa Catarina Park, Funchal Municipal Garden, Baltazar Dias Theatre, Electricity Museum), by car (parking nearby) and by public transport (bus stop right outside the building). There is a Pingo Doce supermarket in the Anadia Shopping center.
Don't miss the experience of taking the cable car to Monte or the Botanical Garden. You can also walk to the starting point (5-7 minutes).
You should also know that in the center of Funchal there are several tourist attractions and information on cultural activities, extreme activities, nature activities, whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island.
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.
INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

The only negative thing is that its very central and there is a water canal passing by the property. So the noise level can be disturbing if you wanna hang out in the balcony or with open windows but thats expected when you book a very central property.

All bedrooms benefit from blackout blinds & net curtains. All the blinds/curtains are electric and operated via remote controls.
The apartments central location is ideal for exploring Funchal on foot., access to shops, restaurants and other services (Hop on Hop Off Buses, Cable Car & local bus station).The lifts were always available. Disposing of Rubbish using the shoot system adjacent to the lifts on each floor was great.
The communal pool on the 6th floor, although cold was still usable & provided great views. The coffee machine is made by Delta & we found pods in the very nearby supermarket. All in all a great visit.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic Airbnb in Funchal, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. This spacious and comfortable apartment was ideally located, putting us within walking distance of the city's vibrant center, beautiful beaches, and charming old town.
The apartment itself was perfect for our family of four. The layout was well-designed, offering plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals at home. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern.
One of the things we loved most about this Airbnb was the outdoor space. The balcony offered stunning views of the city and was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the warm evenings.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always available to answer our questions and provide recommendations for local attractions and restaurants.

The unit needed a deep clean. We found all sorts of “gifts” from a used eyeliner pen from a previous guest to a piece of an orange peel and lots of crumbs in the creases of the dining room table chairs.
The instructions left by the property management company need updating. The wifi information was incorrect and the instructions for accessing the recycling room were so confusing we ended up lost on the parkade. Thankfully the door man helped us out.
Lastly, the master bedroom had quite a bit of road noise from trucks and buses passing by and restaurants across the street. For a brand new and modern place, I was surprised the soundproofing wasn’t better. I am a light sleeper and was often woken up by the traffic noise.

We do, however, apologize for the cleanliness issues you encountered. We assure you that this is not up to our usual standards and we will be addressing this with our cleaning staff to ensure a more thorough job is done in the future.
We're also sorry to hear about the confusion with the instructions left by the property management company, especially concerning the wifi and recycling room access. We will make sure to update these for better clarity.
Regarding the noise, we understand how this could have been disruptive, especially as a light sleeper. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will explore possible solutions to minimize noise disturbances in the future.

We were able to access all of Funchal’s many tourist attractions within walking distance.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were only steps away and every location we tried served a fantastic meal.
The only negative were the “BTI’s” (Buses, Trucks and Idiots) … definitely loud and annoying.
We would go back to this location.

The only downside is the noise from the traffic as the apartment is situated on the first floor straight above a bus stop on a busy road.
But it is only a small cost to pay for this centrally located wonderful apartment.
