Upon entering, you will find a space carefully designed to provide comfort and practicality. With a dining area, a work area, closet, two single beds and a sofa bed for children, in open space, this apartment can accommodate up to three people, being ideal for a romantic getaway, with family or friends.
The kitchen, although small, is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals; the bathroom is complete and offers a shower cabin. From the most basic utensils to modern appliances, everything has been thought of so that you can enjoy a worry-free stay.
This apartment is perfect for those who want to explore and have a more urban travel experience. Being in the heart of the city, surrounded by cultural attractions, stores, and leisure options, as well as essential services such as supermarkets, pharmacies and public transportation, makes the stay much more convenient.
AREA
Accommodation inserted in a building located in the Funchal city centre. From this building, you can get to know and visit on foot the main points of interest of the capital of Madeira Island. It is close to restaurants, the Farmers Market, Funchal’s Cathedral, Municipal Garden, Municipal Theater, Funchal’s Marina, shopping centers, supermarkets, bars and museums.
In the city center there is a lot of information about all kinds of activities you can do during your vacations: cultural activities, radical activities, nature activities... whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island!
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.
INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in. If the reservation is made less than 14 days before check-in, the cancellation is free up to 48 hours after the reservation, up to a maximum of 5 days before check-in.
After that, guests may cancel up to 5 days prior to check-in and receive a refund of the price per night and the cleaning fee, but not of the service fee.

The balcony was nice as well.
The little square was a bit loud due to homeless people on the street and in front of our building but they were really nice and we felt safe.

Materassi un poco scomodi, manca l'aria condizionata penso che in estate serva essendo all'ultimo piano, mancava una scopa. Per le pulizie e cambio biancheria bisogna chiedere.

Parking was provided in an underground car park, which was really handy.
Comfortable bed, hot shower and TV with lots of channels.
Our only complaint was that the fridge needed a bit of a clean out, but otherwise cleanliness was okay.
Would definitely recommend!

Es ist ziemlich staubig auf dem Boden und unter dem Bett. Es wäre gut, wenn man einen Staubsauger/Wischer zur Verfügung hätte.
Es gab kleine Ameisen, die süße Sachen auf dem Esstisch mochten.
Bei längerem Aufenthalt wären Mülltüten zu wünschen.

Mir hat eine Beschreibung des Parkplatzes in der Tiefgarage gefehlt. Ich wusste zunächst nicht, dass es einen Parkplatz gibt und die Mitarbeiterin hat mich nicht darauf hingewiesen als ich nach einer günstigen Parkmöglichkeit gefragt habe. Das kommunizierte WLAN Passwort war falsch und hat uns zusammen mit der fehlenden Parkplatzbeschreibung zu einer etwas unentspannten Ankunft geführt.

Loved Madeira, particularly the old town.
No air conditioning, which made the room very hot at all times.
Homeless people sleeping on the doorstep every night, with evidence of drug taking. I would not recommend this property for elderly or single female guests.
We messaged the management company to see if we could be moved, but received no response, so after 7 days we moved to another property at our expense.

Of course the host is not responsible for the city’s social situation, but it is not nice that you need to wake up and step over people to be able to get into the building when you get home in the evenings.
