Duplex apartment, rustic style, located on the 1st floor of a building situated in a quiet area. On the entrance floor you will find a large living room with cable TV and a dining area available. The balcony on this floor has a dining table and a view of the gardens and the tennis court. There is also a guest WC on this floor. On the upper floor, you will find a bathroom equipped with bathtub, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with a single sofa bed and a balcony with two sun loungers available.
Maximum capacity for 5 people.
No elevator.
WiFi available in all areas.
Free parking outside the building.

This property is located in Água de Pena, in the municipality of Machico, just a few minutes from the airport. Near this property you will find some points of interest such as: restaurants with typical Madeiran gastronomy, a supermarket, the Sports Park of Água de Pena and the Madeira Indoor Kart track. You can find these and other local services or interests just a few minutes away from this property.
If you choose to go to the Funchal, take the opportunity to explore the city and look for more information about all kinds of activities you can do during your vacation: cultural activities, radical activities, activities connected to nature... whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island!

The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.

You have access to all areas of the property.

We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Machico. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Det er virkelig ærgerligt at denne bolig bliver beskrevet som 'nogens hjem', når det er helt tydeligt at det kun er til udlejning. Jeg vil gerne klage over at Airbnb har opslag om denne lejlighed fordi den ligger så tæt på Madeiras lufthavn og hvor landingsbanen er lige ud for lejligheden. I opslaget ser man fotos af to dejlige altaner, men det er helt umuligt at bruge altanerne fordi du aldrig ved hvornår et fly letter eller lander - det larmer uacceptabelt meget og ødelægger helt feriestemningen. Det ødelægger også den ellers fine lejlighed i 2 etager selvom du er indendøre og har lukket vinduer og døre - flystøjen trænger igennem og får indimellem interiøret til at vibrere, - også om natten. Det går jo ikke med mindre du har et høre handicap. Det er virkelig for dårligt.

The apartment is great for four people and it has everything you need for a temporary stay. We were able to cook breakfast in the morning and make coffee. We were always able to find parking on the street. Even though it is close to the airport, we were able to sleep, because there were no planes at night.
The only downside was the fact that we had a bit of a hard time finding the place, because google maps was showing something different and it was taking us somewhere else. Maybe a pin on the map would make it easier, because we had to search for it for some time.

Excellent and very large accommodation with all amenities near the airport and in any other place this would be a huge disadvantage, but certainly not in Madeira because watching the planes land and take off was a separate entertainment. We had everything we needed, the owner told us everything we needed and more.

Appartamento stupendo, molto curato attrezzato e dotato di tutti i comfort!! La vicinanza all'aeroporto ci faceva molto comodo , giustamente si sentiva il rumore degli aerei in movimento ma si sapeva e non ci ha dato fastidio!
Particolarmente apprezzata la presenza della cassetta di primo soccorso ben attrezzata (non scontata come presenza). Abbiamo trovato in dotazione anche caffè in polvere da utilizzare con la macchinetta professionale..da italiani possiamo dire che il caffè era ottimo!! Grazie di tutto! Se torneremo in questa splendida isola vi ricontatteremo sicuramente.

It is equiped with washing mashine and hanger to dry clothese, juice maker and hand blender to make the best out of local fruits you can buy in shop or market.
Local shop is just 5min walk apart, and has everything you might need for daily food supply.
It was a bit amusing, that even local drivers are not familiar with the street, where appartment is located, and yes - check in is a bit of challange

The flat is really amazing - nicely decorated and spacious. If you have a car, the location is perfect. There is a market next to the flat and a nice bar, too. Or you can go to the other part of Machico (10 min by car) where you will find other markets, frutaria, port and a sand beach. There was NO problem with finding a parking spot, it’s just next to the flat and the tenis cort.
The only thing we didn’t like were many cockroaches 🪳 that came to the kitchen in the evening. You will find it in the plates, cutlery that you just washed :( One night we were already asleep upstairs and we heard a sound like someone was breaking in or something broke. We woke up, come downstairs and after some time of looking found some wall parts in the kitchen and huge cockroaches conquering the space. It was hard to get rid of them. I told the owner, he apologized, but then didn’t do anything about it.
The only thing we didn’t like were many cockroaches 🪳 that came to the kitchen in the evening. Fraco apartamento as condições deixaram muito a desejar
-o mau cheiro existente a entrada da casa e nós wcs
- check in apenas Apartir das 16h nunca visto nada assim
- Depois de entrar e quando pensava descansar e tomar um duche a torneira da banheira desencaixa 3 horas à espera da equipa técnica
- Uma boa tv mas nem comando tinha
-A mesa de jantar está tao torta que nem um copo de água aguenta
- A porta para a máquina de lavar roupa não tem puxador por dentro se a porta fecha com a corrente de ar ficas preso no wc junto a máquina.
- segundo dia ao usar placa de fogão e forno desliga a luz rebenta a caixa de fusíveis mais 3 horas à espera da Edp( Segundo a vidinha do lado e pela quantidade de velas existente este problema acontece frequentemente)
Resumindo com este tipo de AL só conseguem dar um má imagem muito má do turismo na madeira.
A única coisa positiva foi a simpatia e o excelente trabalho da equipa que me deu apoio técnico principalmente da menina que não sei o nome e peço desculpa no dia que fiquei sem luz não me abandonou enquanto não estava o problema resolvido.

Die Lage ist toll, es sich auch ausreichend Parkplätze hinter dem Haus. Man findet etwas schwer hin, aber das kann auch an der schlechten Sicht, der Uhrzeit und den Straßenverhältnissen liegen, die einen etwas überfordern können. Die Ausstattung ist großartig, es war einen tolle Waschmaschine mit Kurzprogrammen vorhanden und auch ausreichend Waschmittel und ein großer Wäscheständer. Die Siebträgermaschine wurde zwas nicht benutzt, wird aber trotzdem lobend erwähnt. Im Kühlschrank ist richtig viel Platz und auch der Herd funktioniert super.
Ich habe alle Infos vorab bekommen, inklusive genauer Adresse auf Maps, was super funktioniert hat. Was dann schwierig war, war die tatsächliche Ankunft: den Schlüssel haben wir aus den Tresor bekommen, aber dann konnten wir nicht aufsperren - ich habe versucht die angegebene Telefonnummer zu erreichen, doch der Anruf wurde nach ein paar mal Läuten abgelehnt. Es hat mehrere weitere Minuten gedauert, bis wir herausgefunden haben, dass der Schlüssel einen Teleskopmechanismus hat - man ihn also ausfahren muss. Diese Art Schlüssel hatte noch keine von uns davor gesehen - ein kurzer Hinweis dazu hätte schon ausgereicht um die kurze abendliche Panik um 23:00 Uhr Ortszeit vermeiden zu können.
In der Unterkunft waren auch Pfannen vorhanden, da war aber die Beschichtung hier sehr zerkratzt.

We had a great time! The kitchen was well equipped and the whole apartment felt cozy. The terace was nice. We could hear the planes but it was not very disturbing, especially when the windows and doors were closed. A big supermarket is a 5 min walk and there is plenty of parking space. We would come here again. :)

The stay was excellent. Everything we need was in the apartament, the Apartament was clean. The only thing that you can do is repair some of the furniture. Best stay in Madera in my opinion

Man muss den Fluglärm mögen. Ich persönlich fand es mega, da ich an den Flugzeugen arbeite. Daher stört mich der Lärm überhaupt nicht. Einen schönen Anblick hat man ebenfalls. Es war alles sehr sauber. Großer Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine. Alles vorhanden.

Bardzo ładne miejsce, dwie sypialnie, wygoda.
Blisko lotniska i super marketu.
Doskonale wyposażone mieszkanie.
Głośno - z tarasu widać startujące i ładujące samoloty, dlatego jeśli nie lubisz hałasu to nie jest miejsce dla Ciebie.
Podczas pobytu coś nas ciągle gryzło, sprawdzałyśmy łóżka i raczej nie były to pluskwy, ale zdecydowanie coś było nie tak.

Po pierwsze apartament w zasadzie sąsiaduje z pasem startowym co niestety powodowało od wczesnych godzin porannych ( ok 5-6 rano) do późnych nocnych olbrzymi hałas. Po drugie adres nie istnieje w mapach w sieci więc jak tylko przylecieliśmy i wzięliśmy taxi do apartamentu niestety kierowca miał olbrzymie problemy z trafieniem do celu. Ta sama sytuacja powtórzyła się jeszcze dwukrotnie z kierowcami Bolt. Kolejna rzecz to jakość wyposażenia - po przylocie okazało się że nie mamy światła z głównej łazience ( przepalona żarówka) , jeden ze stolików w sypialni przy próbie przesunięcia go, się po prostu rozpadł ( bardzo stary, uszkodzony mebel) , klamka od środka dolnej toalety jest zepsuta i nie można zamykać drzwi. Wszystkie te rzeczy zostały od razu zgłoszone obsłudze. Dostałam informację, że przekażą sprawę ekipie od utrzymania ale niestety podczas całego tygodnia nikt się nie zgłosił. Poza tym krany w łazience i kuchni były luźne a duży stół w salonie bardzo chybotliwy.
