AREA
The building has a common entrance to all the properties and is located in Rua da Carreira, one of the main arteries of Funchal. From this property you will be able to know and visit on foot the main points of interest of the capital of Madeira Island. It is close to restaurants, shopping centres, bars, museums, the Cathedral of Funchal, Funchal Municipal Garden, Marina of Funchal and Municipal Theatre.
In the city centre there is plenty of information about all kinds of activities you can do during your holidays: cultural activities, radical activities, nature related activities... whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island!
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.
If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.
INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Très bien situé
Appartement confortable et bien équipé dans un beau bâtiment historique superbement rénové.
Salle d'eau agréable.
La surface disponible et la hauteur sous plafond.
J'aurais pu noter cet appartement par un 10/10, mais suite à ma demande non résolue pour une cafetière inopérante durant la semaine, ainsi que la serrure electronique trop lente à la fermeture, je baisse la note à 8.
Attendre 30sec à chaque sortie pour vérifier que l'appartement est correctement fermé à cause de la serrure electronique...
Pas de possibilité d'étendre une petite lessive (présence d'une machine lavante-sechante dans l'appartement pour une grosse lessive).
Quelques dysfonctionnements de gestion, par exemple, cafetière électrique inopérante durant tout notre séjour d'une semaine bien qu'une personne devait passer (?), autre erreur, message non sollicité mais reçu comme quoi nos draps seraient changés en cours de semaine, alors que personne n'est venu (ce n'était d'ailleurs pas une de nos attentes ...)
Ustensiles de cuisine et vaisselle en bon état excepté la grande poêle qui aurait besoin d'être changée...
Attente de la disponibilité de l'appartement à notre arrivée vers 18h30 car ménage en cours alors qu'un check-in est annoncé possible dès16h00, et par contre quand je demande en fin de séjour pour laisser nos valises jusqu'à 14h, on me fait comprendre que le check-out est bien 12H ...

It's sad to say that but I cannot recommend this host. Unfortunately, we left behind a significant amount of money in the apartment, which was our mistake, but sh*t happens. Although someone was theoretically sent to check the room, the staff claims that they did not find the money, which location we described in detail during phone conversation being at the airport.
Honesty is key in this business and given that various situations can arise, it is obvious that you just cannot expect help and honesty from this facility. For this reason, I cannot recommend this apartment in good conscience, although we were very satisfied until the incident.

Tout était parfait. Le seul détail qu’il manquait c’était le numéro de l’appartement. C’est inscrit 4 pianos et il y a eu plusieurs personnes qui ont essayé leur code à mon appartement #4. Il faudrait également mentionné aux touristes un autre stationnement plus facile à gérer. J’ai trouvé un stationnement à 4.5 euros par jour. Alors que je ne comprenais pas trop le principe du parcomètre. J’ai du payer 39 euros pour un ticket de stationnement. Pour l’appartement tout est parfait. Propre, grande clarté, bien situé et beaucoup de commodités. Je me suis sentie comme une Princesse. Décore

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet hébergement. Appartement très moderne et fonctionnel (machine à laver sécheuse dans le logement). L'emplacement est idéal (proche musée CR7, marché Lavadores, téléphérique, quelques mètre pour accéder à la zone portuaires et des resto au rez-de-chaussée de chaussée) et nous n'avons pas été incommode pas le bruit de la rue.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schick eingerichtet und sehr zentral gelegen. Mann kann die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Funchal bequem zu Fuß erreichen.
Auch die Ausstattung der der Wohnung ist super, wir hätten uns lediglich Geschirrtücher und vil ein zweites Handtuch gewünscht. Wir sind aber auch so sehr gut zurecht gekommen.
Wir würden hier wieder schlafen.

L’emplacement central, la modernité et la diversité des équipements répondant à tous nos besoins (dont la trousse des 1er soins), l’esthétique et la grandeur du studio, le fait que l’on soit prévenu quand les employés viennent faire le ménage, le service de transfert à l’aéroport.
Nous n’avons pas de critiques majeure à formuler, même si nous avons parfois été un peu dérangées par le bruit de la rue et « énervées » par l’abattant des toilettes qui se refermait sur nous quand nous étions assises sur les toilettes. Mais la qualité des prestations est amplement supérieure à ces gènes minimes et relativisées.

Прекрасная квартира в центре Фуншала. Электронные замки для общей двери и двери в квартиру.
Большая ванная: огромный душ, есть биде, полотенца, жидкое мыло, фен.
Кухня прекрасная со всей необходимой посудой, были даже кофе, чай, сахар, масло…
Очень удобная кровать. Много источников света. Кондиционер. Маленький балкончик.
Мы были 8 дней. На четвертый день даже пришли убирать, хотя для квартир это нечасто бывает.
Мусор сортируется. Есть лифт. Пару минут пешком супермаркет. Совет: там можно поесть в виде шведского стола, открыто до позднего вечера , вкусно и дешево.
Цена квартиры нормальная. С удовольствием бы остановились снова здесь. Obrigada !!!
Улица довольно шумная, хоть и маленькая. Но для этого есть двойные двери на балкон, если их закрыть, то ничего не слышно.
Нет утюга и пылесоса. Но думаю, кому надо, можно написать хозяевам и принесут.

The location is great. The towels and bedding were not very clean. There is some fixing to do in the bathroom. This accomodation is convenient and affordable. The issues we noticed did not have a serious impact on our stay.

The property is very modern, nicely equipped, super clean and safe (thanks to the electric locks you dont need to carry a key with you.
Our room window was facing a street which could be quite noisy due to the cars and motorcycles passing by. So earplugs were very handy. When it comes to the equipment, of the kitchen, it would be very nice to have basic ingredients as sal, sugar and oil. Otherwise its very nice stay.

Bad smell from the bathroom. Since they had decided to have a wooden floor in the bathroom it was already damaged from water, gave a bad smell. Need to be fixed.

First time in Funchal. Absolutely wonderful location and accommodations. Stayed 5 nights. Everything brand new and beautifully renovated. A bit noice from the street in the night. But that is expected in a city this size.

Central location and contemporary design. Good communication with the host. However, incredibly frustrating system for entry into the main building and the apartment itself. This relied on the code and door handle working in tandem, which it often did not.
After a sleepless night due to noise, I was offered another, quieter room at the back of the building. If you need a restful stay, ensure you ask for a room that does not overlook the main road, and ask about the key entry system (as opposed to just relying on a code), ahead of time.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mitten in Funchal. Man kann wirklich alles super schnell von da aus erreichen. Sehr modern und sehr saubere Wohnung. Man hat dort alles was man für einen Besuch in der Stadt Funchal braucht.
