Situated in one of the new neighborhood of Funchal, this apartment is close to the beach, promenades and touristic area.
The excellent location distinguishes this fantastic and beautiful apartment. About seven minutes drive from the center of Funchal, this property is situated in a quiet and sunny area of the city.
Surrounded by beautiful buildings and with sea view, this accommodation is ready to welcome you on your next vacation. From here you can visit the famous promenade located in the coastal area of the city, immerse yourself in the bathing complexes of Lido and Ponta Gorda or sunbath in Praia Formosa, where black sand and pebble beach delight adults and children.
The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds; two bathrooms; a fully equipped kitchen and a living room where you can rest and socialize. Outside you have a balcony where you can see the sea and enjoy your meals. The house has the capacity to accommodate a maximum of four people.
The apartment is fully equipped with all facilities and has a free parking place.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Situated in one of the most prestigious tourist areas of Funchal, this apartment is close to a pleasant seafront promenade, beaches, supermarkets, pharmacies, shops and the Forum Madeira shopping center, which has several international renowned venues and movie theaters.
Nearby there are several bars and restaurants where you can delight in our gastronomy or international cuisine. In addition to the nearby options, you can go to the city center (seven minutes by car) where you will find a wider variety of restaurants.
About a kilometer from the apartment is the Formosa Beach, suggestive for diving and sunbathing on the pebble and black sand.
GETTING AROUND
For departures and arrivals from the airport, there is an aerobus stop about 5 minutes from the house, although the best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It's cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport!
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to all areas of the flat.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Koupelny by měly být měly být rekonstruovány. Místo vany sprchový kout, vyměnit nábytek, přidat poličku pod zrcadlo. Ale pro pobyt byly koupelny dostačující a čisté.

Macchie sugli asciugamani forniti e macchie di ferro da stiro sulle lenzuola (con la forma del ferro da stiro).

The apartment is wide and spacious. The rooms are not small and are comfortable for entertaining (like the bedrooms, the bathrooms, the living room and the kitchen).
It had all the necessary tools that you may need starting from kitchen utensils, washing machine, iron, ironing board, television in the living room, hair dryer, fans and so on.
The apartment was clean. It had a nice ambience to live in.
Two couples or a company of 4 people can be acommodated good. For more than 4, someone would need to sleep in the living room and the comfort offered by the apartment would be destroyed.
The apartment had amenities and two large balconies. The balcony in the living room overlooks the ocean and is a comfortable place to sit.
My only gripe during my stay was that there was no air conditioning in any of the rooms. It may not be necessary to have air conditioning in all rooms, but at least in the living room it is necessary to achieve some balance in the whole apartment when the weather is very hot.

The apartment was quite big with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and a chicken. I would say it is a suitable place for 2 couples or a family with kids, The location was nice, close to the sea, you could see the sun rising from the balcony. Near by there was a bar, a restaurant and some small shops. On the walking distance there were restaurant and and the beach.

Came with most kitchen essentials (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar, coffee etc.).
Came with other great essentials (towels, laundry facilities and washing powder, first aid box)
Not enough power for electricity (couldn’t have two hobs and oven working together without it tripping).
Many kitchen utensils etc but no oven mitts or pealer (minor gripe).
A regularly noisy from neighbours upstairs in the night.

Internet was slow and was cutting, if you need the internet for work, be careful. Would have been nice to have a dishwasher for the price. Shower water temperature goes from cold to hot constantly.
