Enjoy the best of the city in this beautiful, recently refurbished, located in the Funchal city centre.
This apartment is in the center of Funchal, 10-15 minutes walk from the traditional market and the marina. It has 2 spacious bedrooms with queensize bed. It has two bathrooms and a fantastic and ample outdoor space where you can enjoy the good weather and sunbathing or a meal with friends and family!
If you want to rent a car, the building has a garage where you can park.
The apartment is large and fully equipped with all amenities.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
We are right in the center of the city, which is the same as saying that there are points of interest everywhere. Funchal Cathedral is 10 minutes away and the Old Town area as well. Nearby you can find supermarkets, shops and bakeries.
In the center of Funchal there are restaurants for all tastes, terraces, museums, gardens and of course the city bay and promenade, ideal to end the day!
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It’s cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport!
If you care about the environment and prefer to move with all comfort and style, you can book a transfer in a beautiful and innovative TESLA MODEL S “Full Electric”.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguisher and blanket on all properties.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.

Bardzo miło spędziliśmy czas. Apartament jest świetnym miejscem na bazę wypadową do zwiedzania Funchal jak i całej wyspy. Podziemny parking jest dużym atutem. Zameldowanie i wymeldowanie przebiegło bez żadnych problemów.

Great place to stay, short walk to the center of town. Clean and comfortable apartment. Parking was very useful also as the streets around the area are characteristically narrow and winding.

Tudo espetacular, adorei ficar neste espaço! A casa é super espaçosa, os dois quartos são perfeitos e as camas são boas, o terraço é espetacular para uns jantares e pequenos almoços perfeitos, as casas de banho bastante limpas e a cozinha tem todas as comodidades necessárias, até um brinde de boas vindas! O apartamento fica a 15 minutos do centro o que facilita a ida a pé, a subida de volta é grande, porém quem vem à madeira já tem de estar preparado e por tem uma garagem onde é bastante fácil é prático estacionar. O que pedir mais? É perfeito e a próxima vez que voltar à madeira irei de certeza lá ficar.

Really good place to stay for holidays, very comfortable for 5 people. Useful if renting a car as there is a carpark underneath the building with an automatic door. There is also a bus stop nearby if using public transport. It is located about 3 minutes to the town centre by car, you could also walk to the centre but, it is very downhill. I will try to book with them for the next time.

Apartamento espaçoso, com muita luz e um espaço exterior agradável. Bem limpo e cozinha bem equipada.
A localização é um pouco problemática pois embora os supermercados, padarias, etc sejam relativamente perto ( 15 minutos a pé) o regresso é sempre a subir e com subidas íngremes pelo que não dá para vir a pé com compras. No apartamento não existiam nem toalhas de mesa nem individuais e também não tinha panos da loiça. Também não tinha o guarda sol do jardim. Contactei com eles mas não resolveram a situação pelo que tive de comprar uma toalha. Por outro lado embora no site diga que tem maquina da loiça, de facto não tem.

Świetna lokalizacja. Duży, przestronny apartament. Mega plus za dwie łazienki i pralka. Parking na miejscu zamykany. Wszystko co potrzebne jest na miejscu. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni. Bardzo polecamy to miejsce! Po komentarzach niektórych osób trochę się stresowałam. Ale nic co było napisane się nie potwierdziło z negatywów. Mam nadzieję, że wrócimy dokładnie w to samo miejsce.

If you are up to a 15 minutes walk uphill to this property from the town centre then I can recommend this property. We would certainly use it again.
The beds were very comfortable (although the pillows were a bit lumpy). The bathrooms were spotlessly clean and there was a good supply of hot water in the mornings for two of us to shower. The TV proved a challenge to work but we finally worked out that it had Prime TV and Youtube. A brief explanation of the handsets would have been nice.
The property had everything you could need on holiday - washing machine, extra utility sink for washing off boots, drying rail, microwave, etc. It also had fans and heaters in the cupboards, which we didn't need. It was set away from the noise of the city and the traffic and we were almost unaware of other residents in the block, as they were so quiet. The barking dogs (which can, unfortunately, be found wherever you stay in Madeira, even near the best hotels) were just far enough away and did stop towards midnight.
The information from the owners both before and during the stay was excellent.
The only criticisms we had were the kitchen unit doors, which were well past their best, and the difficult key/lock on the front gate, but this did not affect our enjoyment of the property.

A very comfortable apartment 15 minutes away by walking from a busy and bustling street, 20 from Santa Maria Street in Funchal. 10 min walk from a major grocery store (Continente). The rooms are spacious and the neighborhood is calm aside from a few dogs barking now and then. We loved staying there would stay there again if we returned to Funchal.

Olá Rute, obrigado pelo seu comentário positivo, infelizmente relativamente aos mosquitos o clima tropical da Madeira é o clima perfeito para os mesmos, sendo difícil o seu controlo bastando abrir uma janela durante o dia ou a noite. Em relação à quantidade de Loiça providenciada no apartamento iremos fazer um levantamento da mesma e agir em conformidade.

Our stay was ideal for what we needed as we were in the town most of our stay. Not a long walk from the centre but quite an uphill climb to get back. Lots of mosquitos so we could have done with some type of netting at doors because it was so hot at night, but fans were good addition due to no AC.

Appartamento ampio e confortevole, perfetto per 6 persone. Cucina funzionale e rifornita e carino anche lo spazio esterno. SI trova in un quartiere residenziale pulito e tranquillo, è però necessario scendere e salire per andare e tornare dal centro.

Lage zum Zentrum, auch wenn der Rückweg sehr beschwerlich sein kann. Manchmal haben wir daher den Bus benutzt, der direkt vor dem Appartement hält.
Hinweis, dass man das Wasser als Trinkwasser benutzen kann.
Alles etwas verwohnt (Schlafsofa roch etwas "benutzt"), es gab im Garten nur Kunstrasen mit Hinterlassenschaften von Katzen. Vielleicht ist das auch der Grund für die vielen Mücken. Draussen Sitzen war ohne Autan nicht sinnvoll.
Wohnung im Erdgeschoss, aber bodentiefe Fenster konnte man nicht klappen. Also offen für alle oder Fenster zu. Leider auch keine Insektengitter. Nur portable Klimaanlagen.
Schlüssel für Gartentor funktionierte manchmal nicht. War nicht schlimm, da Tiefgarage immer offen war und so jeder in das Treppenhaus konnte!!!
Fürchterlich das dauernde Hundegekläffe, das immerhin gegen Mitternacht verstummte. Okay, kann der Vermieter nichts für, stört trotzdem.
Zwei große und zwei kleine Handtücher für fünf Übernachtungen, nicht gerade üppig. Im zweiten Badezimmer kein Shampoo vorhanden.
Keine Infomappe über Funchal vorhanden.
Keine Restaurants und Supermärkte in der Nähe vorhanden.
Leider keinen der Verantwortlichen einmal persönlich gesehen. Alles per Mail und mit Schlüsselbox. Eigentlich kein Problem, wenn alles in Ordnung ist.
Gerade im Vergleich mit dem Appartement in der Vorwoche auf den Azoren, meine Wertung:
DAS KANN MAN BESSER MACHEN

As you can understand, we live in a semi-tropical island, which insects are part of it. Our properties are desinfected regurlaly but, if the windows and doors are open, this stays without any effect.
We offer self catering properties, this means our properties are equipped with all necessary to stay in. AC isn't advertised on the property mentioned but it has portable ones to make our guests confortable. It's given one set of towels for each guest and afterwards, you can wash and dry them in house. (We do have a extra service to have more towels with an extra fee).
You will always be welcome at our properties :)

O apartamento não estava nas condições esperada, não tem ar acondicionado, a máquina de lavar roupa não funcionava desde o primeiro dia, frigorífico não esfriava, entramos em contacto com os responsáveis mas a demora para resolver os problemas ultrapasso mais de 4 dias após a chegada, conclusão o apartamento precisa de uma remodelação, localização era única coisa boa nesta estadia.

Die Unterkunft war super! Sehr sauber, geräumig, in ruhiger Lage und sah exakt wie auf den Bildern aus. Sogar ein Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage war mit dabei. Wenn Fragen waren, wurden diese direkt beantwortet und geholfen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden :)

AnIsland is a great host, excellent communication and always willing to help - much appreciated. Apartment is rather basic yet very clean and extremely well located. It’s literally 10 mins walk to the centre. Going back might take longer as it’s up the hill. Terrace is a great addition as it’s always sunny so we really enjoyed our breakfasts there! We had a pleasant three week stay although would be great if internet connection was more stable and faster as it was a bit challenging to host video calls on two devices simultaneously. Kitchenware was quite bare but enough for easy meals. Overall a good stay, recommended. Obrigado!

The garden was very nice, as we were travelling with our 2 years old daughter. I also loved how spacious the whole apartment was. For me the location was also fine - 15 minutes walk to the center.
Someone might find the way from the center difficult, as it is (like everything on Madeira) uphills.

Localização boa, bem perto do centro, garagem no prédio, instalações muito boas, muitos utensílios na cozinha, bastante espaço, exatamente como nas fotos. Não existe contacto algum com os proprietários, apenas enviam a informação de como apanhar as chaves e deixar no fim. Assim evitam-se os contactos nesta altura difícil.
Ficamos satisfeitos para a escolha que fizemos para a nossa primeira vez no Funchal.
Único ponto que eu poderia sugerir uma pequena melhora é relativamente à limpeza. Existia muito pó no chão e principalmente nos tapetes. O sofá também já necessita de uma limpeza. E poderiam deixar produtos de limpeza para a cozinha e chão, visto que cozinhamos no apartamento e no fim é necessário limpar. E talvez mais panos e papel higiénico que não foi suficiente para o número de pessoas.
Ficamos satisfeitos para a escolha que fizemos para a nossa primeira vez no Funchal.

Located approx 10min walk from Central Funchal. Clean spacious apartment with nice little garden area. Good check in experience and information on the local area if wanted. Car park space was useful and secure for only apartment block residents. Would return and recommend this accommodation.

- Falta de troca da roupa de cama/toalhas durante 7 dias;
- O sofa estava a roçar o mau estado;
- A mesma simpatia com o check-in, ainda que com algum atraso, poderiam ter tido no check out.

Os serviços de limpeza intermédia só se efectuam após 8 noites de estadia. No entanto, se pedido, por um valor extra, fazemos quando nos pede o cliente. Não efectuamos check-out nas nossas propriedades para facilitar a saída do cliente. :)

Lækker lejlighed, med dejlig have. Alt i orden mht faciliteter, rengøring osv. Det eneste man skal være opmærkom på er at der ikke er indkøbsmuligheder lige i nærheden ( vi fandt dem ihvertfald ikke ). Vi gik ca 1 km for at finde et supermarked og da hjemturen går stejlt op ad bakke var det en noget besværlig tur....

The apartment is very nice, and it is great with the small garden. Everything worked well also with the host, including communication and everything. We arrived earlier and were allowed to check-in right away, which we really appreciated. Only thing to mention is that there are no shops nearby (at least we did not find them). The nearest shop we found was app 1 km away and we had to walk a very steep road on the way back from shopping, which was quite exhausting.

Had a very nice stay at this accommodation. Comfortably appointed and having 2 bathrooms a big plus. In a quiet residential area, apart from the occasional enthusiastic barking of local dogs. About 15 minute walk into centre, a bit tiring walking back up to apartment as it is uphill. Then we discovered number 26 bus stops right by front door, with 2 other buses stopping close by. Made life a lot easier. Would wholeheartedly recommend this apartment.

Appartement très propre bien situé si vous restez plusieurs semaines les femmes de ménage passe une fois par semaine pour vous changer les draps les serviettes et faire le ménage à 600 m du centre-ville par contre il faut des bonnes chaussures de marche car ça grimpe énormément pour les moins courageux il y a le bus juste en face le numéro 26

This is a lovely, modern ground floor apartment in a quiet residential area of Funchal. The apartment is very clean, bedrooms are spacious. There is plenty outdoor space. It is a short 10 minute walk from the town centre. There is a bus stop directly opposite the apartment for those not wanting to walk up the hill.

Ficamos, 2 casais, 7 dias no apartamento. Gostamos bastante e recomendamos face as comodidades encontradas. Filipa nos atendeu prontamente tanto no checkin como no checkout e André nos dias que antecederam. Pode-se chegar ao centro onde se encontra a região dos restaurantes e supermercados em 15 minutos a pé facilitado pela descida. Fiquei na suíte e o casal amigo no quarto, ambos com conforto.

Buenos días, la estancia está genial, el apartamento está impecable y la situación muy buena a 5 minutos andando del centro, es silencioso con lo cual es perfecto para descansar y además tiene plaza de parking lo cual es un punto más a su favor. Fab apartment with all basic needs and in a great location to explore Funchal. Particularly good kitchen facilities, I was able to cook like I was at home. There is also a small play area within the apartment building complex that was great for our 2.5yr old. If you stay during cold weather you may want to ask for an extra heater as there was only 1 small plug in radiator. Probably unnecessary for most of the year though!

Really spacious and comfortable accommodation in a quiet part of Funchal. André also provided us with a baby crib for our little son. We all enjoyed the garden with a pleasant sitting, which can be accessed from all rooms.

Mieszkanie w cichej okolicy, przestronne, nowoczesne, dobrze wyposażone (nawet w przyprawy, naczynia, garnki czy płyn do prania). Posiada parking podziemny, co jest niewątpliwym plusem. 15- 20 minut spacerem od centrum (stromą drogą, ale tam to standard). Świetny gospodarz!!! Gorąco polecamy!!!

Very nice location just a short walk up the hill from the old town (approx. 10-15 minutes) in a pure residental area. Perfect for 4 persons. Well equiped kitchen and a terrace for a relaxed time. Underground parking for the car.

Found the service friendly and very welcoming - property very clean and well maintained and great location. Lovely garden to relax in during the evenings, the kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary items with a benefit of a washing machine - two bathrooms and very spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds - it was a great stay and would recommend and will most definitely return

I cannot recommend this place highly enough, wonderful.
The pictures do it justice, it is decorated nicely and to a very high standard throughout, and was immaculately clean.
Three of us stayed, but 5 or 6 would have been comfortable. Beds are large and comfortable, bath has jacuzzi jets(!), garden is a sun trap, kitchen has everything you would need, and there are plenty of communal areas to sit, chat, or play.
Car parking is tight, but convenient (would recommend hiring a car to see the island - we used WeRent)
The location is great - in a quiet residential area, a 15 minutes walk from the front (down a pretty steep hill, but then Funchal and madeira are made of hills), and 10 to supermarkets, shops, and cafes. Very close to the old town, cable cars, restaurants, etc. A great base.
