An apartment in Garajau, fully renovated, on the top floor with a balcony and a full sea view, equipped with all amenities. Located in a quiet area, close to bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, a few minutes away from the Cable Car and the Garajau's beach.
This is a renovated apartment with simple and modern decoration, situated on the top 5th floor of a building with a lift in Garajau, located on a hill that enhances a magnificent sea view. This T2 property has two bathrooms with showers and two bedrooms: one master bedroom with a double bed and another with an ensuite bathroom and a single bed convertible into a large double bed. The living room features a cable smart TV, a comfortable sofa bed (suitable for 2 children or one adult), a dining table, and a balcony with an unrestricted sea view. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, and washing machine. Maximum capacity: 5 people. WI-FI is available in all rooms. The internet is suitable for online work, with a fibreoptic cable and ethernet connectivity in the living room and smaller bedroom (which may be used as an office). Internet speed: 300Mbps, stable connection. There is a reserved car parking space in the garage in the basement. A playground is available in the building’s common area. AREA Garajau is known for its peacefulness and proximity to the sea. Situated between Funchal and the airport, it offers various services and restaurants nearby. There is a beach and a short trail next to the Cristo-Rei monument, as well as a cable car with direct access to Garajau Partial Nature Reserve, ideal for diving and snorkelling. Renting a car at the airport is a good option to explore the island, and there is a car rental office 8 minutes’ walk away. Funchal city centre is a 10-minute drive from the property. GETTING AROUND The best option to reach the apartment is by transfer—ask us to book one with our local partners (cheaper than airport taxis). If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. There is a bus stop 7 minutes’ walk from the apartment. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply to all requests. We also have an app for guests with all important information about the property and your stay. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - A Municipal Tourist Ecotax will be charged for each person staying overnight in the municipality of Santa Cruz: €2.00 per person/night (aged 13+), up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14 per person). Before arrival, you will receive a link to pay this fee. - According to Portuguese law, all guests must present valid ID (passport or identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 48 hours before arrival, guests will be subject to our team’s availability. - All bed linen and towels are provided. Baby cot, high chair, and baby bath available on request. First aid kit, extinguishers, and fire blanket are provided. ATTENTION The property is in a quiet residential area. However, occasional noise from dogs in the surrounding area may be heard. While this is beyond our control, we share this for transparency and your comfort. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee. Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee. By making a booking, the guest accepts the house rules and terms of stay.

Good located between airport and Funchal, calm residential area and close to restaurants, supermarkets (we found Continente a bit better than Pingo Doce), easy communication.
