The spacious first floor includes a comfortable living room with two sofas (one a large sofa-bed) and a dining area. The modern kitchen offers two spaces for quick meals and a laundry area with access to the outdoor dining area. Adjacent is a TV room with a 65” TV, sofa bed, garden access, and a bathroom with shower. On the second floor, the master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, private bathroom with bathtub, and a balcony with harbour views. The second bedroom features 2 single beds, a sofa bed, balcony, and a private bathroom with shower and WC across the corridor. The third bedroom has a double bed, private WC with shower, and a garden view. The loft open-space is a large, flexible area with 2 sofa beds, leisure and work zones, its own WC, and access to a rooftop balcony with a relaxation area and superb city views—perfect for watching New Year fireworks. The garden surrounds the house, offering an elevated area with aromatic herbs and tropical fruit trees. Relax in the hammock between the fig and mango trees. Located in the charming Santa Maria Maior district, the property is ideal for large families or groups of friends. High-speed fibre Wi-Fi is available throughout. AREA Situated on historic Rua Conde Carvalhal, near Miradouro da Vila Guida, the property is a 5-minute walk from Funchal’s old town and Barreirinha area, and 12 minutes from the city centre. GETTING AROUND Transfers can be arranged with local partners (cheaper than airport taxis). If renting a car, navigation apps easily find the address. ACCESS TO PROPERTY Guests have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions and provide an app with important property and local information. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - All guests must present valid ID (passport or identity card) as per Portuguese law. - Check-in must be scheduled in advance (at least 48 hours before arrival). - Bed linen and towels are provided. Baby cot, high chair, and baby bath available on request. - First aid kit, extinguishers, and fire blanket are on the property. ATTENTION A Tourist Fee of €2.00 per person/night (aged 13+), up to 7 nights (€14 max per person/stay), is charged in Funchal. You will receive a link to pay this municipal tax upon arrival. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights).
