Intelsol Calheta Apartment I is a completely refurbished 2-bedroom property, modern, simple, and practical for a holiday with family or friends. Access is by stairs, as the flat is on the second floor of a building in the Loreto centre, Calheta. The property features two bedrooms with double beds, one with a private bathroom. The living room is harmoniously divided into a dining area and a living area with access to a small sea view balcony. The sofa converts into a bed, so the maximum capacity is 4 people. The kitchen is spacious, has a central dining area, and is fully equipped. All rooms have air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available throughout. There is no reserved parking, but free parking is available next to the building. AREA Located in the sunny Loreto centre of Calheta, the flat is a 10-minute drive from Calheta beach, where you’ll find bars, restaurants, and a supermarket. Nearby is the “Engenho da Calheta,” one of Madeira Island’s oldest sugar cane mills, open for visits year-round with a tasting room and wine bar. Calheta is about 40 minutes by car from Funchal city centre. GETTING AROUND The best option to reach the property is by transfer—ask us to book with our local partners, which is cheaper than airport taxis. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions and do our best to reply to all requests. We also provide an app for guests with important property and local information. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests must present valid ID (passport or identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 48 hours before arrival, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability. - All bed linen and towels are provided. Baby cot, high chair, and baby bath available on request. The property includes a first aid kit, extinguishers, and fire blanket. ATTENTION A Tourist Fee of €2.00 per person/night (aged 13 or over), up to 7 nights (€14 max per person/stay), will be charged. Upon arrival, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Please be considerate of neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels for safety reasons only. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. If abnormal levels are detected, you may receive a message from our team to check the situation. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and a fee. Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and a fee.
