Located in an area with easy access to beaches, restaurants, and shopping, the apartment is especially advantageous due to its proximity to the promenade, public parks, transport, bars, and stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean. The living room includes both a lounge and dining area, and the apartment accommodates up to 6 people with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The balcony, accessible from the living room and one bedroom, features a solarium and dining area—perfect for outdoor meals, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the sea view. The fully equipped kitchen also has a dining area, ensuring you have everything needed for a wonderful stay. Private parking is available. AREA The property is about 8 minutes from Funchal’s historic centre, where you’ll find the Farmer’s Market, cable car access, and the Old Town. Nearby beaches include the free and extensive Formosa Beach (pebbles and black sand), as well as the paid “Ponta Gorda” Beach Complex and “Cavacas” Dock. The promenade leads to Câmara de Lobos, known for its gastronomy and culture. In the opposite direction, you’ll find “Gorgulho” Beach (free) and the “Lido” Beach Complex (paid). The Forum Madeira Shopping Centre and Ajuda Public Garden are just a 2-minute walk away. For exploring the rest of Madeira, renting a car is recommended. GETTING AROUND Transfers can be arranged with local partners (cheaper than airport taxis). If you rent a car, navigation apps will easily guide you to the address. GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the property. GUEST INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions and strive to respond promptly. Guests also have access to an app with important property and local information. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - All guests must present valid ID (passport or identity card) as required by Portuguese law. - Check-in must be scheduled in advance (at least 48 hours prior); otherwise, it is subject to team availability. - Linens and towels are provided. Cot, high chair, and baby’s tub available on request. First aid kit, fire extinguishers, and fire blanket are provided. ATTENTION A Tourist Fee of €2.00 per person/night (aged 13 or over) applies, up to 7 nights (€14.00 max per person/stay). A payment link will be provided upon arrival. HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules. • Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • Please be considerate of neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night. The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels for safety reasons only. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. If abnormal levels are detected, you may receive a message from our team. In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration. A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights). Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and a fee. Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and a fee.
