Von dieser Immobilie aus können Sie die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Hauptstadt der Insel Madeira zu Fuß erreichen. In der Nähe befinden sich Restaurants, Einkaufszentren, Bars, Museen, die Kathedrale von Funchal, der Stadtgarten von Funchal, der Jachthafen von Funchal und das Stadttheater.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön, sehr zentral in Funchal gelegen und alles so wie beschrieben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, es hat auch alles perfekt geklappt mit der Kommunikation und den Hinweisen zu Funchal und Vergünstigungen für Mietwagen etc.
Das einzige kleinere Manko war, das durch die erhöhte exponierte Lage von den umstehenden Häusern in die Wohnung geschaut werden konnte. Zudem wäre nach 3-4 Tagen ein Wäscheservice gut gewesen.

Lovely stay at this airbnb, I'll definitely be back. The location is perfect for exploring the city centre and it is surprisingly quiet considering how central it is. The studio is really nicely decorated and was immaculately clean when I arrived. There was an issue with the a/c the night I arrived and I had to contact the host around 7pm. They sent someone from the team to resolve the problem very quickly. But it would be good to check heat, a/c etc is working when you arrive so you can contact the host during business hours.

Originell gestaltete, überaus helle kleine Wohnung in altem schönen Gebäude. Sehr geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Ein Bijou, mitten in der schönen Altstadt, aber doch sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Vermieter waren jederzeit erreichbar und haben kleine Mängel sofort behoben. Ein tolles Ferienerlebnis!

Lejligheden var nyindrettet, lys og fin. Vi savnede tørrefaciliteter til håndklæder. Køleskabet fungerede ikke helt og vi fik ikke hjælp til at få det helt op at køre. Det var dog ikke værre end at vi levede med det. Vi kan kun anbefale denne lejlighed og kommer gerne igen

Die Wohnung ist wirklich ein Highlight! Man fühlt sich wie in einem kleinen Haus über den Dächern von Funchal. Fenster bzw. Fenstertüren zu allen vier Seiten - dadurch ist die Wohnung lichtdurchflutet. Die Innenarchitektur ist Topp. Bad und Küche wurden als ein freistehender Block eingestellt - quasi als Haus im Haus. Die Fenster mit hölzernen Klappläden sind eine sehr aufwendige Tischlerarbeit ... Die Wohnung ist zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Toller Blick auf Hafen und Atlantik. Sehr zu empfehlen auch das Fotomuseum gleich gegenüber ...

The apartment was gorgeous and we really enjoyed the balcony for morning and evening views. The updates were done nicely as well. The washer/dryer came in handy during our trip. We had some problems with the AC not cooling enough but we managed with the windows. The location is perfect but there’s no parking nearby so be prepared to search for parking if you have a car.
The check-in instructions were misleading but hopefully they’ve remedied that by the time you’re reading this review. Just know that it’s on the top floor, that will be helpful.
There’s not any privacy with the bathroom (the pictures show a glass bathroom so that’s not a surprise) and there’s no storage for bags or clothes. Otherwise everything was good with the unit.
Our biggest issue was with the management company. They accessed the unit without our knowledge or permission and we raised the concern to AirBNB. They were checking on a few things we had brought up to them but we still felt it was inappropriate.

Apartment was amazing with beatiful views over the rooftops and on the ships coming and leaving the harbor. It was very clean and as we stayef for several weeks, the place was cleaned multiple times refreshing it as if we were just checking in. The location is perfect for exploring the central Funchal on feet. Nice nearby parks, cafes, fruit shops and oceanside all within a few minute walk. We definitely recommend the place and would be happy to stay here again.

Beautiful apartment right in the city center - however not noisy at all, but the contrary, quiet and nice. It matched the description, it’s near to the main places to see or eat at in Funchal. They don’t provide parking - however you can park with 4.5 euro per day in one of the private parking spots 5 mins walking distance on Rua 5 de Outubro. Madeira Plaza - Funchal shopping center - is also 5 mins away by foot.
Our only inconvenient was that for our 7 nights stay we didn’t get any fresh towels or bed linens and we had to wash them ourselves - they provide a washing machine with dryer and washing detergent.
All in all, it was one of the best accomodations we have ever been to and we recommend it 100%.

The location is ideal. Right on the doorstep of the shops and resturants, and a 10 minute walk for a swim. The apartment was beautiful, with views of the mountains and sea. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Just a dustpan and brush would have been useful. Also I would recommend that they put some chairs on the balcony, as the dining room chairs were too nice to take outside.
The apartment isn't cleaned during your stay, and some fresh towels would have been nice, but I guess if I had messaged the host, it would gave been arranged.

Sehr gut gelegene Unterkunft in einem aufwendig sanierten Haus mit Geschichte. Nur das Bügeleisen und ein Wäscheständer zum Trocknen haben gefehlt. Die Klimaanlage ist eigentlich eine Wärmepumpe und kühlt nur bedingt. Ansonsten zu empfehlen.

Die Unterkunft ist mitten in Funchal, vieles fußläufig erreichbar und trotzdem ist es nachts sehr ruhig. Eine schöne Unterkunft, sogar mit Aufzug. Ich würde es weiterempfehlen.

Een super mooi en schoon appartement midden in het centrum van Funchal. Een geweldige plek om vanuit hier Funchal maar ook de rest van Madeira te zien. Heeft een balkon met uitzicht op de stad en de zee. Zou er zeker nog een keer terug komen!

Great apartment in a good location. In the heart of Funchal and walking distance from amenities and attractions. The apartment itself was bright and airy with views of the mountains and sea. There was everything in place to make my stay comfortable. It was also clean and tidy. Despite the location, its was quiet and being a lone traveller, I felt very safe. There's a balcony in place but a small table and chairs would be nice to take advantage of the views. Will definitely be returning.

We loved everything, the one thing I would like to say about cleaning, glass doors in shower and carpets in apartments can be cleaned with a little bit more of attention. Sehr tolle Ausstattung, super helle Wohnung, sehr schöner Stil und sehr gute Qualität der Renovierung (innen liegende Fensterläden, Qualität der Fenster, eingebautes Bad und Küche). Super, dass es einen Wasserkocher in der Küche gegeben hat! Durch Code bei der Haustür und Code bei der Wohnungstür braucht es keinen Schlüssel, vollkommen Unabhängigkeit. Ideale Lage in der Stadt, extrem ruhig, für eine Woche perfekt!

Great apartment in the centre of Funchal.
Space itself is really well laid out. Although one large area, the layout really helps make the sleeping area, bathroom, kitchen and sitting area all feel like separate areas. The high ceilings and all the windows really makes the space feel for open and airy and the view of the city is fabulous.
Apartment has all the basic necessities you would need (lol … with the exception of a broom).
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Lichtdurchflutet, mit hellen Farben eingerichtet hat das Apartment eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Zusätzlich zum Balkon gibt es eine Dachterrasse. Wer sich über eine kleine Außenstiege wagt genießt einen wundervollen Ausblick.
Mit PKW unterwegs? In der Nähe befinden sich mehrere Tiefgaragen. Sehr praktisch war für uns der Waschtrockner. Jeweils nach einer Woche erfolgt eine Reinigung. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, für alle, die die Nähe von Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten schätzen.

Amazing apartment in Funchal! Right in the city center, near restaurants, activities, and the ocean. Beautiful and clean building with great decor. The apartment was on the very top floor and had an incredible view from the balcony and windows. The host was very responsive and helped with anything I needed. 10/10 recommend!

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Perfekte Lage, sehr schöne und geschmackvolle Einrichtung und das Apartment ist mit allen ausgestattet was man braucht. Obwohl es zentral in Funchal liegt war es sehr ruhig. Wir hatten von oben auch eine Aussicht auf das Meer. Sehr gut war auch, dass man keinen Schlüssel braucht sondern alle Türen mit einem PIN öffnen kann.

Amazing location in the heart of Funchal. Photos matched the apartment and we always felt safe inside.
They were responsive when the Internet went down for an evening. My only real complaint is the AC unit makes no sense at all. It was impossible to keep it running through the entire night. It got pretty hot being the top floor loft of the building.

The apartment was extremely clean, modern and beautiful. Very big apartment, situated in the center of Funchal, with cafes and restaurants on the same street. they also have a site within you can book cars, motorcycles, and experiences such as traveling through the island , to the mountains. was extremely helpful for us since we booked a transfer to the airport with better prices than Bolt.

Sehr elegant eingerichtetes Appartement mit Balkon und Dachterrasse. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch. Es war alles sehr sauber. Auf dem großen Bett konnte man wunderbar schlafen. Die Lage ist perfekt.

The apartment was lovely. There was plenty of space and everything you needed. The kitchen was quite fancy (tip - there are no handles so you open cupboards from the bottom). The location is perfect, really central, but still quiet in the evenings. There is no reception area but you can easily contact staff via their website/portal which is very efficient. We used this to book a taxi to the airport.

This one-room appartment is not quite arranged to suit two people. First you cannot turn the light off in the bedroom area without turning all lights out, so it is not possible to keep lights on in the livingroom area alone.
The toilet area is fully tranparrent, so you have no privacy; it would be a good idea to cover or dim the glasses on the front of the bathroom.
Apart from that, it is a nice and beautiful restored room/appartment at the very best location in Funchal.

Vi boede meget centralt. Tæt på havnen, restauranter, byen, seværdigheder og gode busforbindelser. Lejligheden var pænt istandsat med stuk i loftet, god belysning og pænt køkken og bad. Det var rent og man følte sig meget tryg i lejligheden.

Vi boede meget centralt. Tæt på havn, seværdigheder, restauranter og gode busforbindelser. Lejligheden var ren og det var tydeligt at det var nyrenoveret med flot stuk i loftet og respekt for den gamle bygning. Vi boede der i lavsæsonen, hvilket vil sige, at det var billigt at leje. Derfor synes vi helt klart det var alle pengene værd!

Die Wohnung war hell, modern eingerichtet und alles sehr neuwertig. Sie befindet sich im obersten Stockwerk des Hauses. Unser Balkon war groß genug um mit Tisch und Stühlen dort zu essen. Man muss die Möbel allerdings selbst nach draußen tragen, da der Balkon unmöbliert ist.
Das Bad war mit einer durchsichtigen Glasscheibe abgetrennt, hier wäre eine Milchglasscheibe von Vorteil und eine Ablage in der Dusche für Shampoo etc wäre sinnvoll.
Es gibt in der Wohnung eine Waschmaschine (für mich würde eine Spülmaschine mehr Sinn machen) aber nirgendwo eine Möglichkeit die Wäsche zum Trocknen aufzuhängen...
Da ich sehr geräuschempfindlich bin, störte mich auch das Brummen des Boilers -der sich in einem Schrank im Schlafzimmer befindet, so dass ich mit Ohrstöpseln schlafen musste. Meine Tochter hat es allerdings nicht gestört...
The flat was bright, modernly furnished and everything very new. It is located on the top floor of the house. Our balcony was big enough to eat there with table and chairs. However, you have to carry the furniture outside yourself as the balcony is unfurnished.
The bathroom was separated with a transparent glass pane, here a frosted glass pane would be an advantage and a shelf in the shower for shampoo etc would be useful.
There is a washing machine in the flat (for me a dishwasher would make more sense) but nowhere to hang the washing to dry....
As I am very sensitive to noise, I was also disturbed by the hum of the boiler -which is in a cupboard in the bedroom, so I had to sleep with earplugs. However, it didn't bother my daughter....
