Weit weg von der Hektik der Stadt, ist diese schöne Eigenschaft in einem privilegierten Bereich der Stadt, wo Ansichten der touristischen Bereich der Stadt mit der Weite des Atlantischen Ozeans mischen.
Mit hervorragender Sonneneinstrahlung, bietet der Garten Platz Sie die Möglichkeit, eine neue Bräune zu bekommen oder, wenn Sie sich entspannen und genießen Sie den Raum für eine gute Mahlzeit mit Freunden oder der Familie.
Das Anwesen verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer, zwei mit Doppelbetten, eines mit zwei Einzelbetten; zwei Badezimmer und zwei soziale; eine voll ausgestattete Küche und das geräumige Wohnzimmer, wo Sie die Aussicht genießen können. Das Haus bietet Platz für maximal sechs Personen.
Die Wohnung ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet und verfügt über eine Garage.

DIE UMGEBUNG ÜBERBLICK
In der Nähe eines der renommiertesten touristischen Gebieten von Funchal gelegen, ist diese Eigenschaft in der Nähe von Piornais und Formosa Beach, die eine 4-minütige Fahrt entfernt sind. Das Einkaufszentrum Forum Madeira mit mehreren international bekannten Geschäften und Kinos ist eine 7-minütige Autofahrt entfernt.
In der Nähe gibt es mehrere Bars. Zusätzlich zu den nächstgelegenen Möglichkeiten können Sie in das Stadtzentrum von Funchal fahren (10 Minuten mit dem Auto), wo Sie eine größere Auswahl an Restaurants finden.

ANREISE
Die beste Möglichkeit, das Haus zu erreichen, ist ein Transfer. Bitten Sie uns, einen solchen mit unseren lokalen Partnern zu organisieren. Er ist billiger als die Taxis, die Sie am Flughafen finden. Wenn Sie ein Auto mieten, wird jede Navigations-App die Adresse leicht finden.

The property has a wonderful ocean view, you can see the sunset from the living room and see sunset from the garden. It is a great choice for a family or group as the property is very spacious. The property is nicely furnished, the kitchen has most things that are needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms have great ocean views as well, the whole house feels private and well-thought out. It was a nice touch to provide dish washer tablets and washing machine powder. The garden is easy to access, it also has enough seating and also a bbq.
The parking is in the basement garage, it is a steep drive to the street and if a car parks close to the gate, it is almost impossible to drive out without scratching the car.
There aren't shops or restaurants nearby, car is a must.
The hot water runs out quickly and the power of the shower is weak.
Upon arrival nobody meets you but it'd be nice to be showed around as we had hard time opening to main door, the automatic blinds are not straight forward to handle.
During our stay the oven had an issue which we reported and got confirmation that somebody will stop by to fix it but during the 8 days stay, nobody showed up to repair it.

Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Von der Terrasse hat man einen traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Mit dem Auto ist man sehr schnell in Funchal. Bis auf ein paar kleinere Mängel, können wir das Haus absolut weiterempfehlen. Ein Whirlpool oder Pool würde das ganze noch toppen.

The house was modern with amazing views. I wish we spent more time enjoying the backyard. The one advice I would give is rent an SUV because the car we rented couldn't park in the driveway/garage without scraping the bottom. We ended up parking on the street above 95% of the time because it was very steep and narrow.

Vista mozzafiato, casa grande, giardino, barbecue e tanto altro per godere di un soggiorno perfetto.

Consiglio una macchina potente per affrontare la salita dove si trova l’appartamento.

Scegliere questa casa vi darà la possibilità di divertirvi e rilassarvi con i vostri amici o le vostre ragazze anche rimanendo a casa.

Fantastic place with perfect view over the city, ocean and montains, 10 minutes from Funchal by Bolt or taxi, bus station 1 minute walk. We loved the bedrooms and terrace with sun beds, it helped a lot it had a garage as we rented a car. Also it had 2 bathrooms with showers and extra 2 just with toilettes wich was perfect for our group of 6 people. Good amount of hot water and instant, I was very impressed how fast it was once turned on.
The beds and pillows are not of best quality, we only got one big towel per person for 6 nights, would have been good at least second smaller towel for all of us, we only had 2 of them. The windows although amazingly big and with breathtaking views were a bit dirty. The place has all the necessities of a kitchen but it would have been good to have a capsules expresso machine, it seems it only caters to english/american guests with the filter machine. All been said and done the location, the space, the terrace and ammenities are great and these are more suggestions for improvements for when we return rather than negatives.

This property is in a great location and the views are amazing. Very clean and pictures don’t do justice. Property is better than what you see in pictures. Very pleased and will definitely stay here again. I have been to a lot of vacation rentals, this was the best one by far.

Driveway is very steep and my car bottomed out but I ended up just parking on the street. Wasn’t a big deal as I just parked in front of the driveway entrance.

Beautiful property located at the top of a steep hill, granting endless ocean views from all corners of the house. Great location just outside of Funchal, the steep hill does require having a decent rental car (we had to change ours after the first night!). Super clean, high quality bedding, well equipped kitchen and a very responsive management team ensures you fully relax in this property. Super highly recommended!

We had a delightful stay at this beautiful modern apartment. The views were simply breathtaking, and the apartment itself was clean, well-appointed, and stylishly furnished. Despite encountering some barking dogs and navigating a steep driveway, which proved challenging for our rental car, these minor inconveniences did not overshadow the overall excellence of our experience. The host was accommodating and responsive, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. We would gladly return for another stay and highly recommend this Airbnb to fellow travelers. 5/5 stars!

Die Aussicht ist grandios, die grosse Garage, große Anzahl von Toiletten , die Aufteilung der Räume
Das bei unsere Ankunft vieles nicht in Ordnung war. Die Bäder waren nicht sauber, die Toiletten bürsten nicht zumutbar, einige Schränke ließen sich nicht ordentlich schließen, die Bratpfannen waren nicht zu gebrauchen, das Garagentor war defekt öffnete nicht, kein Sonnenschirm vorhanden, die Klimaanlagen des längeren nicht gewartet, zwei große aussen Fensterscheiben gebrochen die inneren waren in Ordnung. Nachdem wir alles vor Ort gemeldet haben bei einem Mitarbeiter der Vermieter wurde nächsten Tag einiges repariert und auch Sonnenschirm und Bratpfannen und Toiletten bürsten wurden getauscht und das Garagentor repariert. En général, le logement correspondait au descriptif.
Les points fort: Emplacement, vue, comfort des chambres. L'endroit est tranquille.
Points négatif : L'endroit semble laisser aller.. Il manque des coussins à l'extérieur, plusieurs vitres cassées, des mauvaises herbes partout! Impossible de marcher pieds nu. Salle de bain très sombre, lavabo qui coule, lumière manquante à plusieurs endroits, aucun produits nettoyant..! Pas de linge de maison pour la cuisine. Nous avons dû prendre une serviette à main de la salle de bains. C'est le strict minimum. C'est très impersonnel.
Il y a un gros potentiel, mais cette ville est laissé à l'abandon.
Nous n'avons pas apprécié de payé 15 Euro pour arrivé 1 heure plus tôt.. nous sommes habitués de louer un peu partout et je n'ai jamais vue ça. L'hôte est réactif, mais nous aurions apprécié voir quelqu'un au lieu d'une boite à clé (même si nous savions au départ que l'arrivé était ainsi).

My experience was very pleasant.
The view from the villa is impressive, offering a wide panorama of the surrounding ocean and landscapes. It's a quiet place, perfect for those looking to escape the noise of the city.

The self-check-in process was straightforward and hassle-free, which made for a great start.

The villa itself has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, the living areas are functional, and the bedrooms are comfortable. It feels like everything has been thought of for a convenient living experience.

A piece of advice for anyone considering a stay here: having a car is essential. Not just for this villa but for exploring Madeira in general, as it allows for much easier access to different parts of the island.

Overall, I definitely recommend this villa for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Madeira.

Потрясающий вид. Полностью продуманные и оборудованные всем необходимым апартаменты. Потрясающий дизайн как внутри дома, так и снаружи. Шикарная терраса с лежаками и душем. Будут очень комфортны для компании или семьи из 6 человек. Свой гараж. Есть гриль. На кухне вообще всё, что можно представить. Проживание было великолепным.
Так как апартаменты находятся на возвышенности, пешком куда-то будет сходить проблема. Для всего нужна машина. Довольно крутой заезд в гараж, но мы быстро приноровились.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen, tolle Aussicht, Supermarkt in der Nähe aber Mietauto muss sein👍
Betten sehr bequem, Ausstattung hat nichts gefehlt. Liegen wurden am Anreisetag gegen Neue ausgetauscht.
Duscharmaturen müssten mal überholt werden, Handbrause konnte in beiden Bädern nicht festgestellt werden.

The home is beautiful and the views are stunning. However, it was not easy to enjoy staying here. It appears the owner of the property has lost interest in maintaining it. The house is gated, but the remote control for the driveway gate was broken and took several attemps to get it to work any time we wanted to leave or enter the property. It may be as simple as getting a new one. At least half of all the ceiling lights were burnt out and the lights over the bathroom vanities upstairs looked like undercabinet lighting and didn't even work. All of the outdoor lounge chairs are rotted and broken and one of our children fell through when they sat on it. The outdoor umbrella was also broken and cushions for the outdoor seating are missing. The refrigerator was broken upon arrival, but I will say the host was very responsive in getting it replaced. This was a terrible value for the price. I have stayed in many Airbnbs around the world and this was my least enjoyable experience.

This is a very beautiful house, very comfortable for six guests. It is on a steep hill and there are no restaurants or supermarkets near by. But there is a nice supermarket and farmers’ market in Camara de Lobos. There are also great restaurants. And there is a bus stop close to the house. Bus #3 will take you right into Funchal. Taxi rides from Funchal to the house are about $15.
The view from the house is absolutely beautiful.
Any small issues with the house were addressed at once. The communication was very good.

Die Aussicht und die Unterkunft an sich sind super. Insgesamt sehr geräumig und die eigene Garage ist ein nettes Extra. Die Lage war super für Ausflüge. Nach einer Woche wurden die Handtücher und Bettsachen gewechselt und in der Küche geputzt.
Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. (Die Sonnenliegen waren sehr klapperig, bei einem Bett war eine Leiste gebrochen, der Ofen erfordert viel Gefühl bei der Bedienung etc). Insgesamt merkt man, dass das Anwesen von einer Firma und nicht von privat vermietet wird.

Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und perfekt gereinigt. Unangenehm faulige Gerüche in der Küche und im Treppenhaus. Mit Durchzug/offenen Fenstern waren Gerüche weg, kamen aber neu... Terrassenbelag färbte stark schwarz, man bekam sofort schwarze Sohlen/Füße und trug den Schmutz in das ganze Haus. Außenmöbel vergilbt aber in Ordnung. Alle Polsterauflagen im Außenbereich und die Bezüge der Sessel in der Stube müssten ersetzt bzw. gereinigt werden.
Angebotene Kommunikation über Whattsapp funktionierte nicht. Unsere Nachfrage nach einem Check-Out (eine Stunde später) wurde leider auch nach 7 Tagen nicht gelesen.
Das Haus ist perfekt gelegen. Der traumhafte Ausblick auf das Meer wird lediglich durch Müllsammelplatz an der nächsten Straßenecke beeinträchtigt.
Alles was man im Urlaub benötigt, war mit dem Auto innerhalb weniger Minuten erreichbar. Fußläufig war es wegen der steilen Straße/Wege zwar auch gut möglich, aber etwas anstrengend: Bäcker + Supermarkt 20 Minuten, Restaurant 20-30 Minuten, Strand 40 Minuten. Aber das war uns ja vorher bekannt.
Das Haus ist (fast) perfekt ausgestattet. Für das Gästebad gab es kein Handtuch. Es gab insgesamt nur 5 Weingläser, von denen keine 2 die gleiche Größe hatten.
Ohne die vorgenannten Mängel wäre das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut gewesen. So war es in Ordnung.

What an amazing place to stay in Madeira! The villa itself as well as the views are even better than in the photos. Everything was super clean and well-maintained. We stayed as a couple, but this would definitely be a comfortable space for a family or group too. Check in was easy and details were all communicated ahead of time. The location is a little tough to walk to other places or activities if you’re not up for a ton of hills, but that seems to be the case everywhere on the island, and we didn’t mind. Plus, the villa is so nice that you just want to stay there and soak up the sun on the private terrace! It took about 30 minutes to walk to Praia Formosa beach, not a difficult walk, but if you want to go into Funchal it’s easier to drive or get a taxi (I would not recommend driving here unless you get an automatic car/are super confident driving standard.) All in all a fantastic stay, I would not hesitate to recommend staying here!!

Très belle maison moderne et confortable avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la baie de Funchal ... c'est féerique la nuit !
La propriété est très bien située, au calme, à deux minutes de la voie express. Une boite à clés permet d'arriver à n'importe quelle heure. Le check out est lui aussi très facile et les contacts sont simples avec An Island Appart qui répond rapidement .
Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute, en espérant avoir un temps plus clément pour profiter vraiment du jardin !

We had a really nice stay at this villa. It is situated on a very very steep mountainside, with an excellent view. Kitchen is not the most well equipped, but every time we had any kind of enquiry with the people from An island appart, they helped us immidiately. Eg. th coffe maker broke and they replaced it the same day, we needed childrens beds and high chairs and they supplied this. The power went off (in the whole region) and they sent a member of staff imidiately to keep us informed. So very helpful and nice company! And vey nive and comfertable villa.

This place was amazing! The views were absolutely stunning from the terrace and the bedrooms. Ample parking, amenities, and essentials. Lots of space. Huge gorgeous sliding glass doors. Comfortable couch and beds. A little off the beaten path from restaurants (about a 30 minute walk or 10 minute drive), but well worth it! This house was hard to leave.

This villa is absolutely gorgeous, clean, spacious and in a perfect location. We really thought it was the nicest looking Villa in Funchal! Would definitely recommend! We were very happy with our stay in Vila Papagaio Verde. The house was the perfect spot to complement our holiday. We really enjoyed the space, cool stairs and particularly the views. The deck chairs were a welcome addition. The only thing that bothered us was that one bathroom lock was not working. Overall, Fabio was very helpful and we were glad that we could book an airport transfer through your website. Thanks again!

the location was excellent- with restaurants, swimming very near by - and the view was exceptional.
we did have some ants that showed up and tried to crash the party but the property quickly responded and gave us some ant spray.

A very nice house with an amazing view.
It was very easy to check in and out.
The house was very big and had everything we needed at our stay.
A big plus is the view, especially in the morning when the sun goes up and in the evening when the sun goes down.

Beautiful home with breathtaking views! A little difficult to see if you’re coming in after dark, so take the steep hill slowly! Worth it though, this was very comfortable, clean, and beautiful.
Tips: WiFi works only downstairs (it’s possible we just didn’t have the upstairs router set up right), opening the garage and gate can be a challenge, you have to be very close to get the signal right and they do close automatically after a short period of being open (great for security!)

The home was decorated very nice and was comfortable. The backyard was beautiful with a spectacular view!
Very hard to get into garage/parking. The home is on a very steep hill. Had we known we would have rented an automatic car not stick shift.

Casa moderna com excelente vista. Muito fácil a comunicação com o host, que nos disponibilizou um link com toda a informação necessária para o Check-In e estadia. A casa está bem equipada, com o necessário para tornar a nossa estadia o mais confortável possível. A localização da casa é boa se deslocar-se de carro. Fica numa zona habitacional tranquila, próxima do acesso à via rápida (VR1) e a 5 minutos de carro do Madeira Shopping, caso necessite de alguns bens essenciais.

Super sauberes Haus. Tolle Lage direkt 2 Minuten von der Autobahn entfernt, ohne diese zu hören. Supermarkt einfach nur die Straße hoch in 6 Minuten zu erreichen. Ausstattung des Hauses top. Wir hatten den Vorteil, dass wir aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie einen Sonderpreis bezahlt haben. Ob es uns den vollen Preis wert wäre, möchte ich offen lassen, da es schon echt eine Stange Geld ist.

Tivemos uma estadia muito tranquila e confortável nesta moradia espaçosa, limpa e com sistema domótico. Ar condicionado em cada quarto e na sala de estar, terraço e jardim com vistas deslumbrantes de mar e uma garagem ampla. Boa exposição solar. Ótima localização. É aconselhável o aluguer de viatura, a rua é íngreme. Excelente comunicação com os agentes da propriedade. Recomendamos vivamente!

The outstanding views.

How modern, clean and spacious the property was.
A car is a necessity and the downside to great views are that you have to climb 20% plus inclines to get there.

The agent let us down by failing to inform us the aircon leaked water and that the kettle was broken. We reported the aircon on day 1 and it remained faulty when we left. The kettle was replaced on day 5, after we had already purchased a replacement at our own expense.

Both inside and outside there is neatly finished and a beautiful sea view.
Spacious bedrooms and very good beds.
The price-quality ratio was beyond expectations, but
a car is needed because of the location (a taxi is also an option)

Vila Pagagaio Verde has an amazing view and a relaxing and minimalistic decoration, perfect for holidays.

This is a beautiful, large, house with an amazing view. It is modern and very pleasant.

However, we cannot recommend it because of the host.

We arrived at the property at 4pm with curfew set to start at 6pm. It wasn’t ready. We were not told that it won’t be ready. It was eventually ready only at 5:55pm. There is nothing to do around the property so we needed to sit in the car and wait because of the curfew. The host didn’t seem to think it’s a problem and only offered the remotest of apologies after 5 minutes of conversation. There was no box of chocolates or a bottle of wine or even a call from the manager to express that it’s not okay to not prepare a property when movement outside is forbidden.

The property is very nice but it is poorly maintained. It was reasonably clean (even if not sparkling) but was missing lights so bathrooms were dark and it was missing a shower head. Some of the drawers are falling apart. Nothing major but a sign that this big company host cares about the property as much as it cared about us as guests.

Finally, the price for the property’s amazing view is that it can only be accessed by car. It seems on the map to be a walking distance from the lido. It is not, unless you are into mountain climbing, it is almost a permanent 45% all the way. Not a problem if you have a car but it’s not really in Funchal centre.

Etwas schade ist die qualitativ leider nicht besonders hochwertig gewählte Ausstattung an Schränken und Küchengeräten die funktional etwas zu wünschen übrig lässt...

Beautifully located villa with great sea views. Large rooms with everything in it what you might need. Great fenced garden with lots of possibilities to sit. Pack-and-play and high chair available.
Owner responds very quick and adequate.
Would reccomend staying here to anyone!

Es war ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt in diesem fantastischen Haus. Wir hatten sehr erholsame und entspannte Tage. Der Check in mit Carolina war super, verständlich und sehr herzlich. Das Haus ist sehr schön und auch sehr geschmackvoll, sowie funktional eingerichtet. Der Ausblick... der Wahnsinn! Wir konnten uns gar nicht satt sehen.
